The story continues, following the events of its predecessor. In the anime world, Satovia, Clyde still battles the anime tropes, but no longer dances at the fingertips of the watchers. However, his friends have real issues, problems that intertwine with his own mission. Casting away selfishness, he finds himself awakening his real power.
The Anime Trope System volume 2 brings with it, humor, anime tropes and… yanderes, references, perverseness, and a lot of character development.
So, let’s level up and accidentally capture the hearts of anime girls while at it…
Warning: This novel contains sexual content, sex scenes, and sexual humor fit for anime fans. You have been warned. Not for the faintest of hearts.
First off, thank you for reading: the books and this bio. A little about myself: I'm man of humor, fantasy, LitRPG, and a lover of characters and their dreams. Born in Florida, I did military service, and dropped out of college to foolishly pursue a writing dream.

It goes a long way in supporting the series, editing, covers, and maybe that one slice of pizza on a cheat day.
I'm humbled to have made this far thanks to your support and hope to push further beyond my current chokehold.

Still a bit sexually violent for my taste with the main bad guy raping and killing, but I enjoyed the rest of the story (which is why the 4 stars) and I plan to read the follow-up books. The author should really hire an editor as there were way too many bad sentences (grammar or typo’s) which detracts from a good read. It’s a real Anime Harem type tale, but where the MC is loved by most of the female characters, but manages to have sex with several of the girls who don’t seem to know (or sometimes care) that they aren’t the only one. Much jealousy abounds the MC’s between the ladies which causes emotional conflict, with some of the characters I’m not looking forward to them finding out about how far each has gotten with the MC.
Ok the author did a good job in telling a story in such a way as to make you smile and laugh. The tropes are funny and done in such a way as to make you think of all of the Anime series you have watched and enjoyed. I enjoyed it and will read more in this series.
A great read for people who love gaming and anime. Was an interesting take on the litrpg genre with the MC not necessarily OP but does break the rules and systems. Can't wait for the next book
Entertaining series for anyone who enjoys anime, manga or light novels. Although our is pretty mature and somewhat dark. Only downside is the massive number of editing/grammatical errors. Pretty much at least 1 per page.
This series seems to be missing a story line. I know there's the whole Stone vs. Viper under current, but it lacks any true narrative flow. There's less a plot line happening here and more chunks of cool things the author saw once on an anime, strung together with cringey ftsh stuff. It's all so grindy and repetitive too, like watching someone slowly level on an old JRPG by running back and forth. Worse since the JRPG would at least have interesting visuals and a defined rule set. Combat in these books is usually just a string of "[Character] activates [skill level] [skill name]".
FYI, lamp-shading the Deus ex Machina powers of a Main Character doesn't make the regular abuse of it ok. It works in things like "One Punch Man" because it's played for comedic effect.
Side note: In the audio book, they regularly read out the MC's entire sheet. It takes about 10 minutes to go through every time. I'm sure it looks cool in text form, but it really doesn't work in audio form and should be left out.
Clyde is starting to get a better understanding of his powers and gaining, to his disinterest, a harem of powerful humans and demons. The fights against the evil demons are increasing and they are stronger too, making Clyde gain more experience therefore more levels, himself. This was a lot more fun than the first book and I'm really looking forward to read more of his adventures.
The title is right. A crazy mashup of anime tropes where every woman around wants the MC. The progression was a lot like playing a Persona game with people calling out Dragon BallZ moves on a porn movie set. Pretty funny for the most part and over the top. It's an experience. Kind of like Stuart Grosse with a laugh track.
OK, these seem to be growing on me. The wackiness of it I find appealing in these messed up times of global pandemic (with another one waiting in the wings in China apparently), so I'll keep going until it ends, or I lose interest. I usually tap out of a series when it hits 8 or 9, but there are exceptions; we'll see if this is one of them.
Mistakes: Really get an editor! Plot: The sex is overblown to the point of pure silliness. Characters: Likable enough. 5.5/10 Actually wouldn't be half bad if it was cleaned up.
This is a wonderful twist on an anime story. Though I am not sure if putting a real person in an anime scenario would result in what we have in this story though it was a lot of fun to read.
A book about a character pulled into an anime world not about to be stuck as a harem trope main character. Then proceeds to act just like said trope with sex. If this was a straight light novel it would be fine but given the set up I find it lacking.
The action continues. I really enjoyed this one. The action and adventure was non-stop. The story and characters were intriguing and engaging. I look forward to reading more about these characters and their further adventures. This book is definitely worth reading.
This series did not get any better from book 1. It's full of tropes and not much else but most of them are from hentai and not anime. If you want shallow harem porn, this might interest you.
seriously, like half of this book is rape scenes, and a big chunk of the rest of it is repetitive sex scenes between the MC and his harem. listening to this feels like the worst, most boring grinding you've ever had to do in a game, with nothing to show for it but a headache when you're done. the only reason i'm suffering through this is my husband's listening to the audio books, and he puts up with my annoying tendencies, so i put up with his. i would not recommend this series to anyone. the offensiveness level has increased since the last book, it didn't have nearly as much raping in it. i worry about the author's mental health, really i do. there is no reason to have so much rape going on, there are so many other ways to show evil in a person's character. the idea behind this series is a good one, it could've been funny, action packed, clever....but it needs a good editor, it needs a thesaurus and a grammar guide left on the author's desk, and it needs the author to get some counseling or something before he continues to write.
