We've all been cursed...

Against all odds, I’ve rescued my friends from the evil Roman Fates. We should all be celebrating, but there’s a big problem. Every single one of them has been tattooed with a curse that will make them slaves to an ancient evil if they step outside the castle grounds.

Because I’m the Druid Dragon God, I’m linked to the Fates. Only I can save my friends and take out the enemy once and for all. But when a spell goes wrong, I end up with the same cursed tattoo. I’ve got less than a week before crap hits the fan and I become a slave as well.

With the help of Lachlan and my sisters, it’s a race against time to break the curse and kill the Fates. When my strange magic grows exponentially, I can only hope I gain enough control to save the day.

Doomsday Magic is a fast-paced urban fantasy adventure starring a kick butt heroine, a powerful hero, and magic that will blow your socks off.

description

Before becoming a writer, Linsey was an archaeologist who studied shipwrecks in all kinds of water, from the tropics to muddy rivers (and she has a distinct preference for one over the other). After a decade of tromping around in search of old bits of stuff, she settled down to start penning her own adventure novels and is freaking delighted that people seem to like them. Since life is better with a little (or a lot of) magic, she writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance.

It's always a joy to read anything by this author as she uses her considerable imagination to mix history with mythology and I'm never quite sure where her characters will journey to . This is the last story that is just about Ana but with her sister Rowan waiting in the wings so to speak we obviously have more stories about the Protectorate to follow. For now though it's a race against time as Ana struggles to foil the Roman Fates but she's about the be tested in unexpected ways all whilst finally discovering exactly what she is destined to become.
What is there to say about this story that hurdles from one problem to another at breakneck speed? Well if I say Ana has a hellish experience then you can probably guess that the author pulls all the stops out this time. I loved how her powers are explained and it felt right to bring something so original and yet at the same time ancient to this world. I freely admit that Lachlan whilst clearly a lovely guy has never really seemed to set the pages on fire but seeing him through Ana's eyes I could believe in their love and relationship. For me though best of all was seeing favourite characters make their appearance and I can honestly say if it's exciting adventures you seek then this author never disappoints.
This voluntary take is of an advance copy and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

Race to beat the Fates.

Ana is trying to save her friends from the Fates.
To beat the Fates she needs to find the Doomsday stone and destroy it, good news is they know where it is, bad news it’s in Dante’s Inferno. Can she get to Hell and back, find the stone and save herself and her friends? Believe and risk are her answers.
Lindsay has another hit and I can’t wait for Rowan’s story.

Caro wasn't supposed to leave the protectorate but she went with Ana and Lachlan to the blood sorceress to check the spell that bound her to the Fates. The sisters didn't even charge them, but took them to the well of power under their house to look at the spell. They passed through some tests to proof that they had no mean to harm the sisters then Caro was submerged into water and Ana immediately jumped in too in order to help her. Immediately, she felt excruciating pain and it felt even worse when Lachlan rescued her. Someway, somehow, she obtained Caro's cursed and now, she was under the spell that made her the Fate's slave. The blood sorceress gave her some kind of spell that prevent that but it could only work for a week and fortunately, they found out who made the spell that imbued it.

It was the Indomidae people and they could be found through if you went through a whirlpool called Corryvreckan that was also a portal. After Ana passed out, they returned back to the protectorate and she felt a pull to the stone's circle and Sulis came and told her that she got the power of The Morrigan, the Celtic goddess of fates and war. Then they went to some demon city, because it was the closest point to the whirlpool, look for the Seamstress, just like Jude said. They found her, she made Ana a magic-proof jacket out of nowhere, and then told them to find Fearan who would take the across, with a price.

They sailed the sea to the whirlpool, faced the usual challanges (hellstorm, kraken-like seaweed, almost drowned, rescued by mermaid, almost sank) until finally they found the whirlpool and finally arrived. Another hooded figure escorted them to rest for the night, and the next morning, he took them to a chamber where they would face their fear and met with the Elders. The elders told them story of a selkie woman who was kidnapped and then forced to be a jerk's wife until one day she escaped, and created the family she wanted. however, the jerk was even more bitter because of it and he joined a hunt to kill seals, who turned out to be the selkie woman's husband and kids. She was mad and cursed the town.

Suddenly, Ana saw the events unfolded in front of her and she suddenly found a power that allowed her to alter the past. she fought the jerk and he accidentally killed himself, then the Elders summoned her back and said that like the Fates, Ana could change fate and they were using the Doomsday Spell to enslave the powerful supernaturals to wrack havocs and they only needed the Doomsday Stone in order to activate it, but the stone was somewhere at the bottom of Dante's Inferno, so they had to retrieve it first and destroy it. But of course Muffin knew where it was because he'd been there (that was where he met Princess and Bojangles) and they went to hell.

They went to the second circle, cross the sandstorm with some caravan and fought some souls then found the shortcut to the fourth circle. They crossed to some gold-boulder rain and met with Plutus, Greek god of wealth, who gave them sword to fight some fighters in River Styx. Then they went down to level seven and chatted with some talking tree when the harpies came.

there, they saw the Devil sleeping and found the stone but it already missed half of it. then Dante Alighieri (nice, the author managed to antagonized a great author. jealous much?) appeared and said that he was in league with the Fates and he hid the other part of the stone inside the castle, that was why the Fates didn't even bother to come to hell. Dante woke up the Devil but they managed to escape and went to the protectorate, which was under attacked. the demons managed to broke through the wall because they found a weak spot and immediately, the member who was under influence of the Fates were their slave and lots of the members died.

Ana couldn't accept this so she turned back time but the Fate realized this and got mad (this was when it was stupid. why didn't they just changed fate too. what kind of fate it was. stupid). then she told Jude and others to protect that part of the castle while Ana, Bree, Rowan, Lachlan, and Cass looked for the stone. they found it somewhere underground, but the castle protected it, so only Arach could retrieve it in her dragon form and Ana destroyed it with (as the author said) all of her magic (but she still got more to kill the Fates). after that, they immediately fight and Ana managed to got rid of Fates, again with 'all' of her magic, all of the protectorate members were fine and none of them died, they were free, and ana graduated from the academy. boring -_-

The Celtic pantheon is more obscure and less widely known than the Norse, Greek and Egyptian ones, but I’m not sure if that explains the lack of clarity in this novel particularly, and the series in general. The plot action jumps from one scene to the next leaving so many whys in its wake. Nor does Ana being the cautious one of the sisters (though that trait comes and goes) help matters. Adding to the confusion is the central conflict between the Celt and Roman pantheons. That makes enormous sense historically, but in practice, the Greek pantheon so overshadows the Roman in most people’s minds that what is distinctive about Roman mythology is largely unknown (even if culturally we use the Roman equivalent names more often). Hall doesn’t even give the Fates their Roman names, so every time they appeared I thought of them as Greek. Throwing in several events more tied to the Roman Catholic Church, Dante and things generally Italian more than Roman made it more muddled.

Ana as a character was harder to warm up to, and the pace of action gave little opportunity for her relationship to Lachlan to develop in a way that made the reader care when they finally come together. The section that best illustrates the lack of clarity is with the Indomidae. We are never told who they are, why they created the spell that is causing so much harm, or how the Fates and others ever learned about it since they are in a hidden realm with no apparent ties to this one. When we learn they are the makers of this evil we assume they are evil, too. Those In Demonville live in terror of them. What we get is extraordinarily different with absolutely no explanation. It’s just testing Ana and then here’s what you have to do. Now off with you!

Ana and Lachlan finally declaring their love is so last minute and vague that it left me thinking they maybe did the deed but left that open to doubt. While it is the same dynamic in all 6 Dragon Gift series I’ve read it is so emphatic in this one that in the list of Ana’s loved ones Lachlan comes last. By the end I was feeling sorry for him.

Finally, since I read Rowan’s series first, this is my final read with the Blackwoods. Does anyone else find it strange that the term triplets never comes up? It was only after Bree’s comment to Ana in her series that she was just minutes older that I stopped trying to find other reasons for 3 sisters being the same age but not referring to themselves as triplets. Every pair of twins I ever met spoke of their twinness as a defining characteristic, if not just to them, but in how others thought of them. How could that not be so for the rarer occurrence of triplets?

Content: this series is VERY light on romance. I wouldn’t even put it in that category. Yes there is a romance between Ana and Lachlan but it it by no means a main plot in the story. There are only a couple of kissing scenes in the whole series and any thing more then that happens behind closed doors so to speak and is barely even implied.

I honestly read this series in like 2 days as I was laid up in bed to sick to do anything. This is the first series I’ve read by this author so I missed the first series in this collection. That being said I don’t think it affected my enjoyment in the book. I did miss out on understanding some of the characters better but it didn’t affect the story line.
I enjoyed this series. It was recommended as a paranormal romance which I don’t think it is but it was still be really good. The works the author created was incredible. I loved that she weaves the Celtic myths and gods from our history so seamlessly into this new world. I enjoyed Ana. She was strong, brave and loyal. Same with Lachlan. They were able to get through this battle together because they leaned and trusted each other so much. The ending of the book lacked a little for me. When all was said and done it was just that. Done. A get together at the local pub and a slap on the back. I guess I was just hoping for a little more then that with Ana and Lachlan. With them going through so much together I guess apart of me just wanted a little more. Regardless it didn’t change my rating of the books.
I didn’t stop and review every book in the series. I just read straight through so I’m not going to break down my review for each book. The gist of it is there is a great evil in this world that is trying to destroy it. Ana and Lachlan, along with her sisters and friends must stop that. Trial after trial, puzzle after puzzle Ana and Lachlan face it together. I really enjoyed when Bree and Rowan (the sisters) joined in the search by Ana’s side because there was a great dynamic between the 3. Ana coming into her magic was a good ride as well. Her magic could be a little confusing at times and other times I wondered why she didn’t use a different skill or search more about her power. But it was a faced paced story and I don’t think it would have fit into it as well. This author wove a world that I was sucked into and really enjoyed. I will definitely be reading more of her books.

Doomsday Magic is the fifth and final book in The Druid Series, the fifth subseries of Linsey Hall’s Dragon’s Gift series. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and if you’re a regular reader of this series I’m certain you will too. My problem is I don’t really know how to give you a review without giving away the entire story because in the Dragon’s Gift series the author has a certain outline she sticks to unerringly. Each series is five books long. Each book gives us approximately the same portion of the heroine’s journey from modestly powerful magical to god like power she uses to save the world. So here we are again in the final book of a series. Bree completed her transformation to The Valkyrie in the previous series. This is Ana’s story. In this series Ana is The Warrior Druid and in this the final book she must complete several dangerous, deadly, challenges to access all of her dragongod powers and the information she needs to defeat her enemy the Roman Fates intent on destroying the world. Joining her in the final battle will be her sisters Bree and Rowan and Bree’s lover Cade the Celtic war god, her boyfriend Lachlan the powerful shifter/mage, her familiars the Cats of Catastrophe, and the three Firesouls who formed the original trio in the first series along with their powerful, as Ana puts it, “boyfriends, fiancées’, partners or whatever they are?” (Seriously Linsey at this point in the series Cass, Del and Nix have been with their men for years. They must be getting into their mid-thirties. Isn’t it about time they made their relationships official and started making little magicals?). Ana is a great heroine. While she has a unique personality all of her own she also share the same traits of a strong moral compass, bravery and determination as the other heroines in previous series have. Her adventures and the final battle are riveting. And thank the fates at the end she finally becomes a full fledged member of the Underground Protectorate working on the P.I.T.s team with her sister Bree. She only has one piece of unfinished business left that involves Lachlan as her story closes. But that children is a story for another day.

I do not understand why the characters didn’t go straight to Roarke the moment they found out they’d need to go to Hell. He is, after all, Warden of the Underworlds, and he should have been able to give them some sort of aid or advice. I was also disappointed to find out that Hall gave another character (Ana) a time-turning ability. The ability to turn back time–particularly when it’s limited to a small area so you have to worry about how it interacts with the rest of the world–is pretty much a walking plot-hole generator.

The action quotient is delightful, as always. We get to see our favorite blood sorceresses again. There’s a deadly gigantic whirlpool that Ana and Lachlan have to sail through. There are trials and tests to be won. Ana gets her final powers and finds out she can shape-shift into a giant crow. The characters fight harpies, make alliances with sentient trees, trek through sandstorms in Hell, get aid from gods, and speak with Dante himself (who used to belong to the Protectorate). It turns out the first heist the Cats of Chaos ever ran was on the fourth level of Hell, so they know a few shortcuts to help our heroes get where they’re going. I love how much the Cats get involved in the goings-on, and hairless, winged Muffin makes such a hilarious and wonderful cheering section when the situation gets dire. As always, there are hundreds of demons to kill.

I loved the climactic battle in this one. Hell, I love the climactic battles in all but one of the books, because they’re Hall’s major strength. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of the next set of five books come out (Rowan’s sub-series) so that I can continue this series!

Linsey Never Disappoints!

A good ending to Ana's series. I definitely would not have guessed her final power would be what/who it was. I didn't think that god actually had that ability. Regardless, it was interesting & I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Linsey has a gift for pulling you into the world she has created. I suffer from chronic pain & each of her books provides a bit of distraction for the hour or so that it takes to read it. I've been frustrated with UF books lately, I just can't seem to get into them, and that has never been the case with any of Ms. Hall's books. Her characters are strong, kicka** women with snarky attitudes that you can't help but love and laugh at.

I'm assuming that Rowan will have her series next even though there was no mention of it. I'd also love to see a couple of books about Mordeca and Arceda (I don't think I spelled her name correctly). They've been around since Cass's first book and as we see them more frequently I realized I'd love to see their back story and maybe even a situation similar to these series where they have to triumph over some evil and work with all of our favorite characters. Just a thought.

I'd definitely recommend this series, and while you can essentially start the various series anywhere (each series is 5 books), I'd recommend starting with Cass's series first- Dragon's Gift. It's probably my favorite out of all of the books set in this universe, and it introduces most all of the various characters that pop up in the subsequent books.

Anytime you need a proofreader or beta reader Ms. Hall, I'm here!

Doomsday Magic Linsey Hall

I received an Advanced copy of this Book in exchange for an Honest Review:
I have loved this whole series that continues to grow and expand much to my delight. Now to this one, the final book on Ana from Death Valley Fame. She is the second to the last Sister to finally achieve her Dragon God Gift, but not quite in the manner I would have seen in my mind. The Three Fate Sisters (minus one) are still trying to kill all of them, and have branded almost everyone in the Protectorate, draining them of Magic, and without special ingredients to protect them for short periods of time, they are only safe inside the walls. Should the unprotected ones venture out to try to help solve the mystery of how the Fates have achieved this feat, and find who gave them the rare Magic to do this, they will all become slaves to the Fates, or killed. Ana, her Boyfriend Lachlan, and the Cats of Catastrophe indulge in many Exciting adventures from Whirlpools, to Demon Cities, To Old Ships, to the Bowels of Hell it's-self to find the answers both to her final ascension to Dragon God, and to save her Family, and extended Friends, from destruction of life as they have come to know it. I truly hope her Sister Rowan is the next in this wonderful Dragon's Gift adventure to come to her own powers again, but only the mind of the Author knows what lies ahead, and I can't wait.

I really enjoyed this series overall, but I actually have a lil ridiculous thing to say.

One thing about this series that actually irks me (and not in the "it's predictable but fun" way) is that the main couple is always presented as being soulmates, destined, whatever, but then the woman is never ready to do the deed. I know it's a ridiculous complaint, but you go through life and death situations together, are sooooooo in love with each other, but just never enough to "feel ready" to have sex?

Not saying the progress needs to be the same with every couple but I have already read 5 series in the universe including this one and it's been the same situation in all of them. I would have actually liked that every couple's progress is different in this aspect, but maybe at least have some variety (also I am aware not everyone might WANT to have sex, i'm only going off characters in this series where they do want to just are not ready)?

Ofc there are more book series so it might change later but for now I feel like after 5 series it is time to mention this weird tidbit. Not sure if the author tried to go for clean romances, but you can always just fade to dark. But it's sort of weird considering their dynamics, and also yeah, not every couple's progress needs to be the same.

Doomsday Magic Dragons Gift the Druid Book 5
Linsey Hall
How do you break a really, super strong, magical curse laid on by the Fates, that could force every member of the Protectorate to be their slaves? Why you start with Blood Sorceresses Aerdeca and Mordaca, of course! And why do you have to go to Darklane in Magics Bend, Oregon? Because that is where Aerdeca and Mordaca ply their trade, and where their magic was strongest. Sweating now? You should be and don’t touch anything!
Ana, Druid Dragon God, was royally screwed. Oh, she had saved Caro, and the other Protectorate members were still okay, ….for now… but at what cost? Who were these Indomidae and how do we get to the Corryveckan Whirlpool? And where the heck did these vivid dreams keep coming from? I had wings and was flying, what the….I was a Warrior Goddess and a Battle Crow. WOW!
Thus starts a race, against time, the Fates, and to gain Ana’s magic, fully and completely. But oh!!! The adventures that crop up along the way! Lachlan, Bree, Rowan the whole gang from Magics Bend, Aerdeca, Mordaca all are on deck for the finale!
I was given an ARC but the Review is mine freely given

I've been anticipating the conclusion of this story from the get go and it's finally here! This conclusion of this story arc is everything I wanted and more - there is romance, grand declarations, family and friend bonds, unexpected powers, a trip to Hell, betrayal, and an epic fight! I mean what more could you have wanted? I love that one of the big themes in this book in particular seems to be, in my opinion, believing in yourself and taking a chance. I don't know why this theme resonated so much with me but it really struck a cord with me and I loved it's inclusion. There always seems to be a subtle theme attached to Linsey's characters, and I love it! Now I'm desperate to get my hands on Rowan's story. I'm so super intrigued to find out what is happening with her, her powers and memories, and to finally, FINALLY get to read her feelings and thoughts on her situation. Rowan seems like such a kick-ass character who may have some real emotional hurdles to jump (my opinion only) and I'm super excited to experience them with her.

Dragons Gift the Druid series 1-5

I love Linsey Hall, her books bring you everything, a bit of love, magic, both good and evil, a good battle and cool powers, is written and set in the British Iles, ok, Scotland, but still on home turf!
I love the fact that it includes The FireSouls and all the characters from those books.
Now obviously, we've had all of Bree's story, and I've got to say, that Linsey just keeps giving, I love the archeological details that she uses from her earlier life, and with each character you get different history, different characters that, despite not always, ( if ever, ) being linked in any way, shape or form, play very well together!
We even get twists in the stories! I mean, who can ask for more?
Role on Rowen's stories, the only problem is, following these book's of awesomeness, is of course, the end.
But, all great things must come to an end, unfortunately! 😉

I’m getting a total kick out of Linsey Hall’s Dragon's Gift: The Druid series and in Doomsday Magic, it’s fifth book, things are getting serious. Yes, Ana and has rescued her friends from the Roman Fates, but all of them have been tattooed with a curse that will make them slaves of the Fates - and pretty early on in the book Ana suffers the same fate. Don’t worry though as this is Ana Blackwood we are talking about and there’s not much this kick-a** gal can’t handle. Another epic adventure with magical whirlpool portals, cool new folks (the Indomidae), an equally epic battle and even a bit of romance (hello Lachlan., you yumminess). Frankly, but for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review my husband from my hospital bed, I could go on and on with praises - the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

Really good!

Not perfect, but really good. Ana finally gets all her Dragon God magic and defeats the Roman Fates. I'm not sure exactly why, but I had a hard time paying attention to this last book. It was overly complicated in the middle, and I put it down for several weeks. That being said, it was a mostly satisfying end to the series. Truthfully, I enjoyed the first trilogy much more. Bree, Ana & Rowan were minor characters in those books that got their own stories. The hera's journey is generally the same every time; a crisis happens, the hera must go someplace, gather allies, develop powers, pass various tests, then head back to save her loved ones. Or variations on that theme. The scenery was beautifully described, the dialog witty, the characters evolved like they should. So, advice: I liked it. The author has talent. I think it's worth buying. I did. You might like it too!

Yes, this is Ana’s last book, and I’m sad. Well, really, I’m not that sad because this book was a great send-off to her. And, up next is Rowan. I’m so excited to finally see her in the spotlight. Anyway, just as the first books in Ana’s series, we are taken on a great adventure to stop the Fates from winning and to save the Protectorate employees, including Ana herself who gets into quite a pickle. The author grabs you by the throat and won’t let go until the very end. I never find the author’s books boring; I always find them well-written, fun, and full of great characters. Truly, I don’t know what to say that I haven’t said before in reviews about the other books in the series. I loved this latest and you will, too! Highly recommend! I was provided the e-book which I voluntarily reviewed.

Go to Hell!

Has someone ever made you so angry that all you could say was, "Go straight to hell!" As Ana learns her new powers and how to control them, she finds that that she had to make that trip. She and her powerful boyfriend plus those infamous Cats of Catastrophe go on a journey fraught with danger beyond anything they've faced before. Along the way Ana discovers that she has a new power, one that might be just what they need to save their world. This is the 5th book in Ana's tale. I recommend reading them in order. You won't want to miss a second of Ana's journey to becoming a full Dragon God. Kudos Ms. Hall on creating a world where all of your characters mesh effortlessly and combine to form a cohesive story of magic, mayhem and for some redemption. I look forward to reading more from Lindsy Hall, soon!

Another great book

This book has some amazing fights, real tension, and a fabulous story line. So many brilliant events it's hard to write a review without huge spoiler alerts.
It was so gripping I read it under two hours and couldn't stop for food or a bathroom break
The only hard but is finishing and being brought back to the real world, but only for a while......I've let Linsey write so many books that I can enjoy a binge read and get right up to date, this way I don't have that impatient wait for the next adventure
If you love magic, love a mix of real world and hidden magical world, if you love a bit of romance and battles then this author and her many books are just what you need in your life

Not my favorite series, but this was a good ending for Ana

I wasn't all that fond of either the Valkyrie series or this Druid series. Because of that, I'm not sure if I'll go on to the third sister's (Rowan) Amazon series. I've also started the Sorceress series....and that may be my main issue---there are just SO many series by Ms Hall. My first and favorite series remains the Mythean. It is less YA than the other series, so it could be that I was spoiled early on.

I would prefer longer books, more adult romance, and more variety of Heroine personalities. But since these books are reasonably entertaining, I will likely continue with at least some of the remaining series.

Ana and Lachlan search for the Doomsday stone they need to get there before the evil Fates do

I found another rollicking adventure Fighting evil, traveling to the lower all levels of hell just to find a piece of the Doomsday Stone. The catastrophe cats come in handy here as they are the only ones that know their way around hell and the shortcuts as time is so important to be successful. They're in a race against the evil Fates as usual and they must succeed or else their friends will be slaves forever. Unfortunately hell doesn't house the entire Stone just a piece they must find the missing piece in the castle of the protectorate. In order to destroy the stone they have to get the two pieces together back into one.

This was the final book in the series The Druid. It was spectacular and I loved every word of it. Linsey Hall is a most impressive author whose books never fail to captivate and entertain this reader. This story wraps up the tale of the Fates and their attempt to regain their power and rule over the Protectorate and all creatures of magic. To defeat them Ana must travel to lowest levels of Hell to retrieve a stone the Fates need to complete their Doomsday Curse. And she must become her whole self, accepting all of her Druid powers. She discovers she possesses the spirit of the warrior Morrigan and can transform into a giant battle crow.

Jena O’Connor and Lindsey Loucks, calling you out

After something like 8-10 of these books by now, I'm finally catching the culprits of the biggest reason these books hang in the 3-star category for me. These editors were either working with AWFUL manuscripts or are just utterly blind at all of the redundant uses of phrases and descriptions and otherwise just sloppy writing. It's a shame too because these books really do tend to have a clipping pace and pretty original action (even if the interactions and relationships AREN'T always the most original).

I'm off to see how Rowan FINALLY gets some attention now (and how many repeating offenses are used over her series).

Really dumb things happened in the book.

Ana researched the gods when she first discovered she was of the Celtic pantheon. How could she not have read or heard of the Morrigan after all that? Hated that. The Morrigan is the most famous god in that pantheon. Crappy oversight.

Why didn’t Ana talk to Roarke, Warden of the Underworld, before going to Dante’s Inferno, especially since Muffin has not been there in a while? It was like a wasted journey.

How was Aracha able to tell there was a foreign object at the castle only at the end when it was there for eons? Explanations did not make sense.

Wow, another outstanding magical fantasy with a touch of romance. This ongoing story is the finale of Ana's story. It's amazing how Ms. Halls imagination with additions of folklore to give readers these awesome stories. Lachlan, who is a powerful mage shifter, stands beside Ana as she adds to her magic as a druid. I have thoroughly enjoyed Ana's story and look forward to the beginning of Ronan's saga. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Hall.

A nice ending

As far as I can tell, Doomsday Magic ends the story of the second sister, Ana, and her journey to become a full Druid and Dragon God. The author's comment in the postscript about hoping that we return for Rowan's story tends to confirm my supposition. However, I have been known to be periodically wrong, so take my guess for whatever you believe it to be worth.

All in all, this book is a fun, rip-roaring read right until Ana and her sisters save the world once more. I recommend it for a lazy fall day. I hope you enjoy it.
