Even though I’m an adult I enjoyed this classic. Extremely easy to read and the pictures made it all that more enjoyable. Amazing book for an animal lover, as I think it teaches kindness, respect, and compassion towards others as well as animals. Bringing light to the struggles some of them face and showing that life can be tough for no good reason sometimes. Will be reading this to my children as soon as they are old enough. Highly recommend.

This adapted version of the famous black beauty is as good as the original one, Transferring the reader into the life of black beauty as the spirited horse moves through different phrases of his life, meeting many different characteristics of both humans and horses alike. This story teaches us the important lessons of life, Showing us black's life experience instead of trying to teach us.

This is a great book to keep in a classroom. Animal lovers will be drawn to this classic, and it is a good story. The writing is easy to follow and will allow students to grow in their reading skills. It also has many good life lessons, like to never judge someone before you know what makes them the way they are. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good book for their kids or students.

Be kind to your pets. They need lots of love, care, attention, kindness and rest. If you do this, your pet(s) will do the same to you. This also taught me that if you be nice to someone, they will be nice to you too. This is my top favorite book.
