Going from exchanging emails to moving in together happened in the blink of an eye, but Jackson wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Getting to know the quirks and needs of each of his boys has been fascinating and endlessly amusing. With Sawyer’s quiet desire and Cooper’s erotic fantasies, Jackson knows they were meant to be his.
Sawyer and Cooper know more than anyone that life can change in a second, but every moment they spend with Jackson makes them more confident they’d met Master Right. They’d finally found the man who made their family complete.
When a family grows from two to three, there’s bound to be a learning curve, but it’s how they handle those bumps and turns that matter most. Facing the challenges together, their love can overcome anything.
63k words Story Contains: M/m/m sexual content, BDSM elements, and puppy play
3.5 stars. Cute. This is the kind of D/s relationship I like. Sweet and affectionate. I didn’t really buy Jackson as a Dom. Cooper was OTT. Sawyer I loved. Sawyer I understood. He may have been very happy with the relationship, but I think Cooper stole much of Jackson’s attention.
Sawyer & Cooper are adorable and Jackson truly loves them both. While this started as a puppy play series, there was less focus in play in this book and more was on the relationship and family. Really sweet ❤️
The trio continues growing in their relationship and we see how far they’ve come and where they're all heading. The conclusion to this story was sweet with plenty of fun and lots of heat. Again, Kenneth Obi was the perfect narrator. He brought into life each of the characters perfectly and vividly to the listener. He made this a really great listen.
I loved this! Cooper, Sawyer, and Jackson are just sexy as hell, romantic as can be, and totally committed to each other. I have loved getting to read their story, this is definitely one of my favorite books with puppy play in it.
I do wish that there had been a little bit more conflict in this one? Like, I thought Cooper's family were going to cause more drama, but that didn't happen, and then I thought something would happen with one of the other two and just nothing did. Not to say that I didn't love this just being a sweet romance, I was expecting a little bit more conflict. Still, a very sweet way to wrap up this series (I think this is the last one?) and I definitely recommend it for people wanting to maybe try a puppy play book but unsure where to start.
On my way to finishing all the series I've never finished...
So sweet to see the guys all find their happy endings. And it's worth buying the bundled audiobook version to get the tale of them taking their trip to Orlando!
Sawyer and Cooper are now living with Jackson. "Everything had happened so quickly, but it had easily become our home. It wasn't because it was bigger or nicer. No, it wasn't something as tangible as that. Part of it was because it was were Jackson was. Cooper wasn't the only one who liked being close to Master. It was more than that, though. Something about the space felt like we'd finally found where we belonged."
I love the way they were with each other. Cooper, Sawyer and Jackson trying to adjust work and chores to accommodate their different schedules. They are all so busy but keen to make time for each other. "I have a feeling that Sawyer will be frustrated with us both if I let you distract me every time we're supposed to clean" "It was just once.' Distract someone with a blowjob one time when you were supposed to be vacuuming, and no one ever let you forget it." "Three times, Cooper."
The sense of fun and love between them was evident in everything they did. They are so funny and sweet together. Riling each other up in so many ways... "Cooper took another big bite of pancakes, and for a moment, I worried he would choke. But deep - throating skills came in handy when someone was as passionate about pancakes as Cooper was."
"Are you trying to weasel an answer out of me, or are you just trying to be naughty enough that I'll give you a spanking when we get home?" "Both. If I actually get an answer, that would be perfect. But it would be even more perfect to get a spanking. So you could just give me both. You tell me the answer, then say you have to punish me for being naughty enough to get the answer out of you." He beamed like he'd solved all the world's problems in one fell swoop. "See? That's an amazing idea."
"I'm not going to reward sass...not this time, at least."
"He seemed to take every emotion and magnify it. Love or arousal, everything he was given exploded and expanded into something incredible."
"They were perfect together and perfect for me...I'd always known we'd find the right person to complete our family, but Jackson was more incredible than I'd ever imagined."
"Every time we made love, it was like the first time all over again. Passionate and loving and perfect." Awww. Sigh..
There was minimal family drama and loads of family fun. I do love all of Jackson's family. This is a beautiful fun sexy story that I happily recommend.
This book leaves our guys very settled. There are some minor conflicts but it’s really low angst. I had no problem believing Cooper and Sawyer as pups.
Cooper, Cooper, Cooper! I felt the story was too centered around Cooper. Cooper was fun, Cooper was sexy and beautiful, Cooper had bad parents and a sad past..... Jackson loves Sawyer because he is he (?) that’s it, but could list four specific and very wonderful reasons why he loved Cooper. Even Sawyer worried that his pub bored Jackson, he said it exactly like that and that was a missed opportunity for the author to verbalized what Jackson saw in Cooper that made him love him as much, instead Jackson agreed and put on a movie. It felt like Sawyer was often taken for granted, and just a brief acknowledgement by Jackson about not wanting Sawyer to feel excluded was not enough. Sawyer was on his own since or maybe before Cooper but we really just don’t know as much about him. How were Sawyer’s parents? Why Sawyer does not have any support system? Not that Sawyer complained, he only expressed total satisfaction with the relationship, and his second one on one scene with Jackson was very hot. Towards the end it got a bit more balanced but still left me with a feeling that it was Cooper first, Jackson second and Sawyer last.
There was no character growth for anyone in this book :(
This book felt like it was just more of the same in yet another volume. While I love the relationship that Sawyer, Cooper, and Jackson have, there was nothing in this book that I felt challenged them to experience any more growth than they had in the beginning.
This book was sweet, and there were some sexy scenes, but I found it, for the most part, to be a bit bland where everyone just maintained the status quo that already existed. Ultimately I find that disappointing because if the characters have already experienced all of the growth they were going to get, what was the point of this story?
Could not finish. No real plot movement at all, Sawyer seemed like an afterthought, Cooper was the center of attention constantly, and I just got so tired of reading it.
Aww! I've loved each book of this series so far and loved this just as much! Cooper is still his bouncy, over excitable self, Sawyer is still the more laid back of the two and Jackson is, well, Jackson! In this we get to see Sawyer & Coopers pup sides more ( I still think Coppers pup should've been called Taz as in Tasmanian devil!) and see how the dynamics are working between the three of them as well. We also see how things are progressing with their day jobs too. There's a few surprises in this book, ones I didn't see coming so won't spoil. Overall another really well written, sweet sexy read. Loved it!
The final book in Jackson, Cooper and Sawyers story. Jackson is such a sweet and loving boyfriend and master . He enjoys getting to know each one individually. Taking them on dates and spending time with them. Learning to be master of his pups . Cooper and Sawyer are learning that Jackson is the perfect master for them.
Great book!! There is more sex than the previous books but it's not overwhelming so, all good! Those guys are perfect for each other, they are all different and complete the others. I wouldn't mind reading more of them!
Ennuyant, nul.
This series is far too focused on only Cooper and Jackson. Sawyer seems to be a secondary character in all of these novels and he needed to be brought in more to feel like a true partner in the group. Their relationship feels very unbalanced.
I also found Cooper unbelievably annoying and not cute at all. He got FAR too much page time in this series and it really turned me off the book.
Jackson wasn’t a ‘dominant’ master at all and as he ended up folding to every request. I wanted him to show more growth in his role.
The writing was great as usual but I felt like the actual story and character development let this one down.
This is a review of the third book in this series, but really a review of the entire series. The first book in this series was the first book involving puppy play that I ever read. Even though it's not really my thing, the blurb of the first book sold me on the story. After reading it and loving it I couldn't wait for the sequel. The author created amazing and entertaining characters while at the same time managing to write about and explain the dynamics involved in the puppy play for these characters. Some of the events in the book broke my heart. The second book showed a lot of progress in the relationship while the third one focused just a bit more on personal development. I loved the entire series and am very sad that this is the end. The author posted on facebook that there might be a short story and if there is I hope it wraps up some of the storylines introduced in the third book relating to Melissa. That's really my only criticism of book three. A few minor plot points were created involving a secondary character that went nowhere and I just don't understand why the author would do that in the third and final book of a trilogy. So, I'm hoping for another short story to bring these plot lines to a happy end and then I guess I will have to say farewell to these characters with a sad heart; sad because I hate to see the last of them, but happy for reading and learning about them. There will definitely be multiple re-reads of this series in the future. Very highly recommended, even if puppy play may not be your thing. I think I may never read another book about the subject because this seems like the definitive treatment of the subject. In other words, the author spoiled me for all other novels involving puppy play, because I don't think any can live up to this series.
Jackson, Sawyer & Cooper have settled into their routines and this story formalises their mutual commitment to each other. There’s some job progress, a family birthday celebration, and an encounter with Cooper’s parents but nothing momentous. Just as the boys have human and puppy sides, Jackson plays two roles, dom-master and puppy-master, but I can’t help feeling sorry for Sawyer … Cooper is more boisterous, happy-go-lucky, manipulative, and he attracts more of Jackson’s attention and indulgence in both roles. Sawyer seems forced into being the trio’s parent or policeman more often than not and I can’t imagine he’s content with that, but maybe I just relate to Sawyer’s more complicated mindset. I can’t fault MA Innes for these creative choices, she has crafted three strong, distinctive characters and I love the subtlety in Sawyer’s character. Audio narrator Kenneth Obi continues to do an excellent job, but he has voiced Cooper as high-pitched and childlike - there’s no doubt it differentiates and suits the character but it grates and freaks me out a little. I would have liked more puppy scenes, they’re sweet, spicy, and good for the soul.
This is the third installment in the story of Jackson, Sawyer, and Cooper. I fell in love with them in the first book, and they are still just as wonderful here. Now that Sawyer and Cooper are living with Jackson, they are all much more relaxed and secure. I love that their relationship is completely accepted by Jackson's family, Sawyer's boss, and even the waitress who serves them pancakes regularly. We see more of Jackson's one-on-one time with each of the other guys here, and it's so sweet and sexy. Cooper is still a hyperactive and funny goofball, and Sawyer is still more gentle and quiet. Jackson is the perfect match for them when they are apart or together. The puppy play doesn't seem to take up as many pages here as it did in the last book, but it is still very much a part of the story. I really enjoyed seeing how the men take care of each other, and how Jackson's family considers Cooper and Sawyer part of their family. This series just make me smile so much. I love it and think anyone who likes romance and humor mixed with a little kink would enjoy it greatly.
This conclusion to The Accidental Master series was just as sweet as the first two. I liked pretty much all of the characters but I related to Sawyer the most. Cooper is very sweet but his hyper personality would drive me up a wall.
One thing I will say about this series is that even though I am not a huge fan of MMM, this was pretty good for me. No one really felt extraneous which seems to happen in a lot of MMMs. I felt Jackson and Cooper were more interactive with each other than Sawyer was with either of the other two, but Sawyer seemed content with the way things were because he was more laid-back.
I am sorry the series is over because I always like the sweet stories in between the more emotionally draining books that I like to read also. There were minor questions left unanswered but nothing too pressing. I just want to know if Cooper ever becomes a manager and who Jackson's sister was dating since it was such a secret.
Overall I would definitely recommend this series even if you are not into the puppy-play aspect of it, it is still a loving story.
Puppy play isn't something I normally read, but I adored this series. I loved the "accidental" way the guys got together and how their relationship developed and deepened over the course of the three books. I liked how the author showed that different aspects of puppy play appealed to Cooper and Sawyer and how the two young men fulfilled different needs Jackson didn't even know he had. I enjoyed watching Jackson develop relationships with Cooper, with Sawyer, with Cooper and Sawyer, and encouraged them to spend time together separate from him so that all the parts of their relationship(s) would continue to thrive. The ending of book three could serve as a series ending, but was also left open in such a way that additional installments can be written... and I really hope there are more to come because I fell in love with the trio and would love to see their poly relationship continue to grow.
NOTE: My review is the same for books 1 - 3 because I enjoyed them too much to stop and write separate reviews.
It might have seemed fast, but now that they had all moved in together Jackson would have ever wanted it to be any other way. Getting to know the personalities and quirks of his boys had been fascinating and endlessly amusing. Sawyer had a quiet desire and Cooper was full of erotic fantasies, but either way, Jackson knew they were meant to be his. Sawyer and Cooper know that the more time they spend with Jackson that they met Master Right and that they have finally met the man who made their family complete. Facing the challenges together, their love can overcome anything.
I enjoyed this story which rounded off the series and gave the three guys the happy ending that they all deserved. I loved Jackson's family and how they accepted the expanded family unconditionally. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content in this MMM story containing BDSM and puppy play themes.
I absolutely love this series!! The relationship between all three guys is perfect and the way that these books are written shows their love for each other so well! I love the way that these books follow/end with a significant step in their relationship taking place, like Jackson giving them their collars! I love the way that both of Jackson’s parents accept Sawyer and Cooper into their family so easily and without question! I love the blind faith that Cooper has even after everything he has been through and how Sawyer has always been willing to do whatever it takes to give Cooper the love and family that he deserves! Jackson then takes that a step further and is there to support both boys in every way! Their relationship is perfect! I can’t wait to read the last novella in this series but I’m definitely very sad to see this series end!!

This story was very sweet and loving with three men who realize the culmination of what they’ve yearned for in a partner in what they found with each other. I was kinda feeling it in book two, but this one solidified it: Jackson and Sawyer are more just supporting characters for the large personality of Cooper. And this was unfortunate for me as Cooper is just too much for me to enjoy. It was all too cutesy and too...sappy? Not much actually happens in this story. It’s more like a really long epilogue confirming their happily ever after, which I love in a book, but this was very drawn out without much development. That maybe sounds harsher than I mean, because I truly am happy these characters found their perfect.
