Larkin Ashford is a billionaire. She's getting ready to take her fashion business public, but things are not going as well as planned. Someone inside is leaking secrets to the public, giving her all kinds of headaches. But this isn't the only thing ....

She has a stalker and a friend who wants want than friendship and she's spending way too much time thinking about a man she met only once ... on her roof. Who is he? Is he her stalker? She's determined to find out.

When she does locate him, she gets way more than she bargained for. What she finds is a dark secret that someone will kill for to keep secret.

Larkin is strong woman with many female friends. She's tough, but has a soft side. She owns a thriving business, but yearns for love. Her relationship with her father is dysfunctional and she dreams of a family someday.

There's suspense galore and plenty of action. I was rather surprised that the romance wasn't as robust as some of this author's other books.

Many thanks to the author for the advanced digital copy of this Romantic Suspense. Opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.

Who is the first book in the Stalker Series by Megan Mitcham. As the first book in a new series, this story has really set the bar quite high for the rest of the books, setting the whole series off to a fantastic start. This story is a steamy psychological thriller that twists and turns and kept me guessing right through till the end. The intrigue, suspense, danger, tension and dramatic effects were really well developed, then tended and stoked to an intense level and skillfully drawn out by Ms. Mitcham. She definitely had me devouring the pages to try to figure out what was happening, what would happen next, and who the stalker was.
Larkin Ashford has built her fashion empire from the ground up. She’s competent, creative, smart, and a shrewd business woman. She doesn’t believe in love or long-term relationships, as her past has left her quite jaded when it comes to romance and the ways of the world. Her mother died when she was young, and she has a strained relationship with her emotionally distant father. She spends almost all her time building her business and making it the success that it is. She does have a few really close friends that are uplifting, loyal and supportive. Things get quite interesting when the Board of Directors of her company strongly suggest that she needs to have a man beside her for her to be taken seriously, and even go so far as to advise that she needs to get married before she takes her company public. She resents this as she’s always been fiercely independent and feels that doesn’t need any man, either personally or professionally. But the Board are placing an enormous amount of pressure on her to conform to their wishes, so Larkin has no choice but to give the matter some serious consideration.
As all of this is transpiring, strange things begin to happen, starting with grim floral arrangements that are accompanied by horrible messages. Then one night she’s alone on her rooftop, taking some personal time, when a mysterious stranger grabs her and pulls her away from the ledge. She’s terrified and takes off running as soon as he releases her. But she can’t stop thinking about him and soon realises that he grabbed her away from the edge because he mistakenly thought she was going to jump. But, if he doesn’t have a sinister intent, who is he and what was he doing on her private rooftop? It soon becomes apparent that she has a stalker- who is it and why are they stalking her? The danger soon escalates, taking a perilous turn. Will Larkin figure everything out before it’s too late? Who is the mysterious stranger and what does he really want? These two have electrifying chemistry right from the beginning, but what is his intent towards her, and is there more to their feelings than overwhelming lust, or will everything result in some painful memories, or worse?
This book has a really captivating and beautiful cover, I spent quite a while just looking at it before finally opening the book. It is quite striking and made me want to find out more about the story.
The first chapter was a little slow and I did worry for a little bit that the story wouldn’t live up to the promise of the blurb (and cover). But it soon became apparent that I had nothing to worry about, as the pace picked up and the story took off. I really couldn’t put the story down, I was determined to find some sort of clue and figure the whole thing out before everything was revealed. I had so many scenarios running through my mind, and even though I came close to guessing a few of the twists, I never really could have predicted the outcome. It was a deviously clever puzzle that I enjoyed unravelling, keeping me reading well past my bedtime just so I could wrap everything up.
The epilogue in this book sets up the next book and it looks set to be awesome!! So now I really can’t wait to read Book #2 in the series, “WHY”- Genevieve’s story.

Thank you, Ms. Mitcham!!

This is a little different review to write because I can’t tell you much without spoiling things, and you definitely don’t want me to do that. I love Mitcham's Base Branch series and devoured it one book after another, and one of the surprises in this book reminded me again how much I loved that series. Being a big fan of Mitcham's romantic suspense, I jumped at a chance to read an early copy of this new psychological thriller.

Some of the book was a little more corporate setting and details and less romance than I anticipated, but once my brain made the shift, I got on board and the book really took off. Larkin is impressive, admirable, and a little amusing with her “kick butt and take names" attitude, but she has a softer side to her that shows in her relationship with her female friends and her long-time driver, Douglas, who ends up being much, much more than just her driver. It’s a good thing Larkin is such a strong woman, because she has a lot of challenges thrown at her that would break a lesser person.

This one definitely kept my attention with the main plot of a stalker in the midst of Larkin taking her company public and dealing with antiquated attitudes from some of her board members. The subplots added an additional layer, especially the romance. Although I would have loved more time spent on Larkin and her love interest, both of them are incredibly strong, decisive, independent and determined, so it made sense they would recognize and declare their love without any vacillating or wasted time. With a touch of humor, a bit of romance, a high-octane, thrilling suspense, and a nod to the Base Branch heroes, this is a heart pounding, adrenaline rush of a ride you won’t want to miss!

This is the my first read by this author but definitely not the last. Larkin is a strong, independent, and total bad-a$$ woman who takes no prisoners but with a soft side who has a stalker. Beckett comes into her life at just the right time and even though we are not treated to as much romance as suspense these two know what they want and go for it. Larkin has a lot of female friends and her chauffeur all have her back and are vastly supportive. There are many twists and turns but the world building was great and sets this up to be a great series.

I love a good draw you in and keep you guessing psychological thriller. Sadly, this isn't it. There is a mystery here, but it's buried beneath a mountain of business deals and family turmoil. I found the story to be convoluted and the characters not very likable. Larkin is a mess from the beginning and for someone who is supposed to be running a company, it seems that everyone and every thing around her is running her. Some scenes make little sense and feel disjointed, and when things get intimate between Larkin and her love interest, it felt stilted and forced. I've heard great things about this book, so maybe it's just a matter of this not being the book for me, maybe it's that I couldn't connect to any of the characters, or maybe a little of both. For whatever reason, this story clearly missed the mark for me.

Who (Stalker #1) by Megan Mitcham was a hooking psychological thriller that will keep you guessing till end.

My first read by this author, I wasn't sure what to expect, though I like psychological thrillers, I don't read a lot of them. I got to be in a certain mood. Kind of like, you can't just binge watch Criminal Minds, it messes with your head. I've been on a shifter kick lately and this book was the perfect palate cleanser.

This is a hard one to review, not because of anything bad, but because of how the plot, and subplots are intricately layered, into this deep complex tale, anything, one small detail coudl ruin the story and the intense lingering darkness and suspense. So what do I do? I gush that's what I do.

The writing was not only easy to follow but had this smoothness to it that just added to the dark tones and hidden messages. It added to that lurking danger, that our MC was never truly alone. It gets your heart pounding and the blood pumping. The attention to detail, and the misdirections were truly something, and if this is a testament to this authors work, then I need to read their others creations.

Overall this book is worth your time, and worth every page, ever word, every letter. It's fresh, original and pulls you into a false sense of security, cause, you're not going to see what's coming. This books gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.

Happy Reading

WOW!! I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This was my first book by this author. I could not put this book down. I loved the deep connection the female characters had in their friendship. The female lead was strong but also had a soft side that balanced her well. OH MY GOODNESS! Beckett.... perfect. The only thing I wish had been different in this book was for the H and h to spend more time together. I definitely want to read the next book in this series.

A story that has the main female character as the billionaire this time. It’s surprising how quickly genres have gone from choosing billionaires now as opposed to millionaires, just a short time ago. Why people can’t just be ordinary, but successful at their job is my main gripe with these stories. The female lead is called Larkin, who has built up a fashion empire, which she now wants to take public. This action has drawn hostile opposition, threatening messages and disagreement from some on her board of directors.

She is so driven, that instead of living in her home, she has a flat above her office and stays there. Concentrating on her work life, not her personal life. Another major point of disagreement, as her companies focus on brides and their needs, and she isn’t even marries, never mind have a partner. She makes her way up to the roof for a bit of personal space and peace and quiet, but is disturbed by a man appearing from nowhere and pulling her from the edge, thinking she was going to throw herself off – which she wasn’t. A little bit of Beauty and the Beast happening.

She can’t shake the memory of this stranger from her mind, but has work issues to be resolved and personal issues are not her main concern. She has a great group of female friends, who are also successful women. This book is part of the Stalker series and in this story, she has someone sending her creepy flowers and messages, most of which she ignores. She even wonders if the stranger may be her stalker, but has different feelings of him.

She lost her mother at a young age and has a distant relationship with her father and has been let down in personal relationships, and now avoids any such entanglements. Apart from her stranger on the roof – who has drawn her interest. Who her stalker is, takes a few twists and turns before it is revealed and her company problems come to a head. A satisfying end to the book and it certainly keeps your interest once it gets going.

Some of the action that takes place is maybe not what you might expect, but the story overall is satisfying. I am just one of those readers that normally stir a wide detour if books have to mention that a character is a millionaire or billionaire. It just seems to be taking success or a level of power to a height that is unobtainable by any normal person. The main character certainly didn’t need to be a billionaire or even a millionaire in this setting to be believable, so that is my main bug bear with this style of character and storyline.

The relationships between Larkin and her female friends is a close and effective support system. Her feelings for a stranger, with elements of The Beast, about him, are easy enough to understand and keep matters interesting. The manhole cover to access the roof, rather than a trapdoor or roof hatch of some sort, was a bit of a weird choice. The sexism of the older, male directors on her board still reflect the opinions of many men in power, particularly in the States.

This ended up as an easy, if somewhat unbelievable story in parts. The character of her long term driver is a very complex and secretive one. Her one night (ok, two night) stand is done too close to work and causes a lot of her problems, with an overly friendly and protective acting doorman. The comment about that by her driver is a classic one. Her lack of knowledge of computer and app development is a massive shortcoming for her business needs and not very realistic. Some parts of the story need to be put together with a bit more thought behind them. Good enough as an easy read with a bit of romance at its core.

I received an ARC copy of this book from Hidden Gems and I have freely given my own opinions of the book above.

Who scares you the most, a complete stranger or a person you know that has you in their sight?

Megan Mitcham’s latest novel, WHO, delivers an intensely evocative story in this first book of her new Stalker series. With intelligently crafted words and an intriguing plot that has plenty of suspenseful twists, this novel made me want to keep on turning the pages. At first, I found the book a little slow and I was worried that the story wouldn’t live up to its promise, however, the pace soon picked up and I knew I was reading a book that I would come to really enjoy.

Billionaire Larkin Ashford is the fiercely independent owner of her fashion empire which was founded on the back of wedlock. When her company has the opportunity to go public, her Board of Directors won’t give her the green light, unless she agrees to marry. A series of threatening messages aren’t making her decision any easier. As she retreats to her rooftop hideaway to clear her head, she finds herself imprisoned in the strong arms of a mysterious chap who thinks she was about to jump…

Despite her friends’ warnings that her knight in shining armour could be her stalker, she can’t get him out of her head. Determined to find the truth, she searches for her mystery man and discovers a dark secret that could destroy everything that she holds dear. With her empire in danger, she’ll have to uncover the truth before her fortune and her life are reduced to tatters.

I loved the character of Larkin who is efficient, imaginative and extremely shrewd. She has deep-rooted issues with trust from her past and she doesn’t believe in love or long-term relationships. Her mother died when she was thirteen, and she has a tense relationship with her emotionally distant father. She does have a few really close friends that are supportive and loyal. I loved that Megan Mitcham introduced us to an abundance of wonderful characters, especially Larkin’s girlfriends, Genevieve, Marlis and Libby. Their exuberance collectively provides many moments of fun, support and girlie laughter.

Larkin’s high profile life is very much lived in the limelight and with major personal and business decisions needing to be made, who is causing so much trouble for her and what will be the price she has to pay?

I had so many different scenarios playing out in my head, and even though I anticipated some of the twists, I couldn’t settle on the outcome and I was kept guessing until the end. The author definitely did not disappoint with the conclusion of this book!

If you love dramatic plots, intrigue and enjoy crime novels with a bit of romance, then Megan Mitcham delivers with abundance in WHO.

Thank you to Hidden Gems and the author, Megan Mitcham for a free ARC of this book in exchange for a voluntary, honest review.

Megan Mitcham, ‘Who’, a stalker series novel.

As a Hidden Gem ARC reader I received this book for free. And promised an honest review. Here it is.

English isn’t my first language. Sorry for errors.

Rating: 4 stars (of 5).

In general: Suspenseful love story in interesting social population group.

Main characters:
- Larkin Ashord.
Heiress of the Ashford corporation. When she was 13 years old her mother
committed suicide. Her father was gay, but won’t admit it. So he remarries
and divorces a few times, spending a lot of money each time. Financially
he’s dependent of Larkin, who became - by working hard - CEO of the
Ashfor Corporation and made it a successful wedding and family media
empire. With the help of four female friends Larkin fights for respect in a
business world dominated by men.

- Calder Beckett. He’s an investigator. For surveillance reasons he secretly
visits the roof of Larkin’s penthouse. But this roof is for Larkin a place to
retire sometimes from her stressful life, so she quietly can medidate there.
After a very irritating conversation with her dominant father (and her
board) she visits the roof and sits on the edge. Calder thinks she wants to
commit suicide and pulls her away with force. After this incident both feel
a physical attraction, but they don’t believe in love.

Larkin’s situation is complicated. Personally: she receives hate post from an unknown person and she feels often lonely for her love life is non-existent. In business: some of her board members press her to marry to create a good image in the market for her new wedding and family apps, but the technical aspect of the two apps (very important for her firm) encounters difficulties.
The author Megan Mitcham creates a great plot about the development of their relationship with the complicated situation of Larkin’s company and Calder’s investigation as a suspenseful background. A lot of the dialogues are sassy and/or funny and most of the characters are interesting. So - for me - the book often was a page turner.
I experienced only one minor aspect during my reading. Sometimes the general situation in which an event took place wasn’t always clear for me. An exemple: the book starts with a detailed description of the end of a board meeting of Larkin’s company. But no explanation how Larkin’s firm is organized and what they exactly produce and no word about the goal or importance of the board meeting. Only much later a part of these questions are answered.
But, all in all, a pleasant reading.

Is it stranger that scared you or the one you known that has you in their sight?

Megan Mitcham delivers you an intensely, evocative story with WHO in book 1 of her new Stalker series. Cleverly crafted words and plot that has plenty of WHO, intrigue, suspenseful twists and turns to make you keep turning page after page. I was absolutely captivated from the start. It was also good to catch up with a familiar secretive group inside this new series.

Larkin’s high profile life is already lived in the proverbial fish bowl of the rich and business famous. With critical business decisions needing to be made, WHO is causing trouble and at what cost? WHO is turning their fantasies into obsessions and will do whatever it takes to be with Larkin, when a stalker is born. WHO is the stranger that scares and has Larkin’s attention? Are they all the one and the same?

Plenty of wonderful characters that you will meet in this book, her girl friends are loyal and tightTheir antics… provide those girly, girl moments of fun and witty banter. They have your back!! Be patient... they'll be sharing their stories soon.

WHO is Larkin’s journey. She is a strong, determined woman with vulnerability skin deep and walls in place . It will take an incredible someone to knock those defense and pique her interest, to break all her rules, even when their invading her personal space. Is it worth the risk? Sometimes to solve something, you have to join forces and pool your resources.

Megan expertly crafts a journey for Larkin, that is filled with intrigue, dramatic suspense and psychological thrill and sexy romance. It’s a story that pits two intelligent and professional people together who also find themselves attracted to each other. The lengths some will go to, to divert resources and attention, cause mayhem and harm is extraordinary. This was a story with fabulous , strong characters and wonderful network of friend.., beautifully paced as it unfold in its intrigue and uncertainty. Filled with emotions, frustrations, doubts, and questions, before answers fit and justice can be served.

I absolutely adored Megan Mitcham’s Base Branch series… this new STALKER series is no exception. If you love page turning drama, intrique and love solving crime - then Megan delivers with WHO. A well written story, highly recommended for those that love solving crimes and psychological thrill even more. She leaves you with a sneak peek into more drama and trouble, in the next book in this series…

Who

**Copy provided to Bayou Book Junkie for my reading pleasure in hopes of an unbiased opinion, a review was not a requirement.**

Who is the first book in Megan Mitcham’s Stalker series. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and it won’t be the last! I don’t read a lot of MF books but I’m always on the lookout for ones that have strong female characters. The strong female characters that aren’t waiting on the big strong man to come rescue her and make her life complete. And strong females is exactly what this book gave me, a group of strong female friends!

Larkin is a terrific character, with many positives and negatives, that make her someone that I loved reading about. She’s a hard worker, successful, and though she takes no crap from anyone, she also tempers it and acts like a professional. She has wonderful friends that show the type of woman she is. Together they’re strong and supportive and the family that each of them needs. Love, marriage, and children are not on Larkin’s radar.

Larkin has a lot going on as she’s trying to take her company public. The males on her board are pushing back against her strong, independent woman life and instead want her married and projecting a happy wife vibe. She’s gained the attention of someone who is sending her flowers and notes, her bodyguard wants more than the couple nights they had together and is pressuring her, her childhood friend comes back and decides they can rule the world together, her dad shows up needing her to clean up his new mess, and she encounters a suspicious stranger on her roof hideaway. Larkin is pulled in all directions with pressures coming at her from every direction.

This book was a page turner that I could not stop reading! The writing was so well done, the author really brought all the characters and this story to life. I was pretty sure I knew who Larkin’s stalker was, and I was right. There was an added element with one of the characters that I could not figure out, and once all was revealed, I can admit that never would I have figured it out! As soon as I finished this book, I immediately went looking for book two because I wanted it now! And, even though this was a book I was given to review, I’ve already bought a copy because I will definitely be rereading it in the future. If you’re looking for a story with strong female characters who are running their own worlds, who will fight when needed to defend themselves and don’t cry waiting to be saved, you must read this book! This is definitely an author who I will be reading more from!

GIVEAWAY LINK BELOW!

This is the first installment in 'A Stalker Series' by author Megan Mitcham. Larkin has everything a person can wish for, if you look from the outside but she has nothing if you get close to her. She is a 'damaged good' according to her. Dysfunctional family, friends about whom she knows nothing about anymore, secrets piled upon secrets is all that is left in her life anymore but that is not all ,it seems now that someone is also hell bent on killing her and who is mercilessly 'getting rid of anyone' who came in their way. Larkin is tired of being alone but she is incapable of falling in love, yet when she encounters someone vastly unexpected from her normal days she is instantly intrigued. She waves it off as curiosity but she is clearly lying to herself,it is something much much more deeper than that.
Head over to this page for the awesome giveaway!

With everyone plotting against her and keeping secrets will she able to find out the truth before it is too late? And who is that mysterious stranger, her only ally or her deadliest foe?

A captivating tale of mystery, suspense, murder, secrets piled from decades till now and a healthy dose of spine tingling romance with a dose of BAD-ass modern successful women is guaranteed to keep you rooted to it until you complete this book.

It definitely did the trick for me and I'm so glad that I read this wonderful book. Megan Mitcham's narrative is praise worthy. My only complaint is that her books are a bit too long. Except the unnatural length there isn't any such faults, however some hardcore fan of romance will find it lacking as the romance isn't in the forefront of the story. But I think that it is perfect as it is essentially a thriller with a romantic twist.

I can't wait for her next book which will be Gen's story!

Who: A Stalker Series Novel
By: Megan Mitcham
5 out of 5 stars

The story Who: A Stalker Series Novel by Megan Mitcham is a psychological/romantic thriller that I loved reading. It is a book that had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It hooks you in from the very beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the last page. It is a story that is suspenseful. I found myself having to remember to breathe. I loved reading about Larkin Ashford. She is a woman who is strong, independent, and runs a successful business. She is a woman who doesn’t do romance. They are too messy and so she stays in the casual hook-up zone. Larkin is a woman who drowns herself in her work. She finds herself in quite a situation when wanting to take her company public. She also finds herself in the arms of a mysterious man on her rooftop and receiving threatening messages. This has Larkin asking the question of just who the mystery man on her roof really is? Who is sending her threats? What about the empire that she has built? Is it in danger? Read this book to see if Larkin finds out who is threatening her and who is the mysterious man that haunts her thoughts. This is a book that kept me guessing. I kept trying to put together the clues with the details given as to who was threatening Larkin. All the while concerned about how much danger she could be in. Talk about a nail-biting read. I also enjoyed reading about the other characters that you are introduced to in the story. Some of them are close friends with Larkin and I enjoyed reading about how they interact. Some of their conversations are quite humorous. There is also a romantic side to this book and some steamy scenes are included. This is a wonderfully written story and I would definitely recommend reading it.

Who is not only number one in the series but number one as a great read.

Larkin runs her own successful business. Still, like most companies, there is a board to deal with as well. She's done the work. She's made the decisions. Now, having to deal with the out-dated ideas of the older men on the board is her biggest stressor. Why does a woman need to be a married mother to sell family-oriented products? She doesn't even want a regular man in her life. Most men don't get that either. Okay for them but not her because she is a woman.

The men we see in her life do not fill her needs or understand her. She has a group of professional women who do. They all have their own quirks and interesting lives. It looks like the rest of the series will revolve around them.

While trying to de-stress, a man grabs her to prevent what he thinks will harm her. A man she didn't even see closely but makes an unforgettable impression. Why does she her body react to him as it doesn't too appropriate men?

When a childhood buddy is presented to her by her father and one of her board members as the perfect man. She knew better and had no interest. Not that it would stop them.

This story has turns and twists that keep the reader reeling throughout the story. Never a dull minute. I enjoyed that Larkin didn't have to change her character and maintained her business self despite the pressure and danger she endures. She is strong with inner feelings she withholds to all but a very few she trusts. There are other characters I will avoid mentioning as their importance changes throughout the story.

If you like romance with steam this is for you. If you like strong women this is for you. If you like a psychological thriller this is for you. Don't miss this one. A strong recommendation from me.

My new favorite Mitcham book. Full Review to come.

Who is an exciting and alluring tale that will grab your attention and hold it while keeping your brain burning with questions and theories. It will have you delving deep trying to work out who all of the players are and what their role is.

Larkin was an interesting character to me, a successful business woman who wanted to get her products out there going public, but she's left fighting a board who wants different things for her. In addition to the stress of that, she's got other problems, namely a stalker who doesn't seem to think much of her, and a father she doesn't have a great relationship with. Larkin is fierce and headstrong and independent, but she also has her fears and vulnerabilities and it was fun to see how that all worked together as she looked for the answers.

Larkin finds herself embroiled in tangled relationships all around her, half a board who doesn't understand her, a father she can't see eye to eye with, a friend who wants something more though she hasn't seen him in years, a stranger she knows nothing about and yet can't stop thinking of, and so much more. And at the heart of it all a secret that someone wants to hold close and not let out.
As we untangle these relationships and try to work out who is who and what is what, the lurking danger lingers, the truth waiting to escape the page and lead us on with curiosity and a desire to know more, to understand fully, to see the clear picture. All while also feeling us out on the connection forming between Larkin and her mystery man.

One of the things I've always loved about Mitcham's works is how they not only pull me in from the start, but how they take over, how I feel all the emotions, I work through all the clues and find myself questioning everything and yet often still find myself surprised, with Breathless anticipation, I love turning the page and discovering what happens next.

Who just might be my new current favorite by this author, but I have a feeling that's going to change the further I dive into this new series; something I absolutely cannot wait for.

Wow! I have not read anything from Megan Mitcham before, and I am kind of kicking myself for it now. Big time! I loved this novel, and for so many different reasons. This happens to be very good, because I will mostly be rambling about them, for the better part of this review. I would hate to spoil any of this fantastic multi-layer mystery and suspense novel that what I could say about its storyline is quite limited.

I think I must start with the gorgeous cover. I was drawn in right away with its striking appearance. I honestly didn’t even read the blurb, and jumped right into the novel, no questions asked. I was ready for an adventure.

This story promises to keep you enthralled every single second. I was constantly wondering WHO. Which really not only made the title very fitting, but was a really great reading experience. I love a great suspenseful story that will keep me engaged and going, “I didn’t see that coming.” out loud to myself several times throughout. I very much so caught myself doing this.

I absolutely adored that a woman, Larkin Ashford, was a main character and the billionaire. More power to strong women represented. She is one kicka** character and I loved her. She knew what she wanted and she took it. No games. Sometimes it is nice to just get a no mess story. This had the hint of romance but it was a focus and I liked that. It was a balance to the suspense rather than a focus. Mostly we see that Larkin is a strong person and I really loved that.

I would have to say finally, that I am most excited that this is just book one is a series. That means there is more to come! Bonus to being late to the game of discovering Megan Mitcham is while I am waiting I can go check out her other works! Thanks for a great read Ms. Mitcham!

A great read that had me guessing and kept me on my toes as to who was the one that was wreaking havoc on Larkin’s life. Too many people kept the suspect pool full which made the suspense and mystery all that more intense.
We meet Larkin, a billionaire CEO who has many stressors and her one escape gets invaded by a mystery man, a man named Beckett who keeps popping up and a man she has an intense desire to get to know. All is not what it seems and as the mystery thickens with a stalker, threats against her, then murder and an attempt on her life made me suspect everyone around her, except Beckett. He made her feel safe and his brute strength and body, was opposite of how he treated her with gentle yet firm hands.
A great read with some steam but I was a bit confused in the beginning until the story picked up speed and Larkin finally stood up for herself. She was a tough cookie but didn’t stand up for herself when it mattered, against her dad, Lucas, her Board, Bronson and not until near the end when her life depended on it did she show her fierceness that was hidden during most of the read. I also would have liked Beckett’s POV, even if it was just one chapter to know what he was thinking, where he was, what he was feeling...he still remains a bit of a mystery even though we finally find out who he really is. Otherwise I enjoyed this read, the secondary characters (her best friends) were amazing adding some humour and chuckles along the way and the author has a knack for keeping the adrenaline going with twists and turns and keeping me on edge on who dun it...right to the end.
*I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*

Who by Megan Mitcham is the first book in her Stalker Series, and HOLY COW what a fantastic read!! This book is labeled as a psychological romantic thriller and I couldn’t agree more. Following the story of Larkin Ashford, and her story is one that gripped me from the first page and had me checking dark corners and listening for every bump in the night. Larkin is a strong independent woman that lives for her work. When it comes to romance, Larkin would rather not. To her romance is nothing more than a messy complication that her life doesn’t need. When Larkin wants to take her company public, she starts getting threatening messages, and as the date looms closer the darker the messages become. To escape, Larkin goes to the rooftop of her building, and finds herself in the arms of a mysterious stranger. With him, she feels safe and drawn away from the troubles in her life. But who is he? Who is sending the messages threatening her and the company she built? The more that she finds out about the mystery man, the more sinister and evil he becomes. Is it better to keep your enemies closer than friends or is she just inviting the wolf into sanctum? Who will hook you form the very beginning and keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. The need to keep the lights on with this book is superior. Mitcham is a new to me author, and I am so glad that I picked this series up. I cannot wait to see where the rest of this series, and other books by her, go because if they are anything like this, I know I will love it. I highly recommend getting this book now and put Mitcham on your alerts so you can go fangirl (boy) over her new works in the future like I plan to!

Who: A Stalker Series novel is the first book in a new series by Megan Mitcham. It is a fantastic psychological thriller that will grip you hard from the very beginning and keep you on the edge of your seat as it takes you through every emotion possible and throw so many twists and turns at you that you won’t know which way to look.
Megan Mitcham is a new author to me and I really wish I had found her before as if this book is any guide as to the quality of her writing then I really can’t wait to read more of her work. I love a good psychological thriller and as this series is concerning stalkers then this is going to be one hell of a good series.
This particular book is about Larkin Ashford, a billionaire business woman considering making her business public when she starts to receive threats…very serious threats.
It’s kind of hard to write about the plot of this book without giving spoilers, so I’m not going to go into the plot of the story. What I can say is that it’s a fantastic story. It has many humerous parts too as well as the intrigue and suspense. When Larkin and her girlfriends get together some of their conversation will make you laugh. No subject is off the table, these ladies will discuss anything!
There is also a romantic element to the story too, with the elusive Calder Beckett coming into Larkin’s life. Not going to say too much about him except he’s the first man in a long time to get into Larkin’s head (and possibly heart).
This is a must read novel and I really can’t wait to read more in this series. Worth more than 5 stars.

Who: A Stalker Series Novel by Megan Mitcham

5 +++++ Stars

This is my first book by this author and Holy Moly what a book it was...I had to sit and think about what I had just read before I could even think of starting this review. I love twists and turns that you don't see coming and oh my goodness this book had that and so so much more. It took me a bit to find a connection with Larkin...I loved how strong and independent and successful she was but at first she came over as a bit cold to me, but then as the story progressed I started understanding her a bit more.

This was one of those WOW kind of stories, I couldn't even come close to figuring out how it was going to end and I can't even tell you how much I loved reading every word. I completely adored her group of friends and can not wait to get the stories that are to follow.

I love finding new authors that I can add to my list to watch for and I'm completely curious about her Base Branch series and believe I will be checking that out very soon.

If you even kind of like those kind of books that have your heart racing, your mind totally blown, and that have you almost falling off you seat then you have got to read this book. There are no words to explain how good this book was that can even come close to giving it the justice it deserves, and I haven't even mentioned this absolutely beautiful cover...

Amazingly Awesome!!! I want more!!!!!

I give Who: A Stalker Series Novel by Megan Mitcham, 4 stars.

Larkin has it all. A successful businesswoman, she is a billionaire who worked hard to earn her money. Her job and her group of girlfriends are all she needs to stay happy. Plus a man here and there to scratch the itch. But love? No thanks. She saw what it did to her parents. She is not going to turn out like them. But when she starts receiving threats, things slowly spin out of control. Then there's the mysterious sexy man she can't stop thinking about. He makes her have feelings she has never had before -- feelings she doesn't want. Having a man in her life will just ruin things. Right?

This is a very good romantic suspense. Larkin is a woman that thinks she has everything under control and can handle it all by herself. To be honest, I found her a little annoying in the beginning. But as you go on, you see this is all just a wall she's created. She really does have a heart and you see more of it the more you read. Her friends are great too and I cannot wait to read more of them in books to come. The story itself is very interesting and there is so much going on. You will be entrapped from the very beginning until the last page. There are many twists and turns, although I do admit I saw some of them coming. But there were more that came out of nowhere.

I wonderful romantic suspense and the beginning of a new series, I highly recommend this book.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Larkin is a successful business woman who is facing opposition as she tries to take her company public. As if that’s not enough, her family situation is toxic, she may or may not have a stalker, and there’s a crazy person or two in the mix. Larkin is facing a lot of betrayal from people she’s supposed to be able to count on, and in Who, we read about how she deals with it all.
Before reading this book, I read an excerpt, which gave me high expectations. Thankfully, those expectations were met! It’s not every day you get to read a book about a female billionaire who’s dependent on nobody, but it looks like we’ll be seeing more of that in the Stalker series.
I like that everything is not as it seems, and even though it didn’t take long for me to figure out what was going on, it wasn’t obvious in the first half of the story. The romance between Larkin and the person that turns out to be her love interest was welcome, but not as robust as I expected. There’s a lot in the way of boardroom and office scenes, but not much to show how the romance developed. While that’s not necessarily a bad thing for a thriller, I’m hesitant to label Who as Romance because of this.
Overall, Larkin’s story is one you would love, because the captivating plot and the interesting twists will keep you looking forward to more!

A true thriller! “Who” is the first book in the Stalker Series written by Megan Mitcham and it is 100% brilliant. There is so much suspense in this book it’s unbelievable! Not to mention Larkin! She is a no nonsense, take no names alpha! This is the first book I have read where the CEO billionaire is a woman. This book is written very smartly and very boldly. Larkin doesn’t have time for men in the romantic sense. She believes that love is just a fairy tale. So what does she do? Well…she uses them. That is until she has this stranger that tries to “save” her from jumping off the roof. Then she starts to get messages, strange ones at that. Her 3 bff’s try and warn her but things end up out of her control. So who is this mystery man? You have to read to find out! This story has you continuously on the edge of your seat with it’s constant mind games! Definite page turner because all you want to do is find out who this guy is and it’s driving you mad because of the twists and turns that the writer plays with. Now there are some hot and heavy sexy scenes. The writer knows her stuff! I’m usually jaded by those scenes but these were definitely spicy! All in all, I’m thoroughly impressed with the author and this book. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series! Well done Ms. Mitcham!

Who: A Stalker Series Novel by Megan Mitcham is the first book in this series. This book is a physio thriller full of twist and turns, with the occasional angst and intrigue.

The story follows Larkin Ashford a CEO of a billion dollar Tech company, she is accomplished and smart but is a bit jaded when it comes to relationships until within a board meeting one of the members suggests that she find a man to stand by her to give her more creditably in the business when she decides to take the company public. This absolutes floors her as she is a independent fierce woman who does not need a man to achieve anything in life or business.

As the story goes on strange this are happening to Larkin and she becomes scared and wary of everything and everybody. Until one night she is on her private roof top and the stranger/Stalker pulls her from the edge of the building, once she is released from his grasp she runs but as she dissects the attack she becomes more aware of the fact did he save her or was he there to hurt her.

This book is a great start to the series, some parts did not quite add up with the character of Larkin but overall the story is gripping and a page turner. The characters are rich and full of life on the page, I could not put the book down and was a great page turner. I can not wait to read the next book in the series.

Fabulous read. My first time for this author and I will read her again and her past books. Larkin is a successful business woman who had to start over due to her father squandering her inheritance. There is someone on her board who is leaking secrets to the public, she has a stalker and an old friend looking to reconnect, and she's trying to decide is she should go public. Quite a lot on her plate so she goes to her secret place where not many people know about. Somehow, there is a shadow on the roof and he thinks she's going to jump. He pulls her back and she runs away but Larkin can't stop thinking about him. There are many secrets, many surprizes and many awesome dialogues in this book and it's absolutely a page turner. I could not put it down. I loved the motorcycle scene where Larkin sits on a motorcycle for the first time and Beckett pushes her ass towards his body and just can't keep resisting keeping his hands there longer than necessary. The next time she gets on the bike, well its awesome. They are both smart and stubborn. I truly enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more of Ms. Mitcham's books.

I received this advanced reader's copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first book by this author and I loved it. Larkin was a strong, but vulnerable woman with a core group of best friends, and a very protective chauffeur. Their interactions alone were entertaining, especially given those friends were just as successful as her, but pretty fun and sometimes outrageous too.

The story revolves around Larkin, the owner of two very successful companies with two men vying for her attention, a stalker sending her threatening messages, and a board of directors that think she couldn't continue to be successful if she didn't get married. It never fails that there are always some men that think a woman can't possibly be happy without a man in her life, but for Larkin, that just wasn't the case. After a particularly bad day, she decides to head to the roof to vent, which is where she "meets" Beckett. And there was something about Beckett that had me wanting to unravel the mystery behind why he was on the roof and his background in general. I definitely wanted to see these two together and found him sexy as hell. The one thing that surprised me is that there were two mysteries in the story, and after resolving the stalker situation, the book continued until the second one was dealt with as well. Usually, authors carry those over to the next book to continue the suspense, but I liked that we actually had closure for both in this one.

I started to put things together for some of the mysteries, but still enjoyed reading as they were unravelled. I was kind of nervous about her dad, but liked where the story went there, and the added twist, which was sweet. And with that, I'll stop now before I reveal too much. Definitely plan on reading this again before the next book. I need another hit of Beckett.

I knew going into this book that this author was a really good writer and, though very different from her Base Branch books that I have devoured, the same pulse-pounding action is still there. The female character, Larkin Ashford, is a strong and independent woman who is ready to face the challenges that she will be called on to face. Her imposing character is softened and made more human by the friendships she has cultivated. It is obvious they care for her.

The story line dives right into suspense as the reader discovers Larkin has a stalker. She is also dealing with a difficult board of directors as she considers taking the company public, and information is being leaked that has to be coming from a board member. When she goes to the roof to find her special place to think, a rooftop shadow – thinking she is about to jump -- grabs her and “saves” her. Could this be the stalker? Or should she track down the mysterious man she can’t seem to forget?

I love the high level of action in this book. The twists and turns, along with the mystery, make it a joy to dive into! You definitely won’t want to pass this one by! There will be so many surprises for you!
