A new threat looms on the horizon for Anna and the Seaside Wolf Pack. Anna and the guys start finding bodies of their pack mates around the same time that Anna notices something distinctly fae about Justin. None of them believe that's a coincidence.
But while Anna and the guys look for a way to either save or defeat Justin, others are looking to place blame on Anna herself. Anna soon discovers that her new enemy is something even worse than the fae she's faced in the past. Her pack is relying on her to be the magical expert who can keep them all safe, but is she up to the task?

Everyone has dark moments in their life that we sometimes wish we could erase or forget. But sometimes it's the pain and struggle that we have gone through that gave us our inner strength.
For me, writing started as a way to confront some of the demons of my past so that I could put them behind me forever. Most of my characters have a dark or troubled past and my books follow their progress as they emerge from the darkness that has held them down for so long.
As the darkness fades, hope for a better future starts to emerge (like the sun after a storm). A piece of my soul goes into each one of my books, and my hope and faith in a brighter tomorrow is reflected in each one of my characters.
Books have always been a source of escape and enjoyment for me, so I hope that my work can help others in the same way:-)

Anna went from being ignored to having way too much attention focused on her. Attention from her mates is 1 thing. Attention from everyone, and everything, else? Not. Good. And that adage about staring into the abyss? Yeah, there could be some truth in that one. Because Anna's pretty sure they the void is doing more than just whispering these days.
Spoilers ahead. And I thought book 4 was busy. The author just had to go and prove me wrong on that thought. I call this section spoilers but I don't usually. I hate to this time, but there's just so much that doesn't make sense and got jumbled in the frantic rush of this book. *If they're leaking info about fae, and how the wolves actually are descendants of them, plus the roles white wolves play, why is everyone against Anna? Doesn't compute. Even initial panic wouldn't explain the idiocy of possibly damaging a very necessary resource. *Why do none of these people speak up? Austin, the most powerful wolf, quiet when defending his pack. Anna, the most powerful hybrid being, keeps secrets and hides from the society she wants to help and change. James is just a threat from a dark corner. The twins have been demoted from pranksters to angsty lovesick beaus. Caleb has become a puppy sitting keyboard jockey with a hundred projects that we're never given any info on but are supposed to be very important. *Anna has had 6 months (if I'm counting right- met during summer and it's Xmas) to do something about changing the wolves for better and helping females in general. Whispers, mingling, little ways of helping. You can't hate a friend. You can't fear a helping hand. Hiding how she helped Jessica, an enemy? Not smart. Not offering to help pack masters' mates? Also not smart. Become valuable to stay safe and non threatening. Instead she became the very thing she didn't want to be, a cosseted and sheltered female. Yeah she stood up to her mates and a few pesky fae, but she ignores her instincts and sent an endangered female back with a violent lunatic. Because she allowed her mates to speak up instead of taking that stand. *Tricky resources are still resources. She could negotiate a deal for help with the fae. She didn't. And look what happened? It took both courts to contain them. Wolves are descendants of summer, she's a wolf and her dad is winter court. Even if they could only rely on winter to help she had access to summer magic through herself. Instead, she ignored valuable resources out of apathy (just didn't want to deal with them) and the epilogue let's us know how well that turned out. *This book was so crammed that the events took over everything. Including all the bonds strengthening. A handful of sexy times is not bonding and it isn't really worth fighting for. We're supposed to be rooting for these characters, but the characters have become background noise and are being run roughshod over by a dozen plot points vying for attention. *This world is still being fleshed in and this was book 5. And after a small Sam tangent, book 6 is supposed to end this series. That means we have the mom issue, the dad issue, the sibling rescue issue, the escape issue, an angry council issue, a winter court ascension to kinghood issue, summer court shenanigans, every supernatural for themselves issue after outing issue, pack members' betrayal issues, still struggling with her magic issues, bonded but not not really issues, and restructuring all of wolf kind to save females from being possessions and dying in childbirth broodmares issue- all to be solved in 1 book. If the book is the usual length, I don't see this wrapping up all those ends. The whole lamia and witch thing I'll let slide because a spin off series could settle that. Ditto on the fae courts. But the rest? The book would have to be 3xs the usual length to even touch briefly on all the rest, and fit dialogue into without it reading like the summary of events in a report.
As much as I wanted to read Sam's book, I don't know. I feel like what she is going to find out is something that could have been found out sooner and knowing it could have helped prevent what has already happened will just be frustrating. And then book 6, the reason I started this reread, I just don't see how everything wraps up in it. There's just so many waving threads. I loved how this series started. Anna was a little too perfect, even damaged and withdrawn, but she felt real. Book 3 changed the whole feel of the series in the fae realm. And then everything went full tilt, pile it on bonkers. The heart of the series got overtaken. While all the new plot points are exciting, it's starting to feel crowded. This could easily be a 10 book series with some fleshing out, and spacing out, of all the events and mysteries. I want to see Anna shine. I want to see her integrating with her pack. I want to see the female wolves liberated and lead healthy lives. I want more movie nights with the guys, and family dinners. Those lovely savoring moments.
*I received an ARC from the author in exchange for a honest review*
I cannot believe we've come so far. The fifth book, wow. So much happened in this one that is hard to give a review without spoilers so I'm gonna try to keep it light. Anna is growing so much along with my her guys. Her relationship with each of them is getting so deep, their interactions an feelings are so real. I absolutely love this aspect of the series. Then we have the plot that also becomes more complex with each book. And you are in for a big surprise at the end. A HUGE surprise. I didn't say if it was a good one or a bad one but it is a surprise nonetheless. So you have to read it. But sincerely, anyone who has read this series is going to go nuts after this book. Now I want the next one. This is the problem with good books, you wait for them a whole lot, read them quickly and then you want more.
The story keeps you wanting more the writer is brilliant . The characters are so personable that you feel their pains n joys. Can't wait for the next book❤
Honestly, I think this series has bitten off more than it can chew with this last book. It’s just too much with not enough time to properly wrap it all up. There are more open ended plot lines than ever with only ONE FREAKING BOOK LEFT!! I see nothing but disappointment in my future, but I’ll try anyway.

I really enjoyed the previous 3 books. Book 4 was stretching it but still enjoyed it! What did I find difficult with this book? Well the first 60% of the book was fluff and dragged ooooon. Then BAM the action and story finally started but it was a rush to the finish and then we get to the end and my curiosity wasn’t satisfied. I don’t mind a cliffhanger if it’s done well but we’re suspended in time awaiting yet another book. Despite a cliffhanger ending I want to feel sated even if I have a few more questions.
Anna is yet again kidnapped and at this point it’s becoming her thing! You can almost predict she’ll be taken. It’s kind of annoying. She’s starting to become a little unlikable. My critique is in no way to be discouraging to the author but to voice a few problems I have as a reader. I’ll probably pick up the next book to appease my curiosity.
Another wonderfully written book by C. C. Masters. I love Anna and her mates, the dynamic between them and their different personalities that combine to make a loving family. This book was filled with action and a more complex storyline. Several different POVs too. While I enjoyed the story, personally there was a bit too much strife and angst in this one for me. I would like it if Anna and her mates could go back to basics just a little - a bit more focus on deepening their relationship. Don't get me wrong, they had their moments and they were great but just prefer a little deeper. Poor Anna has had a hard life and it doesn't seem to be getting any easier!
It was lovely having some of the guy's POVs again. Without giving away spoilers, Anna and the guys seem to have a long road ahead of them and there is a lot of potential for several different storylines which will be interesting.
Overall I definitely enjoyed the book and highly recommend anything written by this author but I'm just hoping the next book doesn't have me feeling as anxious throughout!

I loved this book. However, I felt it was too short. I wanted more. I needed more. We get gods, and fae, and werewolves gone mad. Anna coming into her own power and having a better understanding of what she can do. We also get people making statements out of turn because they assume they know what is right. This book had everything answered some burning questions and left you ready for the final showdown.
I am awaiting the reaction of the pack when she comes back. I am awaiting the reaction of the council. I wish I could fully express how excited I am for the next book. I am not left in a place of stress and anxiety. I am left in a place of excitement and eagerness.
Also, there was some foreshadowing of Sam's story and I am SOOOOO looking forward to that.
The story paced. From the previous books, there were a lot of indications what to expect. That Justin would be a problem, was a given. That he would target Anna, too. What was surprising was, that he was some kind of possessed by a dark entity? Ok, I had a suspicion that there would be problems with fae and the Montreal Pack. And what they're guarding. But who had thought it would get that turbulent and terrible? The adage is true: Things never turned out the way you expect.
So, yeah, it was exciting and well written. As I am used from C.C. Masters by now, with a lot of twists and turns. I am somehow glad, that the journey isn't far from the end. I don't want to, but I want a happy life for Anna. She has had enough hard situations.
The father being setup was predictable. Anna annoyed me not listening to her pack master.
The past two books have gone on about the new Anna and how she wasn’t letting anything stop her just for to she’s having a self identity crisis because she doesn’t know where she fits in.
They already said Justin would try to undermine Austin by using Anna and then at the council meeting they, “…. assumed he would come after Austin directly, and neither of us had expected an attack on Anna.” Make it make sense.
This series is still exploring too many options instead of honing in on the end. I’m still having a hard time connecting with the story and characters.
This is the second series by this author I have read and it’s just as gripping as the first, although waiting for the final book is going to kill me (the trials and tribulations of being a reader) It starts slowly with a wealth of background information to make this world detailed and the characters come to life, from the MC discovering she is wolf to discovering she is more, world domination threatened, personal anxieties and feelings of being ‘less’, this story gives you a mind grabbing run for your money. If you love wolves, vampires, fae, witches and why choose? its all here and I highly recommend reading
So far overall I like the story but it's like, I don't know it seems to drag on a lot. I enjoy it but at the same time I'm starting to fall asleep at the certain parts of the story. I don't know it just seems like a lot is going on. I wish they would just make each book an individual story instead of having it drag on and on and on. And the fact that 4.5, Sam's book, breeches into book five and six so I have to keep stopping reading it, and go to the books that are about what they're talking about, and then go back to Sam's book. It's driving me nuts. And I'm babbling right now cuz it's late at night and I'm exhausted.

I don’t even know how to explain but I could be having the worst day and then I read these books and suddenly life is amazing?! TOP 5 book series OAT for me🥹
I literally LOVE the plot, characters, people and just everything in general.
If Teen wolf met supernatural which met TVD, It would be this!!
If you’re looking for a book series that feels like a warm hug, with characters that you’ll love from the beginning and six amazing guys and EVEN BETTER friendships?!?! READ THIS BOOK!!
Ok I am going to assume that everyone has read up until this book and is familiar with the characters. I love this series and the dynamic between Anna and her guys. We finally get some Austin time and thats super appreciated. My only fault with this book is the story is starting to become almost too choatic. Too much drama outside of the characters. I am sick of Anna being taken. Thats my only complaint.
I fell in love with this series after book one, and CC Masters just keeps outdoing herself. The characters are so relatable, and the plot lines are unpredictable. I recommend this read to anyone who loves to read shifter romances! Cannot wait for more!

Another great 👍🏻 book 📖 .....I love 💕 Anna so much she has grown in so many ways , and the strength she has started to show is amazing 😊 her 6 mates are yummy 😋 gorgeous and protective as always , and always standing together as pack ...I really do love this series and will be gutted when it’s finished ...5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 from me love 💖 it 😍
Things get so tense in this book and go from good to bad real quick. The pack is splintering from within and Justin is causing lots of deception. The bonds of the harem are getting stronger though and they are able to save one another. Things end in a bad place though so the next book will be tense as well as our team to re a plan.
I love this series and how well the author entwines multiple worlds so they all coalesce together. Anna and her men again face derision and complications but they all show their true colors and come together to fight the next fight. Can’t wait for the next book!
This was a fun read. It takes a lot for me to like a slow burn but this series really blew it out of the park! I loved the interactions with the characters and how they all grow to love each other. The last book I feel was either too slow or too fast. It's been several days since I finished reading and am still debating on which I am leaning more towards.
This was a great instalment in the seaside wolf pack series. Very well written. This series is a must read. I can not wait to see what happens in the next book.

C.C.Masters does it again with her Seaside Wolf Pack. This story has so much depth that it's hard to put the book down and I was so caught up with it that I wasn't prepared for it to end. This is a wolf shifter RH and must be read in order to understand the story.
The adventure continues, this book seemed a bit shorter than the others but did have some nice hot moments and some good action! A lot of new info and big problems for Anna and her men
This series is so exciting. This episode particularly so. The pack is facing a more dangerous enemy than any they have faced before. It's going to get super scary before this story ends.
Wow!! This book started and kept going until the very end..that ending!!! Brutal!!! The pack is in a very precarious position, not sure how they are going to solve the dilemma that Justine got them in, more like catastrophic event!! Love it!!
Overall: 5/5 Heat: 4/5 Romance: 5/5 Drama: 4/5 Suspense: 4/5 Cliffhanger(?): 4/5 MM: None HEA: At the end of the series World Building: 5/5 Relationship Building: 5/5 Triggers: FMC was abused and other characters have similar backgrounds
After a rough start with the first books, in particular boon 1.5 a novella, this has turned out to be in interesting series to read. Looking forward to the next bokn
