Read it as a child and totally loved it - found it recently in my old stuff and skimmed it again and it is still as awesome and still as inspiring as it was when I first read it as a kid.
It's one of the books that inspired me to get into tech and it's still one of the most straightforward and well written books I've ever read in my opinion.
Please please please do read it if you can - it's just awesome!
Written in the early '90s and translated from French - a very well-researched but accessible narrative about the early days of Gates, Microsoft, and the sofware market.
This is a nice introduction regarding the story of Bill Gates and the making of Microsoft. It shares the struggles and challenges Bill had in the beginning, and I'm always amazed how leaders like Bill Gates are motivated to build empires like Microsoft. It's a good read.
