St. ♥ Dragon Girl is a great magical girl manga. Unlike many others, there is more focus on Momoka’s martial arts skills rather than her magic. Its characters are engaging, and the plot moves at a good pace. The story has a good balance of romance, comedy, and adventure. The story is appropriate for both older children and younger teens, and it will appeal to fans of manga like Sailor Moon or Cardcaptor Sakura. The series is complete at which makes it both a short read and a good introduction to manga for the unfamiliar as the reader will not have to wait to find out how the story ends. Overall, I give it four out of five stars.
I can't decide if I should rate this 3 or 3.5 stars.
This is the first volume where the art has improved (in the previous volumes, it was inconsistent, sometimes it was cute, sometimes not, although as I've said in my reviews of the previous books, the dragons and double page spreads were always the prettiest pages and they still are).
Finally, Ryuga isn't as annoying as he was in previous volumes.
This is my 200th book of 2025!🎉 I didn't just read manga, I read some novels as well (although it was mostly manga this year because since last year I've been trying to shrink my physical tbr, it's gotten ridiculous.
So beautiful and amazing! Such suspense and action! I am so in love with this series! I hope I can get my hands on the next one soon. I wish the libraries could open up! We miss it so much!
As with the previous instalments, volume four has some absolutely beautiful character designs and artwork. Empress Youka, Kaiou Shinkun and Gyokurei look incredible! The detail, particularly on the merpeople, is just amazing! I also really love the personification of Momoka’s dragon. I’m so glad to have discovered this series and, although cliche at times, it’s a fun and enjoyable read. Not to mention the tense second half involving the Black Dragon (the Yin to the Kou families Yang) and Yutengenyo that had me hooked with its twist. I’m really loving this series and particularly like the chemistry between Momoka and Ryuga, as well as the other secondary characters like Shunran and Touya. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

A bit iffy at the beginning. It's the type of manga that switches plot lines often but keeps the same basic one. This usually annoys me but with this manga it simply made it cutsie and easy to read. The art is by far my favorite. Pretty but kawaii as well. Momoka can be annonying but she;'s okay most of the time and, face it, Ryuga is just plain fun. All in all, this manga is one of the better ones!
Wow, really enjoyed this volume, so good, love the storyline and characters, and it really keeps my interest and alot happened and I love how Momoka and Ryuga came closer with each other too : ) can't wait to read vol.5! : ) definitely love this manga series and definitely recommend it! : )
