From the author of "TAKE TWO, " a stellar journey to the outer limits of pleasure. . .where lust and love get wild. Get ready to fly. . . "The Girl, The Geek, and the Time Machine"

Voluptuous beauty Taylor Simms has curves in all the right places--and an admirer from the next century who really appreciates them. He's going to give her an unforgettable lesson in pleasure--and danger--and she's going to get the ride of her life. . .
"Wild-Men and Wormholes"

But someone's watching her every move: a gorgeous, half-naked wild man with a hard body that doesn't quit. Whatever. Ariel is more than a million miles away from home and ready for something wild. . .
Evangeline Anderson is a registered MRI tech who would rather be writing. And yes, she is nerdy enough to have a bumper sticker that says “I’d rather be writing.” Honk if you see her! She is thirty-something and lives in Florida with a husband, a son, and two cats. She had been writing erotic fiction for her own gratification for a number of years before it occurred to her to try and get paid for it. To her delight, she found that it was actually possible to get money for having a dirty mind and she has been writing paranormal and Sci-fi erotica steadily ever since.
I was so disappointed in this book. It is a three story anthology all written by the same author. I only liked one story out of the three, and it really wasn't that great. There was hardly any character development, and I just didn't get into the characters.
3-in-1 by author Evangeline Anderson w/ futuristic feel. The Geek and the Girl involves a woman that tries to fix her fiance's past in order to save thier relationship. The Geek that is helping her has a time machine that requires intense emotion to be powered. Pleaure or pain. They choose pleasure, and lots of it! Mirror of the heart The intense erotic dreams Taylor is having is leaving her confused. She does not know who she is with in the dreams. Reese is a genetics police from the future come to rescue Taylor, because she has been illegally cloned. He can hardly contain his attraction to her curvy body. They just don't make them like her anymore. Wild-men and Wormholes Ariel Stone Tarringon has to marry or lose her trust fund, which would mean no more funding for her expeditions. Visiting Tordanji Prime she comes upon her dream discovery. Not only are the natives handsome, naked men. But they no nothing of what a woman's body is for, but she can teach them.
I enjoyed the stories and characters in Pleasure Planet. I am a sucker for a good space love story. Believe me the hotness factor is definatley not forgotten among the techie talk.
I won a full-length book by this author and I enjoy sci-fi on occasion, so I thought I’d try one of the author’s novellas first. Sometimes it’s a good indication of whether I’ll like their longer stories and sometimes it’s not. In this case, I’m really not sure. I only read one story from this collection and it appears to be written for the sake of sex, rather than story. (The collection’s title should have been the giveaway 😜) I liked the idea of the story and found myself thinking about how the author could have expanded it into a full-length story full of world-building, angst, and romance, but as is, I wasn’t really impressed. I’m probably not the right audience for these fast paced, sex-focused short novellas that tend to fly through the storyline.
Three unrelated storied of finding love in space, on different planets.
Kind of reminds me of the old Star Trek episodes...except with the protagonists all being female, instead of male. Oh, and there are more explicit sex scenes than on TV, for obvious reasons.
A fun, quick romp through space, and wormholes. Of the three stories, I enjoyed the last one the most.
I don’t like to give spoilers on the books that I read. I believe the blurb on the back is enough for you to decide if you will read the book or not. If you choose to read, enjoy!
I picked this book because Evangeline Anderson Jas a unique way of telling a story I chose this book to what type of imagination she would come up with.I would recommend this book to anyone who interested in syfy.
Pleasure Planet (I don't think the title fits) is an anthology of three stories (novellas). I didn't read the last one but I found the first two enjoyable. Though the plot was predictable, it was still able to entertain.
With "The Girl, The Geek, and the Time Machine," I did grow somewhat annoyed with the heroine when it took her many time trips to finally learn her lesson. On a side note, it did irritate me when the author had the fitness trainer boyfriend telling the heroine that many crunches would give her flat abs. The author should have done more research, because that is not true. You can't do "spot-training" to target fat in a certain area. You can target specific muscle groups to get a leaner or bulkier frame, of course, but you can't control which fat your body melts first. The human body doesn't work that way. A fitness trainer would know this and not advise to the contrary.
I liked "Mirror of the Heart" much better because it was more adventurous and the plot twist was darker. It allowed for more character depth to be seen, which was an improvement over the last story which had bland characters.
I don't like the heroines in the first and second stories, I like the third one is cut short, but I like the h. The third story is quite similar to Tarzan(the adult version)...hehe. The twist in the second story is quite nice, but the ending is almost anticlimax. The first story has an unlikable heroine that I almost skip to the next story. Everyone don't have character development, but it's entertaining.
I loved "The Girl, The Geek, and the Time Machine." It was such a cute little story. Kara did some questionable things, but I liked the story enough to ignore it. "Mirror of the Heart" and "Wild-Men and Wormholes" were good, but the first really stole the show, for me at least :)
3 unrelated stories. All three were well-written and enjoyable, but I feel the title was poorly chosen. Only the last one was really set in an outer space scifi setting. 3.5 stars.
