Lots of great recipes in this book. I'm basically addicted to the chocolate peanut butter overnight oats based on how many times per week I make it - prob my fave recipe ever for overnight oats.

I LOVE this lady! I’m glad I found her youtube channel. I was a vegetarian for years but I wanted to go vegan. I can’t stand mile long recipes and ingredients that I’ve either never heard of or can’t pronounce. Enter Liv B. I have made so many of her recipes and not only are they yummy, they are easy! She uses normal ingredients and doesn’t shy away from comfort foods. She has a lot of good base recipes that you can either add or subtract ingredients to your preference but you don’t have to spend $$$. I actually enjoy cooking AND being a vegan thanks to her! I just got her book and already made her Red Pepper Fettuccini Pasta recipe.😋 Next time I’ll add a jalapeño or 1 habanero, because I love spicy food, but it was definitely a win and it made 4 meals! I can’t wait to try another recipe. Even my meat loving husband admits he likes her recipes.❤️

Packed full of delicious recipes, this vegan cookbook is full of ideas for anyone wanting easy meals that are healthy for you and the planet! I love how the recipes are simple, without intimidatingly long lists or hard-to-find ingredients, and they all look fantastic! Not only are all the classics included, like pasta sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy, breakfast tea biscuits, cinnamon rolls, and pizza, but the author included some unique and tantalizing recipes too. I'm particularly excited for the mini chocolate lava pancakes and half baked cookie dough pancakes (can you ever have too many pancakes?) along with her chocolate chip banana bread in a mug and chocolate raspberry mini cakes. Her famous lasagna soup is sure to be a hit too along with her Pad Thai and Dragon noodles. Did I mention she has a caramel sauce, marble freezer fudge, and edible cookie dough included too? There's a recipe for everyone in here, and I found so many that this is one cookbook I'd love to own my own copy of!

I love Liv B's youtube channel, and there are a couple of freely available recipes from her channel that are in this book (e.g. the lasagne soup) but most are new. The 'Chocolate Chip Banana Bread in a Mug' is exactly the sort of recipe that I bought this book for. If you're looking for delicious vegan food, you won't be disappointed. As with any cookbook, there are a few recipes that seem like filler. Does anyone really need a recipe for avocado on toast?
I don't know why the word 'budget' was included in the title. If finances are tight, you're not going to want to spend money on expensive ingredients like pure maple syrup, organic cane sugar etc. If you're looking for a vegan budget book that uses inexpensive wholefoods and provides weekly meal plans, I'd recommend the ebook "Whole Food Plant Based on $5 a Day" by Emma Roche.

Liv’s recipes use an impressively few and inexpensive ingredients to turn out great results in very little time. As an experienced vegan cook, some of her recipes are better than others I’ve made which took me far longer, and cost a lot more to make. I would highly recommend this as an introduction to vegan cooking, especially to someone with limited cooking skills and budget. Some of the recipes are so simple they don’t necessarily feel like ‘recipes’ (the smoothies, avocado toast, exc) but I recognize that some people will appreciate having these basics. The food isn’t necessarily all healthy, but my favorite cookbooks are ones that have a mix of highly nutritious and more indulgent meals. This is also a good bet for serving to vegan skeptics, since everything is familiar!

Im at the point where I’ve made most of these recipes once and a few are a go to. Probably the recipes I make the most is the chocolate chip cookies and the sausage crumble seitan. It is so easy and delicious. Some recipes I think are a bit too simple to be in there but a lot of them I would not of thought of even though they are simple. So far I haven’t been disappointed. I’ve enjoyed each recipe I’ve made from this book. I definitely want to get her new recipe book.

I have made recipes of hers pre-cookbook. I can only think of one that didn't turn out alright. She gave tips of how to fix the issues in her comments, which was nice.

So far I have only made her chocolate chip cookies form the book. They didn't turn out as expected but were tasty.

It has been a huge advantage in me eating healthy. I have made several of recipes so far and I am hoping to make more.
