Re-released in a second edition with new content.

Laura Niles walked out the door and never looked back. As she left Washington, DC, her career was in ruins and her love life decimated. Her desperate flight eventually led her to Bliss, Colorado, where she managed to find a new home and a little peace. That will have to be enough because Laura cannot imagine finding happiness without the men she left behind.

For five years, Rafe Kincaid and Cameron Briggs have searched for the only woman they ever loved. When she disappeared, everything became crystal clear. For one night, everything had been perfect and instead of embracing what they had found, they let it all slip away. They had let worries about their FBI careers and what others might think destroy the most precious gift they had ever been given. Now they have finally tracked her down, and they want answers.

Laura is shocked when her former loves show up in her new home. When the full force of the FBI arrives with them, Laura knows that the quirky little town is in for a rough ride. The killer that ruined her life has been watching and waiting for the opportunity to strike again. For Rafe, Cam, and Laura it’s time for second chances — to stop a monster, and to reclaim everything they lost.

But maybe love was a lot of different things. Maybe love was a word that defied simple explanation.

Know what I love more than a delicious second chance romance? A second chance romance where the man makes the mother of all mistakes and then have to grovel his way back in. Make that two men instead of one, add in a tough as nails heroine with just the right amount of softness to her, and wrap it around one action packed story and you've got yourself a winner!

This was Second Chance Romance meets Criminal Minds and I devoured it in one sitting!

Five years ago Laura was a profiler with the FBI and her profile on a notorious serial killer landed her in his sights. Barely surviving her capture, she ran as far away from DC as she could. She had nothing to come back for with her career in ruins and the two men that she fell for having made a choice that ultimately almost cost her life. She's settled in Bliss and she's making a life for herself, but she's never moved on from the two men she left behind.
Rafe was an elegant bird of prey, whileCam was a huge tiger stalking his next meal.

Rafe and Cam have been searching desperately for the woman that left them for years. When they finally catch wind of her at Bliss, nothing can keep them away. Unfortunately, the serial killer is hot on their heels and determined to finish what he started five years ago.

This was such an addicting read! If you're a Criminal Minds fan like me, you'll be just as glued to the pages. The author gives the reader just enough of a peek inside his head to truly hook you. And while the sizzling hot romance takes place, so does the investigation and hunt for the ruthless killer.

Of course you get the quirky people of Bliss along the way. And I get my female version of Ian Taggard with the sassy Rachel.
When Callie goes into the hospital, I’m going to tell those doctors to put all the drugs they have into her epidural. All of them. And don’t you even talk about a silent birth. There’s nothing silent about birth. It’s loud. First there’s the screaming because of the contractions, and then there’s some man whining about me breaking his hand. That wasn’t what I wanted to break that day, let me tell you.”

I really enjoyed this book. I loved Laura's strength and vulnerabilities. She's survived something horrible, and while it left both internal and external scars on her, she's still an incredibly strong woman. She doesn't take any bull, especially from the two men that come in guns blazing determined to win her back.

I loved the balance of sweet and rough with Cam and Rafe. And while there's nothing sexual in their relationship, their bond was evident. Lost In Bliss was a sizzling MFM menage with plenty of feels and even more suspense. We also get to see the story with Holly, Alexei, and Caleb develop further. I can't wait to get my hands on their book!

Lost in Bliss is Laura's story. We've learned in previous books that she is ex FBI and we finally learn what really happened to her to bring her to the town of Bliss.

Rafe and Cam are additions to the series. They are also FBI and had just started a relationship with Laura when everything fell apart. They have spent the last five years searching for her and a serial killer that was the reason for part of Laura running.

The more I read in this series the more I love the people in this town. Most of them are completely insane and providing me with great entertainment. I'm really loving these characters. Especially when they come together to protect their own.

Laura, Rafe and Cam made for great main characters and I enjoyed their story!

I’m a bit stumped at what to write really. I really do like this series and some of LB earlier work is much better to what she is churning out today. This is an action packed read filled with the quirky characters from Bliss, Colorado and a serial killer on the loose.

Laura Niles barely survived the Marquis de Sade and as a profiler who handed in a spot-on profile of the killer she was snubbed because it couldn’t have been law enforcement. Betrayed by her lovers who were also in the BAU she fled.

Rafe Kincaid & Cam Briggs choose their careers over Laura and they won’t let it happen a second time. Cam has spent the last four years with his super software searching for Laura. He found her. Rafe has been working the case of the Marquis de Sade and he has now become active again and this time he wants to tie up all loose ends. Including his rabbit Laura.

Without a shadow of a doubt the sex scenes were a scorching. But out of the bedroom there was so much martyrdom it was hard not to get a headache with so much eye roll. If they had talked it out right from the beginning, then there wouldn’t have been so many issues- Just saying.

There are parallels with this series and her M&M series. Eve St. James just happens to be a profiler who has a serial killer that is fanatical about her just like Laura. Cam, Rafe & Laura want to find missing people just like Jake & Adam, okay maybe the idea was vice versa here. It just seems that it has been used before but with some differences. Don’t get me wrong I really enjoyed the book it is just what I observed.

I’m still giving it four stars because a) I can and b.) although I’m picking at it I truly did like it.

The town of Bliss is definitely a different one, but one I have come to enjoy reading about.

I enjoyed this book more anticipated and being that it's a ménage-a-trois, that is saying a lot. I have to say that it is Lexi's writing that is making these books enjoyable to me.

Lost In Bliss definitely has more suspense than her previous books and almost has the Masters and Mercenaries vibe to it (probably because I have read that series before this one) but I very much enjoyed this aspect of the book.

Cam, Rafe and Laura have a past together and it seems that past is making it's reappearances for them. I wish we got a bit more info on their relationship before they all found one another again in Bliss as it would have helped showed that deep connection. However, it didn't hurt the overall vibe of the book.

One thing that I have always loved in Lexi's stories is that the plot stands out and the romance blends in perfectly as subtle balance. The scenes were never too over the top and blended well with the suspense part of the book.

Overall, another great read in Lexi's Nights In Bliss series. Each book can be read as standalone, which is another huge plus for me.

The small town named ‘Bliss’ that’s the star of the book.
I loved how accepting was everyone of each other there. Each and every person was unique with some weirdness and quirks!
And that’s why I’ll keep on reading this series (hopefully).
I loved the heroine and heroes. The suspense aspect of the story was done well though I still guessed correctly! The passion and emotion in this story was amazing. The protagonists actions were unpredictable and I loved that.

The only reason I didn’t give the book full stars was heroes wasn’t celibate during separation. They were trying to find her day and night, was sure they will find her one day, was in love with her but still they couldn’t keep it in their pants. That rankled. Alot!
Thankfully there wasn’t TMI about that or ow’s or anything. Just a sentence were both admitted to each other that they felt dirty after being with others. I was also cross with heroine for not sleeping with anyone else when I read that.

I really enjoyed this book but I felt that there just was not enough of Bliss woven into this story. I wanted more of the quirky people of bliss than what was offered. That being said, it was still a good story. A bit on the violent side but that does not bother me much. It also had a few LOL moments but not as many as previous book's in the series.

The love scenes were hot but again I wished more from a M/W/M book.

The ending was done very well and left us all set up for the next story to be told from Bliss. I'm looking forwards to seeing what Sophie has in store for us Bliss fans next.

Seriously...Can Sophie Oak write a bad book? Is it possible?

Lost in Bliss is the latest tale from my all-time favorite town. We get the wonderful things we expect from a Sophie Oak book...humor, romance, crazy secondary characters, a lot of secrets revealed, and smoking hot men who are working through their issues to claim the woman they love.

Rafe and Cam are two FBI guys who have been looking for Laura for 5 years. She disappeared after she was tortured by a serial killer, and ran somewhere she thought no one could find her...Bliss. I will say that there are some darker topics here, and we get some moments inside a very twisted individual's mind. Despite that I can still come away from this book with a smile in my heart. The love and strong spirit that Sophie gives her characters allow them to triumph over some crazy awful circumstances with a sense of humor.

The T-shirts...OMG the T-shirts! I want these T-shirts! "Don't worry about the murder rate in Bliss. The wings are hot at Trio." There were more. All freakin' hilarious. There is apparently a bad image in Bliss because so many folks who head there end up dead. But those were the bad people! ;p

Laura is hesitant to believe that Rafe and Cam want her for more than to soothe their guilty conscience. Although if I had two smokin' FBI guys keep searching for me for 5 years, one who even quit his job to dedicate his life to the search...well I might be more inclined to believe them. Thankfully the citizens of Bliss tell her she's being a dumbass, in the way only they can, by planning a wedding for her and her fake fiance.

I still don't see how those big men are going to fit in Laura's little cabin, but I love the scenes where they definitely try to make it their own!

We get some new citizens in our ever expanding Bliss family, another murder, lots of snarky comments, some more hot alpha males, and a fabulous HEA ending that shows us a peek at where our next Bliss adventure will take us. Can Bliss can unite another loving family without a body count this time? Nah...Zane is having way too much fun with those t-shirts!

5 stars. And bless Sophie Oak for her otherworldly ability to crank out fabulous novels at a break-neck pace. I will be first in line to buy the next. Keep writing woman...I will keep reading them.

“She was full of them, full of love. For the first time in years, she was full of life.”

Lost in Bliss by Lexi Blake is a scorching hot, emotional, and suspenseful second chance romance between three characters that captured my heart almost instantly! I’ve been wanting to re-read Laura, Rafe, and Cameron’s romance, and the verdict is in…with the new content this second edition is SO DAMN GOOD! These three characters stayed in their own heads for so long that when they finally surrendered to their relationship, it was like a dam opening up…feelings, vulnerabilities, and forgiveness all rushing through making them that much stronger.

I love these books, this series, and these wonderful characters. I love revisiting them years later only to find out that my love for them hasn’t diminished at all. Lexi Blake has a way with words that just intrigues and captivates every single time. I’m so grateful that she is re-releasing this series with new content so that her current readers can be reminded of the magic that this series has brought into their lives. New readers are in for a treat with this venture! Get ready to meet your new addiction! Get ready to fall head over heels in LOVE with Bliss.

I'm in a reading slump. I'm trying to read 600 books this year and I don't think I'm going to make it. I'm in so many challenges that I can barely keep them straight. I don't like when reading is a chore. What do I do when I'm in a reading slump and I have reviews I don't want to write? I go straight to Ms. Sophie Oak. I can ALWAYS count on her to bring me out of my book blues. Lost in Bliss does not disappoint.

Yes, it's another menage were two men who are like night and day chase after a woman and have to convince her she's the one for them both. Yes another killer is in BLISS again!! I'm starting to agree with the news media, there is something about Bliss where there just seems to be too many killers for such a peace loving small town. Are these guys, Rafe and Cam so different than Nate and Zack or the twins? Well, no, not really. Laura is a bit different than the other women but she's still kind of predictable. Why is it that I adore this series so much?

It's because of the loving characters devotion and loyalty to each other. It's because Ms. Oak creates an utopian place where the people are accepted for who they are. People genuinely care about each others. Neighbors know each other. I can't tell you how appealing this is for me. It's something that is only fictitious yet it is something I crave for, desperately. Each of the characters in the small town are zany and can be total busybodies, but none of them are mean spirited. The fact that there are so many protective alpha men in the town also causes me to swoon in ecstasy. It's nice to see men who are men and women who are still strong and independent. Nobody is perfect in this town and it's so refreshing. They all pull together in a crisis which is just heartwarming for a jaded cynic like me. This is the gentler side of life that I enjoy reading about from time to time. Of course, there is hot sex because Ms. Oak is writing erotica.

Most of all, I love the quirky humour Ms. Oak injects into her stories. It adds another dimension to her stories that makes it more relate-able for me. For example, how Mel responds to FBI is hilarious. The fact that the entire town can predict what will happen next and also tries to head off his paranoia just has me giggling like a loon. "Doc will have to tranq the nice man. Put these shirts on." HAH HAH The sayings on the t-shirts made me laugh even harder. I wish those shirts were available to wear. I'd wear them. This book is for those who love a menage, suspense and a lovely HEA. Ms. Oak is definitely a favourite of mine. I hope you enjoy her too.

Once again Lexi Blake writing as Sophie Oak knocks it out of the park with this second chance romance. Lost in Bliss combines the steamy MFM genre I have come to love from this author with suspense and comedy. The citizens of Bliss, Colorado are so loyal to each other but they're also hilarious. And that loyalty really comes in handy when leading lady Laura Niles' past comes back both in the forms of the sexy men she ran from, and the killer she's been hoping will never find her again.

Rafe and Cam were the perfect combination of opposites and well matched. While their personalities and physical appearance are very different, their sense of honor and their hearts are the perfect match to love Laura.

The suspense in this story was really entertaining. I loved how I was kept guessing right up to the end. While I thought at one point and time or another that I might know who the killer was, there were too many little things that would happen to make me change my mind. The wrap up of this story was great and totally satisfying.

I feel like this series just keeps getting better and it's definitely one I can see myself revisiting in the future.

This was book 4 in the "Nights in Bliss, Colorado" series. Five years ago Laura Niles walked away from her life and the men she loved after she was fired from the FBI after being attacked by a serial killer. For five years Rafe Kincaid and Cameron Biggs have been searching for her. They used to be partners until Cam quit to focus on finding her. When the killers strikes again they know they need to find her. Laura has started a new life in Bliss she loves the town and the friends that she has made. This was a good read with lots of hot sex. When the guys appear again she is angry because not only did they not believe her when she gave her profile they didn't back her up and she was right. I figured out who the killer was in the beginning of this book. I love reading about this town they protect their own and Laura was one of there's. The guys had problems with the whole thing about sharing her only having sex one at a time until they had a talk with the other two ploy couples at least the men. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Oh how I missed the people from Bliss, they are a fun group to say the least.

Anytime someone new comes into town we know we are in for some action and some crazy sex scenes and this story is no exception.

Cam and Rafe had been looking for her for five years; she disappeared without a trace after something awful happened to her that broke all of them. Now that they know where she is they are not taking no for an answer, she will have to listen to them and they are not leaving without her, even if they have to carry her over their shoulders.

Laura has finally found her home, and she is content at last, even happy you could say. Or that is what she thinks until she sees Rafe a Cam walk into town and her whole world gets shaken to the core.

Her past has caught up with her and she is petrified he will find her again and finish the job. But running is not an option; she is done escaping her fears.

Making a choice about her men and standing up to her biggest nightmare is the only way she will be able to move on and stop looking back in anger and pain.

Rafe and Cam have to learn how to work together and finally become a team, otherwise there’s a chance they will lose her forever this time.

I think my favorite scene was the men meeting with these two. To be able to see how they interacted with all of the men from Bliss and to see a little bit of their antics again was priceless. I missed my favorite guy Max (dreamy sight).

Another menage by the master, Lexi Blake! Bliss has got to be the hottest town in the world! Add in the 2nd chance romance aspect of Cam, Rafe and Laura and wow! For me, the best thing was the danger and suspense. Romantic suspense is really more my jam, and this book brought it! I felt like we didn't really have a good idea as to WHY these 3 fell for each other so hard. It was kind of like just something we were to accept. I'm not saying its bad, but I just didn't feel like I understood WHY they loved each other.

For 5 years, Laura Niles, Rafe Kincaid, and Cameron Briggs have been lost…lost in their heads, lost in the emotional and sensual night they spent together, lost in the case that tortured Laura and left two men with feelings of guilt and regret, and when these three finally find one another again, it’s in Bliss, Colorado, a place that Laura has taken refuge in and one that will give these two differing alpha males a chance to make things right with the only woman who completes their trio because their wants and their needs perfectly align.

Laura, Rafe, and Cameron’s story is so much more than a second chance romance, given the trios professions as well as what they have already gone through together and separately. Right away, readers see just how lost these three are, how stuck in their heads they appear to be, and how incomplete they feel apart, so it makes sense that Rafe and Cameron would do everything in their power to find Laura and claim her as theirs once and for all, so she finally sees the depths of their feelings for her and so that she can work to get passed what was done to her at the hands of a murderous lunatic.

The suspense aspect of this story is more intense than the other stories in the series due to the antagonist’s state of mind; in fact, some of the scenes are difficult to read because they so vividly provide insight into the mind of a killer as well as his obsessive nature. But I didn’t find these moments exaggerated or overdone because it’s a situation that all three main characters are a part of and it must come full circle in order for this threesome to find their way home, not to a place, but to each other.

Lost in Bliss continues in the same vein as the previous stories told in this quirky and lovable town. The residents of Bliss, once again, have to deal with a crazed killer, but, like always, they do what they need to do to endure, and because Bliss seems to be a safe haven, so to speak, for broken souls, the townspeople will always allow strangers to become friends, opening their hearts to those who come to Bliss to escape their past or their present, without judgment or prejudice.

I never know exactly what I’m going to experience in Lexi Blake’s Nights in Bliss series, but what I can count on are steamy, dramatic, and hilarious scenes that showcase the characters and the environment where these stories take place.

Bliss, Colorado is unlike any other town you know, it seems to be a hot bed for people that are running from something or someone to end up and that is what happens when Laura decides to up and leave her home in Washington D.C.. She has been a Bliss resident for the last five years but has only really gotten close to a few people but you wouldn't know that because when she needs help the whole town has her back. I love that!!!!

Rafe and Cam have been searching for Laura since she left her hospital bed without a trace after a brutal attack by a serial killer who is on the prowl again. Both men love her and are desperate to find her, Cam left his job at the FBI in order to dedicate more of his time looking for her while Rafe is still working with the FBI with the hopes of finding the person that hurt her.

The chemistry was amazing between the three of them even though Laura tried to deny it, but after feeling such betrayal can she give them another chance? Will she come to her senses and love her men back before the killer finds her? Will there be an HEA with just two or all three of them? Who is the crazed serial killer and was Laura's profile of the man correct all along?

If you love second-chance-romances and romantic suspense novels I think you will enjoy this one. But be warned this book should be read by those over 18 due to the erotic flavor of the book. Rafe, Laura, and Cam are in a Poly/Triad/Menage Relationship there is no MM but there is a ton of MFM. Happy Reading!!!

I was strongly thinking of going with a 2-star rating for the book. I was thinking that for most of the time I was fighting with myself about giving up the book, but then the reason why I kept going came into my mind and I knew that I would never give less than 3 stars to the people of Bliss. That might change over time even a story has one of my hard limits, but otherwise, I don't see a book getting less than 3 stars from me. I just love Bliss and it's citizens so much! They were the thing that kept me going and they made the situation more tolerable.

Before I even began the book I was hesitant and not very joyous at the thought of reading it for some reason. It might be because I needed Holly, Alexei and Caleb's book and not Laura's. The book almost lost me as a reader when both men brought up that they had slept with other women during the separation and I just knew that Laura would have been celibate for all this time. I might have spent half of this book wishing that she would sleep with someone else. The problem is that both men are supposed to be looking for their woman for the last 5 years and during all that time they cared about her and loved her. In books, I ain't buying that anymore. How can I like a book when I am disappointed in the three leads before chapter one ends? I didn't. This trio did nothing for me except allowing me to catch up on all the other characters I love. I think that the plotline where Laura is engaged to Wolf should have been longer in other to make Rafe and Cam break some sweat and fight for her. I also feel like Rafe and Cam took too much time to work things out between them. Lost is Bliss is my least favorite book in the series so far.

Laura worked for the FBI as a profiler but after her job put her in the crosshairs of a serial killer and nearly cost her her life she fled from DC and has never looked back. Now happily settled in Bliss she is doing her best to move on with her life but she's never been able to forget the men she left behind. Rafe and Cameron were FBI partners who worked alongside Laura and were both desperately in love with her. They felt like they failed her and blamed themselves for everything she went through but even though she left five years ago they haven't given up on finding her. Cam left the FBI so that he could focus on the search for Laura while Rafe remained with the FBI to continue trying to track down the serial killer who targeted her. Finally Cam has a lead on Laura's location but in trying to get their woman back have they just put her back in the crosshairs of a killer with unfinished business?

I always love getting the chance to go back to Bliss and catch up with all the quirky characters who live there, it just seems like such a fun place to live and I really enjoy how supportive the whole town is. The people who live there may be a weird bunch but they look out for their own and nobody judges anyone for their lifestyle choices so it's a really inclusive place. Laura has settled into the town well, she's made good friends and she's happy with her life there but she's never forgotten Rafe and Cam or felt ready to move on in a new relationship.

I normally love the menage relationships in this series but I have to admit I struggled with this one in the beginning mainly because Rafe and Cam didn't really seem keen on the idea themselves. It was more something they seemed willing to go along with because they both loved Laura and she couldn't choose between them but for a lot of the story they didn't seem too happy about that. I think that's mainly because their friendship has suffered so much since Laura left, they both blamed themselves (and to a certain extent each other) for what happened to Laura and it had put a wedge between them. It took a while but eventually they were both able to admit that they had missed each other and not just Laura so although there was zero romantic interest between them they did have a strong, more brotherly, kind of love. Once they decided to work together it became a lot easier to get invested in their relationship and I could easily see why Laura didn't want to pick one over the other.

As with all the books in this series there is also a hint of danger as it appears yet another serial killer may be at work in Bliss. I was pretty convinced I knew who the killer was, in fact I thought Lexi Blake had made it too easy to guess, but I should have known better because it turns out I was completely wrong. It was fun to catch up with previous couples and I really enjoyed getting to know Wolf (Leo's brother) better. I definitely think we're going to get his book soon and it's one I'm definitely looking forward to.

Laura Niles, aka Laura Rosen, thought she had buried her past and any connection to the nightmare she survived over five years ago. When the two men who both showered her in love and broke her heart come looking for her she quickly realizes she must face a passion that never went away as well as the monster that tried to end her life!

Welcome to Bliss, CO. If you’re here as a tourist you might want to make a quick stop by The Trading Post on Main Street and pick up some Kevlar…after all they didn’t get featured in Time Magazine as possibly the most dangerous place to visit for nothing!

Is there such a genre in literature as “homicide light”? If there is, I’m pretty sure author Sophie Oak has the market cornered. Lost in Bliss is the 4th story in the Nights in Bliss series and without fail someone in each story is killed (not dies, KILLED). But it’s okay! They’re all bad people…or tourists. You’ll have to read one of the books to understand but this really is one of the most fun and action packed series I’ve ever read. Loyal fans would tell you that each book is more highly anticipated than the last.

The impression that I had of Laura Niles from the previous books was that she was an intelligent and independent woman with a lot of self-confidence and a love of sexy shoes. After reading Lost in Bliss those impressions were reinforced except for the level of self-confidence. Thanks to a betrayal of the most heart wrenching kind and then being kidnapped and tortured, Laura’s self-confidence took a major hit and it’s literally taken years to rebuild it to a sustainable level. The return of FBI agent Rafael Kincaid and his former partner Cameron Briggs will put her hard won confidence to the test. If that wasn’t enough to deal with, they inadvertently lead a serial killer right back to her doorstep.

Don’t get bogged down with the idea that this is a dark and bloody thriller. This is Bliss and the amazingly quirky groups of individuals that live there have no problem coming together when it means protecting one of their own. I loved seeing all the reoccurring characters that breathe life into this small mountain town. I’m not sure how many stories Ms. Oak has planned to write for Bliss but I can’t wait to read both Holly and Logan’s stories!

If you can’t literally get lost in Bliss, Colorado, do yourself a favor and get lost literarily. Even from the standpoint of a voyeur watching their lives from a distance you’ll feel welcomed and at home. Come along and get Lost in Bliss as soon as possible. You’ll never want to leave!

Another great installment in the Bliss series. I seriously want to move to Bliss, Colorado. :-) Such a great group of people there. I can't even imagine what Laura lived through. I can imagine, after waking up along and then hearing Cam and Rafe arguing in her hospital room when she recovered consciousness that she might believe she has nothing left in DC and she'd take off. I'm so glad Cam and Rafe found her. Unfortunately, them finding her basically brought the serial killer to her door again. It took me a while to figure out who it was, but it made sense. And I was so glad Cam and Rafe dealt with him how they did. He had it all figured out -- figured he'd walk. I guess not.

I look forward to the next in the series!

This was a wonderful yet heart – warming romantic suspense; next book in the Nights in Bliss Series; yet it was one that held my interest the most – serial killers + criminal profiling is my kryptonite!

Rafe Kincaid and Cameron Briggs
have been partners at FBI’s BAU (cue me drooling!); they become more than partners one night when they share the woman they have fallen in love with – an upcoming profiler in BAU – Laura Niles.

Laura Niles has fallen for two men – unconventional yes; but the heart wants what the heart wants. But when Cam & Rafe betray her professionally the very next morning; it leads to Laura being captured by the very serial killer they were hunting – it leads to her understanding that neither Cam nor Rafe ever felt anything for her beyond that one night.

Betrayals destroyed her life; personally & professionally – so she walks out of the hospital without ever looking back.

5 years later; Cam and Rafe have finally tracked her down in a small unknown town of Bliss, Colorado –
but what they never expected was that they would be finding her on the heels of the serial killer Laura escaped from making a comeback!

All three of them – Cam, Rafe and Laura have a lot of things to work it out. I loved the dynamics of their relationship – Rafe and Cam didn’t really start out as quite comfortable with sharing a woman; it was fun to see to them working towards a relationship where they are both comfortable with the feelings they also had for each other & it was wonderful to see Laura stand up for the love she had for the woman she had grown up to be!

But for me; the best part about the book was the POV from the serial killer – the forensic psychologist in me was quite thrilled with the way the killer’s POV was handled – but it also happened that this serial killer aspect of the book sort of overshadowed the romance for me; even though I definitely enjoyed Rafe, Cam and Laura’s interactions.

I am so excited to see where the inhabitants of Bliss, Colorado go next! <3

When I first read the Bliss series, Lost in Bliss was one of my favorites of the bunch. Newly refreshed with added scenes, I liked it just as much as the first time, maybe even a bit more.

After a horrific attack by a serial killer she was investigating, Laura, an FBI agent, walks away from her life completely broken and feeling betrayed by the FBI and the men she loves. I love Laura, and not just because she has an awesome name. Fate had her landing in Bliss, but it’s the townspeople who kept her there. She may be broken, but she was strong and with their help, especially Nell and Holly’s, she slowly started putting the pieces back together, well, as much as was possible.

Rafe and Cam were in the same FBI unit as Laura. First, they became best friends with Laura, then they both fell in love with her. They only had one night with her before all hell broke loose and they lost her. Angry that she walked out without letting them explain, but also terrified that she was alone and in danger, they never quit looking for her. What I loved about them was how driven they were to find her no matter how much time passed. And once they did, they focused on her needs, even if they had some missteps along the way.

Rafe and Cam both needed to come to terms with each other before they could go about winning Laura and their infighting did get on my nerves a bit. Their issues with each other felt almost too similar to Zane and Nate’s problems in Two to Love, the second book in the series. I loved how the men of Bliss helped them get their shit straight.

Considering Lost in Bliss had such a small suspect pool it ended up being a suspenseful whodunnit that will keep you guessing! It was sexy with just the right amount of angst and action to keep me interested up until the end. I can’t wait to see what Ms. Blake does to Holly’s story next.

Rating: 4 Feeling Refreshed Stars

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book (although I also own a copy of the older version).

Former FBI profiler Laura Niles lost her career when her colleagues dismissed her profile of the 'Marquis de Sade' serial killer as wrong, and nearly lost her life when the killer attacked her. Rejected by her bosses, co-workers, friends, and lovers she left Washington, DC without a word, eventually settling down in Bliss, Colorado. However, when the serial killer begins killing again, her ex-colleagues (and ex-lovers) Rafe Kincaid and Cameron Briggs (as well as a group from the FBI) descend on Bliss to protect Laura and get answers about the killer.

If someone crossed Criminal Minds with menage romance, they would bet Lost in Bliss. The suspense elements are compelling, though the identity of the killer isn't exactly difficult to figure out. The relationship between Cameron, Rafe, and Laura is emotional and fraught with problems, as she has to figure out if she still loves the two men who rejected her both romantically and professionally. I'm not sure I could, but then, I'm not a character in a romance novel.

Lost in Bliss is book number four in the lost in Bliss series. The Marquis de Sade hasn’t been heard from in 5 years. After the last woman he tried to torture and murder escaped his clutches, he had seemingly gone to ground. His last victim, Laura, was a profiler with the FBI who had seemingly “insulted” him when the profile that she had produced appeared in the press. After surviving her horrific injuries, Laura also had to deal with the fact that the men she loved had hung her out to dry professionally. Traumatised and betrayed, she runs until she reaches the sleepy town of Bliss. The residents of Bliss don’t care that she doesn’t talk about her past and tries to keep herself to herself; in Bliss, once you set up camp, they class you as one of their own. Finally feeling like she finally belongs somewhere, Laura tries to forget the man that haunts her nightmares and the men that haunt her dreams. However, although Bliss is safe, it is completely isolated and she doesn’t realise when the killer starts up again. The sleepy town of Bliss have had to become used to protecting their own, but can they protect Laura from the man who confounded even the FBI?

Since the day that Laura disappeared from the hospital, Cam and Rafe have searched high and low for her, throwing away careers and countless man-hours in the race to find her. In five years, they haven’t had a hint of her whereabouts until she appears in a single photograph used to announce the wedding of two of the locals of Bliss (I’m not putting whose in here...it’s a spoiler for the previous books). Once they realise that they’ve found her they hunt her down to apologise for past wrongs and try to convince her she wants them in her future. They made another mistake in her previous life; they tried to make her choose between them. Separately, she stands a chance of resisting them but when they work as a pack? Not a chance girlie  Can they win her back whilst being complete bossy bastards as they fight to protect her from a killer who doesn’t like lose ends?

This book feels a little darker to the rest of the series, but it made the love story that little sweeter. Although these aren’t my favourite characters in the series, I think this is my favourite book. Laura has always been a side character in Bliss, as are most of the folks until they get their loves stories. I knew about her previous employment due to her involvement in the last book, but I never realised that what she was running from was quite so horrific. The injuries that she suffered were just the tip of the iceberg; she had to deal with the betrayal of the men she loved, the loss of her professional reputation and the realisation that one of her closest friends had sold her out for a story. I didn’t know what else she could do but run, but I knew that that wasn’t the way to solve anything. It was fine when she was isolated in Bliss because no one knew of her past. However, as soon as the bodies started to appear, I knew it wouldn’t be long before the facade she had built up tumbled like house of cards. Did I think she was a strong character? Hell yes, lesser women wouldn’t have survived, but I just didn’t think that the way she dealt was going to hold up in the face of the onslaught from Rafe and Cam.

Rafe and Cam were like any other of Sophie Oaks hero’s. Fan-bloody-tastic. Rafe was a straight down the line kind of guy. You would expect him to be the charmer in the attempt to woo her but you would be very wrong! That man is an alpha down to the ground; he has decided she is his “soul-mate” so won’t take no for an answer *swoon*. Cam is a big, gruff, obsessive guy. Again, you would expect him to be the alpha type character...you would be wrong because that man is plain pussy whipped when it comes to Laura. He has been the one hunting her night and day. He has been the one to create the facial recognition software to search the net for sightings. Rafe funded the operation, but signing a blank check is easy, and I adored Cam for the amount of effort he put into finding her. Together, they make a perfect ménage trio. Unfortunately, the men are too afraid of accidental peen bumping during smex to consider the possibility of it becoming a permanent solution. What does this lead to? Why it leads to “taking turns” *shudder*. The town’s male residents take them to task, and soon they realise that their quest to get her back will be more effective if they come at the “situation” as a team. Their other job is to protect her from the frankly scary Marquis de Sade. The scenes which were written from his POV were terrifying...honestly, they creeped me out. The whole thing was very cleverly done and I had no idea of his true identity until he was unmasked...it was a very tense yet thrilling plot line.

Another fabulous addition to the Bliss series. I loved the main characters and, once Rafe and Cam got their act together, I willed for their HEA. You get a real sense of community in Bliss through the interactions of the characters, and I love reading how everyone is getting on. The cast were all out in entertaining force; from mad Mel to tortured Logan, they made the book an experience that I will want to re-read. A sexy, fast paced and slightly dark addition to the Bliss series with characters that made me laugh, swoon and my heart ache. Pretty please can Logan, Wolf and the Doc get books...I loved them all in this tale

Now for my favourite quote....

“I know that according to Callie, Zane and Nate have seriously stretched out that whole part of her body, but I refuse to believe that Zane Hollister’s cock is as big as a baby’s head.”

NEWS!!! Sophie has just confirmed that the next book will be "Found in Bliss" and will be Holly, Caleb and Alexei's story......SQUEEEE! :)

5 Star Review Lost in Bliss (Nights In Bliss #4) by Sophie Oak

This has been a new series to me and it keeps getting better and better. Each time I finish a book I think, this is my favourite, until I read the next one and so it continues.

This was Laura Niles, Rafe Kincaid and Cameron Briggs story and what a story it is. Laura left after being fired from the FBI, leaving behind Rafe and Cam and found herself landing in Bliss, Colorado. She has lived there for 5 years without being discovered. However not only have her men now found her, but so has a serial killer, one who has already tried to kill her once before.

Danger is heading to Bliss again and Laura is right in it’s path. This time the serial killer The Marquis de Sade is determined to succeed in his quest to kill Laura.

Laura is a strong woman, she has to be to overcome what has been done to her and Rafe and Cam are determined to protect her and claim her; this time they will not let her run.

It was great to revisit Bliss because you get to see glimpses of previous characters and catch up on their lives. I love the quirkiness of the characters who call Bliss home.

Lost in Bliss is a story of love, of forgiveness, of overcoming tragedy and loss and moving on to a brighter future. Of course it is also smoking hot and there is some humour as well as you would expect from a Sophie Oak n=book. I cannot wait to see what happens next in Bliss.

This is the 4th book in the Nights in Bliss, CO series. IMO you should read these books in order.

This book had me laughing so many times. My family knows the types of books I read and they don't understand how they could be funny. The t-shirt logo's that were designed to build up the town after all the killings in the previous books were priceless. Nell's interpretative dance because she would rather not speak but dance out what she is trying to say and not tell a lie. Nell is becoming one of my favorite characters that keep popping up in this series.

This series is not just erotica, each book has it's own story and there is kink sprinkled throughout the book. This town is becoming a menage town. I wonder if a town like this really exists.

The author builds each character so well and how she brings the characters back into each book makes it fun.

Lost in Bliss is Book 4 in the Nights in Bliss Colorado Series. This is the story of Laura Niles, Rafe Kincaid and Cameron Briggs. This can be a standalone book but the previous characters do intertwine in this book. Laura, Rafe and Cameron all worked together but ended up having feelings for each other and acted on it. But Laura was hurt when she wasn't supported when she had made a profile of the killer that was in the area but then to make things worse she was attached by the killer but escaped. Traumatized she left to find safe haven in Bliss. Rafe and Cameron didn't want to loose Laura and went to try and find her which took a while but now that hey did they don't want to let her go.

This series just gets better.  Now, don't get me wrong, Bliss is, it would seem, a dangerous place to live.  And there are hints of similarity with a certain Sheriff and his partner's tale.

But.

Don't let that put you off.  1.  This is fiction.  2.  This is Lexi Blake.  I can therefore tell you that I wholeheartedly enjoyed this tale.  From the a**hole FBI agents, to the feisty female protagonist, this was just perfectly pitched with a hint of light relief from the other town residents to lift the story.

Bliss indeed.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

4.5 stars

I feel like we are finally getting to the writing that I come to expect from Lexi in this book. Not to say the previous Bliss books are bad in any way, but definitely her older style of writing.

I loved the serial killer aspect, the second chance (which is not my favorite romance tbh) and the town of Bliss, of course.
