i am so damn disappointed in this book. it had a fucking great idea and it gets ruined because it seems the author descided to just give up coming up with a fucking plot 1/3rd the way through the book.
no. why. why!?
i doubt i'll finish this series but you never know. i'm a sucker when giving second chances as you guys have seen with other series that i wasted my time on.
i want to go on and on but i'm still a mess of disappointment.

This is the second book about the Aurelians, their triad, and their search for their fated mates. This story is about Korgath, an Aurelian crime boss for the last 200 years, that rose through the ranks to now own half of the real estate and businesses on Titus. He has been ruthless in his mission, but it might not be what you think it is. Juliana is a stubborn, proud and independent female that has been working in the rough and tough field of mining. She is not going to willingly submit to any male and will fight to the death if need be.
Here is a high level overview of how the story begins:
Juliana is a mining ship captain that learned from her father. A few years ago she made a tragic mistake that caused her to have her face changed and start a new life on the run. She now captains a small vessel that needs a lot of repairs, but she has found a way to make some upgrades that allow her the ability to mine precious metals from asteroids. She is in deep space mining an asteroid when her ship takes on some damage and is approached by a very large mining vessel that was pirated. They capture her ship and crew, and would have gang raped her had they not discovered she was still a virgin. Juliana is determined to do what she has to until she can escape. While they were in the process of taking her to their holding cells, Juliana gets an opportunity and takes out two of the guards before being subdued again.
Virgins are prized by Aurelians in their search for their fated mate, that special female that can bond to them and the only one with the ability to get pregnant with their heir. The pirates then sell her to Xeres, who recently started slave trading on Titus. There she will be 'beautified' and placed on the auction block to be sold as a sex slave. Juliana has not given up on the idea of escape, she is hoping to lull her new 'owner' into a sense of complacency.
Korgath had done a lot of despicable things in the last 200 years, but there were some lines he wouldn't cross ... until now. Xeres won't do business with any one that he doesn't trust. So now Korgath has to purchase a 'slave' so that he can become a business partner and help with the transportation. So he attends the auction and becomes focused on the fiery human female.
I am going to stop there so I don't accidentally provide one of the many twists and turns of the story.

Julianna is a pilot and is off with her two cohorts mining for platinum. They are put upon by a ship and to save their pilot the two men tell them she;s a virgin. She;s taken to a planet where she will be sold at auction. There she;s bought by KORGATH, a hotshot criminal whose deeds strike fear in everyone. To try to get to Mr X, he goes to the auction and there sees a defiant human female which he buys. He takes her to his place and lets her see that he is an undercover agent who has been in deep for over 200 years. He;s looking to get more solid evidence to take down Mr X. He has a plan that he doesn;t reveal to Juliana until he tell Mr X what he wants to do. Then he decides it;s time to go back to his blood brothers who form his triad. When there his brothers are just as enthralled with her as he is. Now to get the evidence and try to convince the little feisty spitfire that she is their bonded mate.
Oh my goodness. This story is totally exciting and will enthrall you once again into the Aurelians universe.

Love the storyline....
This is first book by Corin Cain that I’ve read and even though it is the second book in the Aurelian warrior series it was very easy to read and even though the characters from the first book are mentioned in this one it wasn’t too hard to follow.
Juliana is a first rate pilot who can pretty much fly anything but when she is caught by pirates after a dangerous manoeuvre that didn’t quite work she is sold into slavery but when she is found to be a virgin her price just went up. And she is a fighter and Juliana will not give up with out a fight.
Korgath is a crime boss who runs his cartel with iron fist but the one thing he is against is slavery and wants to shut it down but when he goes to an auction he can’t seem to help himself and bids on Juliana and he gets more than he bargains for..
I quite enjoyed the storyline and have to admit that I will probably read the first book very soon..very enjoyable read.

The author manages to keep each of these books very different even though they are following the same race of aliens who all hold the hope of finding their destined mate to be shared in a triad. One great idea that is kept the same is the empowerment of the female mate, she may have found herself in a "slave" predicament, but the author encourages her to stand on her own to feet, encourages her to be strong. Even when she becomes the 4th in the alien's triad, and their entire focus narrows down to mating and breeding (can only breed with their fated and many of these aliens have been alive hundreds of years desperately trying to find their fated) especially in this story, the woman still manages to maintain her own self worth.

This is my 1st read and review for this author and what a fantastic read it is. I’m not going to give any spoilers because I don’t think that I can do this book any justice yes people it’s that good, but if you want to know more then read Corbin’s blurb and that will give you the gist to this story. There’s action, danger, suspense, slavery, ménage’s, passion and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. I loved this story and who wouldn’t want sexy aliens fawning all over them?. ✋🏼 me me you see my hand is up lol. A fantastic story a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

An intense and exciting read! This is a fantastic story filled with exciting elements that will draw you in. Juliana's back story itself in enough to get you started. Korgath as a bad guy was harder to believe though. He was inconsistent or bi-polar, but was still a great character to follow. The book itself is too chunky, weighed down with too much description and pages of text that felt more repetitive than helpful to the story. I'll admit that I skimmed some of it while reading it. The story is solid with a great plot throughout, it is just too wordy in places. I'd still highly recommend reading it though.

Good and bad at the same time
The storyline is very good. Personalities are believable and style of writing engaging.
But the whole BDSM premise? I know it is supposed to be empowering for women to accept their urges but I kept wondering what if one of them really is not submissive? It’s not like all women are submissive at heart!?
And I am always a bit iffy with the idea of 7ft tall alien. At that size sex would be painful without pleasure. In this case, size matters the wrong way. Would it be any less believable if Aurelian were 6ft tall? Or is it written somewhere there that a woman becomes immediately and only submissive if a man is 7ft tall???

So good! Another great book in this series. Only one of the triad was in most of the book. He was a powerful man in the alien cartel. Kargoth ends up going to a human female slave auction. He was looking for a wild woman with fight in her. Not a docile one. And he did find one. She ends up being his mate.
She finally gets to meet the rest of his triad. They are in awe of her.
I loved how her triad worshipped their mate. They were so loving. I was so jealous. Ha ha
The end of the book took us into their future lives so we can see where they were in life. That's my favorite part. Thanks for another great book Corin!

This is the sequel to Sold to the Alien Gladiators, a book that I loved reading. So I have been watching out for anything else written by this author. This is a very good storyline with an Aurelian warrior policeman going undercover (for 200 years) to become a vicious crime lord set to eventually take down the number one sex trade crime lord in their galaxy. And then he finds his mate on the auction block and things just got more complicated A steamy mmmf romance with some erotic bdsm play.

The next story of the alien race of Aurelians. Aa all male race that is only now finding their bonded mates. Most of the males are part of a triad, three males that bond together as brothers. If they should find the one female that is meant for them, they would all bond and mate her. But this male race likes to bring out the s/m of relationships. So expect a lot of dominance, especially when one male is an infamous crime boss. But one female pilot who knows her way around ships and rays, may make him work for it.

BDSM isn't my thing but this was still a wildly enjoyable read! The heroine was spunky and the hero true. I picked this up not realising it was a menage and was pleased it was three-for-one! Other readers may feel that Arok and Brutan came in too late and didn't get enough character development, but I was still nevertheless happy with their addition. I haven't read book one yet so the ending wasn't as impactful as intended. I wasn't completely satisfied which is why I'm giving this book 4.5 stars. Otherwise a wild read!

I lost all track of time reading this book.... being a female miner isnt easy but shes doing well until her and her crew are ambushed and captured abd she is sold into slavery. Not knowing what to expect but expecting the worst she still never expected to be brought but the mobster alien boss.. but will she submit abd fight until the end read this book to find out. I enjoy this book.

I have the first book four stars, but this one deserves five.
I like the premise, reverse harem (who wouldn't), but some terms she uses like ' slut' to describe the heroines, and aliens and beasts to refer to her bonded mates. With prejudice on both sides, alien is understandable. But slut, because she wants to be with them. Not mates instead of brutal beasts.
Maybe she thinks women are sluts because we like sex? Just seems immature...

Wonderful
Once again a brilliant book from one of my favourite authors. I thought I’d read all of the books in this series, but I must have missed this one. Needless to say I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone who likes reading sci fi romance stories. This author has a way of bringing her characters to life, her stories exciting and the sex scenes ‘wow’. Read these books and enjoy.

This was a great story. It was well written and fast paced. The chemistry between the characters was sizzling hot. This book has everything you need to keep you turning pages hot sexy men, steamy scenes and some conflict thrown in. I can't wait for what this author writes next.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the 1st 2 books in this series. Waiting to read the next one. I love the strong willed women and although the men are so demanding they are very loving and care for their mate. Corbin Cain have written some very believable stories. Hope there's many more for her to write.

This alien romance is everything I want in a book and then some. The characters were intriguing as was the storyline. The storyline made me salivate with anticipation then swoon in reaction. Such a hot read. I loved it.
