Disappointing!
Lame
Was it supposed to be silly??
I remember reading a book from Lisa Shearin's SPI files series and it was kinda like that. A bunch of jokesters who are supposed to be crime fighting paranormals but probably couldn't find their ass with both hands.

Jade was a mary-sue paragon. Drake is supposed to be a badass but, as I said above, you never see it.
Meh,
it was cute I guess. .... don't even get me started on the Pixies. (roll my eyes)

Super. Sensational. Phenomenal. So many ways to describe this book but it was simply stunning to read.
Jade doesn’t know what else or who else to turn too when her brother goes missing. Well has hot footed it with his lover because the damn Pixies are coming for him and that is definitely not good.
Fearing for her brother Jade turns to the Elite Crime Unit for help.
Drake. Hot. Smoking Hot badass Elf can’t take his eyes off of Jade.
He decides only he can protect her. He sets about imposing himself as her personal bodyguard. Well lucky Jade. Haha.
The two of them will be enough to make you combust.
Hot steamy and and oh so damn sensational.
I couldn’t put this book down.
Hope to all that’s holy we get more from The Elite Crime Unit. Yes please.

Jade is a very selfless character, almost angelic. Drake is a dark elf. Opposites attract again.
I thought this was an okay story. The character of Drake was contradictory (in my opinion). Drake is supposedly dark, fights like or with the dark forces of the underworld, but he shines like the sun and he all sorts of good. I think some of the aspects of this story are confusing.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.
Shut up!! This book was so funny. I love the comedy Teresa puts in her books because it’s comedy you might have with a friend in real life. Her characters are so real that they could BE your friends.
Jade is in a heap of trouble thanks to her little brother running off THE pixie Princess of the paranormal world. She stumbles into this paranormal agency that Dark Elf Drake works at when everything changes for her and him.
Drake takes on her role as body guard and is all about making this waitress his when the case is over. Drake soon had to overcome his jealousy plus Jade must stop thinking of others first if this couple is going to stand a chance. The couple are a riot to read. The banter when they argue was hilarious!!!!
When the pixie King wants to meet and chat everything soon comes to ahead and Drake must claim Jade a lot sooner then he planned.
The last chapter was so sweet and seeing Drake coo and gush over Jade was perfect!!

Teresa has done it again, this time with fairies and pixies!!!
Jade goes looking for help to save her brother from the evil pixies and she goes to the Elite Crime Unit. Paranormals that police the paranormals and help humans when needed. Yes people that’s right pixies are bad, not the cute little Tinkerbell that we all know and love, but a**holes that are bad.
She gets Drake as her keeper while they are looking for him.
Ahhhhhh, Drake a yummy dark elf, almost as yummy as Gabelman’s VC Warrior Slade. Ok, gotta get back on track, we’re talking elves and pixies not vampires right now. Lol!!!!
Drake and Jade are attracted to each other in a blink of an eye, seriously it happened that fast, but who could blame a girl with a elf like that!!!!
Drake protects Jade from the pixies after her brother and finds that he is totally drawn to this little human like he has never been. Jade is dealing with paranormals for the first time, worried about her brother, and now she’s attracted to this elf, soooo she’s a little on edge.
They are sooooo funny together as well as hot!! She is not about to let Drake run all over her, she stands up for herself and what she believes. Drake just wants to claim and protect her, but he wants to do that on his own timeline which really gets moved up to save her.
I hope we see more of Jade and Drake in the future, it’ll be awesome to see little half elf/human babies.

Claiming Jade is fantasy brought to life! Claiming Jade? How about I am claiming Drake! Haha! This is one of those insta-love type stories but the way these two push and pull at each other is hilarious! I love how the author can give us a great storyline but add the wit and charm that will make me smile throughout the whole story.

For Jade it was incredibly difficult to ask for help from the paranormal community. But when she does I don’t think she expected that she was in as much danger as she actually is. Now she has Drake to deal with. He is an incredibly fierce half elf that has an intense attraction to Jade that she is more than happy to reciprocate. Reading along and seeing how Drakes comrades all interact with him and how he can be a big softy is super sweet. This is a fast paced story with lots of ups and downs… but absolutely, never a dull moment! If you want something to lift your spirits, make you smile, get a little hot and action packed, then Claiming Jade is a great read!

Humor and Adventure Oh My!

When ever Teresa Gabelman releases a new book, I snatch it up. She has taken on one of my favorite Paranormal characters. Elves. Drake is a a Dark Elf. He is just yummy. In this book he is protecting Jade. A human caught up in a situation with the Pixies. The story that ensues is full of action and suspenseful Humor. Jade is sweet and naive
Drake is a dark elf and sexy as hell!
When Jade finds her home broken into and ransacked by Pixies, she knows she needs help searching for her brother who went missing.
She goes to Elite Crime Unit and where she meets Drake.I really hope Teresa makes this a series! I would love to find out about the other Paranormals that work at Elite Crime Unit

I am a tinsy winsy little obsessed with T.G., I will have read evertything she puts her name on...and usually I L-O-V-E it...quotations around the usually.
However, this one, while entertaining was, in a word...mediocre 🤦🏽‍♀️🆘
I know, it hurt me to type it...whew, **deep breaths** 😩😩😤😤
anywho, its short and weet HEA, with chuckle worthy lines 👅👅
But overall it felt rushed and predictable...a little more meat, and continuity would go a long way to bring this from okay to good rating.
But I give 3 starz for alpha males, sexy scene and rep alone.

Jade story went so fast....


I am a fan of T. Gabelman and hate getting to the end of each story. I loved Jades compassion and her quirky clumsiness. Man would i love to meet a dark elf like hers. Well, I guess you can tell that I loved this story. Jade is looking to find her brother who has run off with a pixie princess. She hires Elite to ring her brother and for protection from the pixies. She meets her knight and shiny protector who is willing to do anything to keep her safe.

Tinker bell they ain"t!

When her brother runs away with a pixie princess Made doesn't know what to do so she goes to the paranormal crime unit. Of course she didn't know the girl was a pixie princess and who knew picked were mean? Drake, a dark elf, becomes her bodyguard and sweats they will find her brother. From not knowing any paranormal to being thrust in the middle, Jade, finds out nothing stops a dark elf from completing his mission and turns out Jade is his priority! Lots of fun and a very quick read. Can't wait to read more of Gabelman's books.

So rushed

I love Tereda Gabelman, and I did like the characters - what little we got of them - which is why this book got 3 vs 2 stars. I dont even want to call it a book, it felt more like a vignette. We are dropped in the middle of a story, no background to the characters, no background to anything and no world setting, then we are all but racing to the end of the story light speed ahead. I loved the idea of the different paras and the Elite Command, but there was just no substance. Insert brownie face here.

Claiming Jade is not just a good book it is an OMG great book. Teresa Gabelman is a Paranormal genius! I could not put this book down! Drake is a sexy dark elf and Jade is a sweet little human that will bring this alpha male to his knees! Hopefully Teresa will make this into a new series because the other characters need their stories told! This is definitely a five+ star, must read,

No depth

It would have been a great book, however the parts where they grew closer and learned another each other were skipped. I felt like it just fast forward to where they loved each other and we didn't get to experience that part that we all read romance books for. As for Jade, it was of she took care of everyone and didn't care about herself and that got annoying with her degree of it.

I really loved this book, it was so refreshing and had me hooked from the very start.There was the obligatory damsel in distress, evil pixies and gargoyles and of course the elves and werewolves, but not just any elves, smoking hot, burn your eyes out just by looking at them elves. Great story with plot twists and steamy romance, what more could you ask for, definite read for all paranormal and Gableman fans.

The dark & sexy elf

I really enjoyed this book and love how the author writes. It deserves five stars. Made goes to a detective agency to help find her little brother who has disappeared. There is a werewolf and two dark elves that are apart of the agency. Jade's brother, Clyde runs away with the pixie kings daughter, Arielle.
Jade & the dark elf, Drake fall in love & continue growing their family.

Teresa does it again. Dark Elves,pixies,humans and other paranormals. I would not normally read about these types of paranormals but if Teresa writes it then I can be guaranteed a fantastic story. Well written,funny,sexy,full of action with a great ending. Hopefully there will be more with the great cast of fellow characters in this book.

Claiming Jade was a great, fast paced story that grabbed my attention and held on tight. Jade and Drake are so different, but are so perfect together. I really hope the author keeps writing in this series, as I’d really love to learn more about Drake’s team, Clyde’s story, and the diner!

Heroine is short a few screws

I greatly dislike martyr heroines and my god this one was bad. Not just bad, lacking total common sense. Got as far as the diff between Drake and The gargoyle and once she took the knife I was done.

Give me a dark elf hero with a constant uncontrollable boner anytime though.

Jade’s brother is missing. She goes to a crime unit for assistance finding him. She is paired with a dark elf, Drake, who is sent to serve as her protector while his team searches for her brother, who is in trouble with pixies. The attraction between the two is undeniable and quickly evolves. This short book is fun and light hearted. I haven’t read a book by this author that I have not enjoyed!

A quick read. It had a lot more sex than I thought it would and it could have amped up the action a little bit more.

Jade seems like a push over but she shows some backbone at times when it is important to her. Drake seemed to go into poetry land a bit too quickly and he didn't seem the type. But the two of them worked. Overall, it was a fun read.
