This book haunts me.

I read it during a month where my laptop had melted down for about the seven thousandth time. It was summer. I had run out of new books to read, and it sat in a pile of (unread) books (mostly romance novels) a family member had kindheartedly lent me, thinking I would enjoy.

I think about the line "the chimera of her skirts" almost daily. It will not leave me alone. What does that mean. What does any of it mean.

The sex was confusing. I think at one point he was a panther and she was a swan. How did it work. How does any of this work. Why was Gollum's z-movie brother there?

This book is something that happens to you.
