As a prison counselor, Daniel Dickens is no stranger to odd encounters with inmates. But when a particularly aggressive prisoner enters his office claiming that his session with a priest left him "fulfilled," Danny, who has led an unsatisfying life, has to know more. During their meeting, Danny finds there's little he can hide from this mysterious clergyman, and when an offer comes his way, he'll have to make a decision that will change his life forever...
Super cool prequel. I never really thought about how all these characters meet. I kind of assumed the Priest search his angels out from the beginning since he obviously the leader with the plan. I like seeing how Cathy and Daniel have to pretend in the real world, never letting their masks truly fall, but always seeing their twisted, sick gears spinning behind the mask. The eyes are the best in these series, conveying so much with a single glance. And the use of shadows and light is really cool.
I picked up this manga after it caught my eye in my "local" comic shop (two towns away). Honestly it took a while for me to process and get it into but I overall enjoyed it a lot! Especially because of dear Danny's fascination with eyes. The concept of this series is really intriguing and I can't wait to continue reading it. For the first volume however I feel like it's quite fast paced. Both a negative and a positive i suppose. The art style and the overall illustration is magnificent! Truly a fun read in the middle of school
I love a good prequel, especially when it focuses on the back stories of side charactors or the construction of the main environtment and this so far is doing both.
„inteligent eyes in a hunger-pang frame” - it’s so dr Danny to sum up these characters i would have to quote a big part of ‚satisfied’ from hamilton musical
Any Angels of Death fan needs to read Episode Zero. It explains so many things that weren't included in the game, manga, or show that really piece the entire story together.
