Tommaso is book two in the Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. series by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. This book was generously provided to me in exchange for an honest review by the author.
Welcome back to the craziness of Cimil. She has predicted that all immortals that are not mated will flip. That means if they are evil, they will become good. And the good ones will turn evil. Tommaso is leaving the singles mixer at the end of book one when he first sees Charlotte and as soon as he sees her he feels the attraction. But after that he can’t remember what happened. He has flashes but for the most part, he can’t remember a thing. The parts he does remember are not good. He is afraid it is happening, he is turning evil. He just has to find Charlotte (he didn’t even know her name yet at that point) and convince her to be his mate, to save him.
Charlotte is working as a golf instructor at an upscale resort. She has memories of something that happened to her when she was a child, something horrible that proves that monsters are real. Because of this she has lived her life always looking over her shoulder, always wondering when the monsters will come back. When she meets Tommaso at the resort, she can’t believe this beautiful man, the most handsome man she has ever met, wants anything to do with her. Although she is afraid of letting anyone get too close, she finds it hard to resist him.
Of course, when Tommaso asks Cimil for help or answers, she talks in riddles. No one ever knows what Cimil’s plan is. Or if there even is one. And, of course, she is always accompanied by her invisible unicorn, Minky.
We also get plenty of Zac’s ongoing dilemma with his secretary, Tula. No matter what Tula does, Zac’s obsession with her gets stronger. It’s hilarious. I actually feel so bad for the poor guy!
The first half of this book is entirely in Tommaso’s point of view but the second half is in Charlotte’s so I loved knowing what was going on in both of their heads.
This is a crazy ride as we’ve come to expect from this author. I can’t help but to wonder what goes on in her head for her to continue coming up with these fabulous books. I’m probably better off not knowing. There isn’t as much sexy times in this one but she promises to make it up to us in the next book that will focus on Belch, the God of Wine, due out later this year. I can’t wait to see how Cimil and Zac manage to find him his mate!

Mimi however-you-pronounce-her-last-name cracks me up!! She writes the craziest, most outrageous, silliest, funniest smut ever. I'm willing to move to wherever she lives and become her evil minion/gofer in order to simply hang-out in her funny bubble. I'm a sucker for the funny.
but, not clown-funny. Nobody wants that.
This is the second book in this series, but it also includes all of the characters from the "Accidentally" series that Mimi wrote previously. If you haven't read any of them, I would start with the Accidentally series because they are hilarious and you will know what the hell is going on a lot better.
So, in this one, we have Tommaso and Char. He is a demi-god and she is a golf instructor. He is turning evil, and she is a golf instructor. He is trying to save his soul by getting her to love him, and she is... well, a golf instructor. You know what they say about golfers?
They are boring as hell because golf is an obsession.
So, Char isn't all that exciting, but she is also a little crazy. The whole package!
Tommaso has to convince Char to love him before he turns evil and it's not going that well. We get his POV for the first half of the book, and hers for the second. I loved how differently they saw everything. That was well done.
For some reason, guys have a hard time understanding us. Weird.
Along with their story, we have another little drama going on with the god of temptation, Zac, and his human office assistant, Tula.
Tommaso looked up at Zac, seven feet of pure conceited asshole in leather pants. And topless?
“Why aren’t you wearing a shirt?” Tommaso grumbled.
“Casual Friday.” Zac shrugged.
Tommaso’s gaze gravitated toward the hazy figure of a petite blonde standing beside the god, wearing only a pair of enormous flowery granny panties and matching brassiere. He recognized her to be Tula, the new assistant at Immortal Matchmakers, Inc., which was run by Zac and Zac’s insane redheaded mess of a sister, Cimil—the Goddess of the Underworld.
“What’s with Tula’s outfit?” Tommaso mumbled, wondering if he wasn’t dreaming.
“Casual Friday,” Zac answered for Tula. “Did I not just explain that?”
Apparently Zac goes crazy for Tula's granny-outfits and uptight attitude. He digs her turtlenecks and mu-mu's. I love that she is driving him up the wall.
And, on top of all of this is Cimil, the goddess of the underworld. She has always been bat-shit crazy and this is no different. She keeps Tommasso in a cage in her basement for a while, and things are seen. And heard. That cannot be undone.
This is universal truth.
There was a smaller dose of smut in this book than the previous ones, but I was totally fine with that. Although, Mimi has promised a lot more of the dirty in the next one. So...... I guess I'll be going to read that one now. Not for the smut. No, not at all... Just, you know... supporting the author and whatnot....

Yes, sometimes men can be monsters, but they are pussy cats compared to the machinations of our Cimil! Get ready to re-enter Mimi Jean Pamfiloff’s crazy world of the gods, the demigods and the mere mortals who seem to be able to outplay, out last and pretty much bring these gods to their knees, lost in love!
Tomasso is the tale of these immortals, used to the finer things in life, okay, he expected he deserved the finer things in life and took advantage at any opportunity. He had some bad times to make up for and all was terrific until THAT night…the night he found his true mate and may have been less than impressive, suave or debonair. In a word, he may have been a monster, so why should he get a second chance to impress? You know what they say about first impressions.
Charlotte is in his sights, she’s the one and if he cannot convince her of how awesome he is, Cimil has predicted that he will be one of the unlucky bachelors who go over to the dark side. Charlotte, a golf pro has a mean 9 iron swing and vague childhood memories that terrify her, memories that keep her in fear, distrustful and a prisoner of her own life. Let’s just say that Tomasso comes on a little too strong, in his usual manner of doing things and hotness in the flesh or not, Charlotte is not convinced she should trust him, let alone marry him.

WARNING: This book (like all of Mimi Jean Pamfiloff's books) will cause you to forget you had laundry in the dryer, forget that you had dinner in the oven and forget that you had a hair appointment!! (Thank the gods for smoke alarms and forgiving hair dressers).
Mimi has done it once again and created another page-turner in this world of immortals that we all know and love. Some of our questions are answered, but more questions are posed, leaving us "panting" for subsequent books in this incredible series. Mimi's writing style is an absolute delight to read. She's hilarious and she's sassy and she's a bit naughty - which means her female characters say just exactly what we're thinking.
If you're looking for a fun sexy read that will also delve a little further into why people act the way they do, look no further than Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. Her books are absolute gems and Tommaso is no exception.

Fantastic!
The second book in the Immortal Matchmaker's series. Cimil the Goddess of the Underworld, who is bat shit crazy and Zac the God of Temptation, who is hot temptation on a stick, are tasked with finding mates to 100 immortals in order to get their godly powers back and fate decides to through in another twist. Good immortals are turning evil, evil immortals are turning good unless they find their mates! This is Tommaso's story.
Tommaso is turning evil...again. He has found his mate, Char , and must convince her that they're destined to be together for eternity. Problem is he thinks he attacked Char, bound her and locked her in a closet...he's not sure..was it a dream?
This story is filled with lots of laughter, mystery, sexy God's in leather pants, crazy Cimil antics and her invisible unicorn Minky.
I highly recommend this book. It can be read as a stand alone but I suggest you start with the first book in the series. This series is a spin off from Mimi Jean Pamfiloff's Accidentally Yours series. There you can learn all about the God's and Goddesses! I was given an ARC by the author for an honest review. Please don't let that turn you away. If your a fan of paranormal, sexy sexy men, and love a book that makes you LOL you will love this story and other works by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff.

This book about the Gods, is a roller-coaster of fun, nincompoops, and childish deities.
If you are looking for a book that lets your imagination run wild, just as Minky would, then this book is your ticket to fun. It is a book from a series, but can be read as a standalone.
Mimi Jean delivers another great book, full of comedy, drama, and incredible characters that come to life (granted, bigger than life characters but they are after all Gods) that you just can’t help but like. She even described herself in the book!!!! (The master of everything dark an unwholesome and cruel, including books that end in cliffhangers!! Lol!)
Tommaso, is the extremely good guy, turned evil, turned good and turned evil again hero that has you rooting for him from the beginning or even before if you’ve read the other books. The decisions that he makes that shape the man he is today, and all the fears that he faces for himself and for his mate really endear him to you.
Charlotte is our heroine, our not so much girl next door kind of girl, even though because of her past, she tries very hard. She is closed off to men and to people in general.
So how can a guy that is plagued by fears from his past and more importantly for his future, win a girl that has no intention of ever committing to someone?
As with other of Mimi’s books, other characters make their appearance, most of them we know, and actually love, and some show their other softer sides, all coming to form a unique story that you keep wanting to read.
There are things left unresolved, and definitely keep you interested in the next book. For me especially is Tula and Zach… who are they? Well you’ll have to read to know!!!

The motto for this book should be "Once You Go Maaskab You'll Won't Go Back." Mimi Jean prolific and consistent writer. She does a wide variety of genres with an eye to romance. This book centers in an universe much like our own except it's not only populated with humans but with gods, vampires, demigods and Maaskab (the bad guys in this universe) as well.
Two of the Gods, Cimil and Zac had their god powers taken away from them and were required to setup shop as match makers for the gods and immortals. If you want to know the backstory to this I highly suggest that you read the "Accidentally Yours" series and the first book in the "Immortal Matchmakers" series. This is the second book in the series.
This is a fast fun read. Expect to laugh out loud and roll yours at the antics of the Gods and their cohorts. Tommaso and Charlotte are the protagonists in this book. The primary characters are fleshed out and interesting. The supporting characters are also fun and do their share of mayhem to the frustration of Tommaso but to be fair Tommaso does gets in his fair share of zingers (and I don't mean those nasty cakes that were popular in the 60's and 70's).
This is book will keep you on your toes and snorting with laughter (drinking milk or soda is highly discouraged while reading).

Tommaso (Immortal Matchmakers, Inc 2) by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

Oh my, Mimi has done it again, woven that wonderful web of hilariously messed up paranormal matchmaking. I'm really not sure who I adore more in these books, as all the characters are so brilliantly warped!
I'm going to give very little away here ... this book follows the adventures of Tommaso and his mission to meet and claim his mate. However Char doesn't react quite how he expects and their journey together is, as always, totally insane and addictive.
I simply can't wait for the next installment of crazy, what with the bald chickens, clowns, raw meat on the golf course, strawberry lube oh and not forgetting the wonderfully fucked up world of Cimil and her invisible unicorn !
If paranormal mixed with crazy ass humour is your thing then this series is definitely worth a one-click !

I loved Tommy in the first book and I've been eagerly awaiting his book, and that man, did not disappoint me, I loved this book.

I owe Mimi a huge apology! For some reason there was 2 rating on this book. Sorry Mimi! I fell in love with Mimi's books when I first read the King Trilogy. I love her wit and humor. I so look forward to the next one!!!!!

The world is flipping upside down and inside out again. Love it, Tommaso is the second book in the spinoff Immortal Matchmakers series and it so does not disappoint. Cimil as always is one crazy goddess that speaks only in riddles and she is most diffidently in charge of this crazy ride. (or is she)
Tommaso is in danger (again) of turning evil and the only woman that can save his is the destined mate of this best friend that chose to marry her cousin instead. (what a tangled web) Can he convince Char to love him despite her being destined for someone else? Can she save him from the worst fate he can imagine.
Char knows monsters are real and she is determined to make sure they do not get to her again. Her life is designed to keep everyone away. Can she give up her carefully crafted safe life for one smoking hot Italian man? Will changing her life be worth the struggle?
What a fun filled emotional roller-coaster ride this story was. Very entertaining read from beginning to the end. So many questions left for the others that you cant help but sit on pins and needles waiting to know what will happen next. Looking forward to the new story later this year.

More, more, more! I want more!! As fast as Mimi writes, she can't write fast enough to feed my addiction of sexy immortals. Plenty of laugh out loud moments with lots of snark and Mimi's famous twists, along with a great life lesson we all can learn from. And as crazy as Cimil is, I still love that goddess.

I received this book as an arc and this is my honest review.
This book doesn't stop from start to finish (after the end, is just as good as the rest). Lots of action and madness throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed the story and the series so far. This story had me hooked and I didn't want to put it down. Mimi has done it again. Not one mistake found in the whole thing which I love. Mimi is such a different writer and it shows from start to finish. I could picture the book as I read and that's what I like when reading a good book. Well done Mimi.

Wow, Mimi did it again! Tommaso is having a bad day, he thinks he's found his mate but he's afraid he's kidnapped her and locked her in a closet. Why can't he remember what he did? Is he turning evil again, will he find his mate in time? Those are the are the questions we need answers for. Will Charlotte love him for who he is or will the crazy Goddness named Cimil make Charlotte throw her hands up in the air and run for the hills? Only way to find out is to read the book. Once again Mimi makes you fall in love and takes you on an epic journey.

At 228 pages, I split this book between two evenings…barely. It is a great read. I absolutely love Mimi’s writing voice, and the characters she creates are always fantastic – fantastically evil, fantastically insane…you get the picture. Despite having delivered an excellent story, the author goes one step further at the end of her books to create dialogue between herself and readers, going into playlists, character cameos, and...is this a section on what is in Cimil's basement? This series is definitely picking up momentum, and fans are already clamoring for the next wild tale. Who will it be? Please say Zac! More, more, more!

This book really is everything you expect it to be and more. I should know better but Mimi Jean Pamfiloff is constantly surprising me with some of crazy ass shit she writes. I love it. I love being taken off guard, I had busted out laughing at several parts in this book because she takes me by surprise. That's one reason I love reading her books. This is a standalone you don't have to read the previous series, Accidentally...Yours, or the first book in the series Immortal Matchmakers Inc. Everything you need to know is in the book. Cimil is so crazy you don't know if their is actual method to her madness or if she's just doing it to fuck with you or if she really is just that bat-shit crazy.
Charlotte is afraid of the things that go bump in the night, she has a hard time letting people get close because she's afraid they might think she is crazy. Tommaso's salvation is resting on the shoulders of his one true mate, Charlotte. He has to convince her that she can trust him. But as it always goes anything that can go wrong will go wrong. This is a crazy topsie turby wild ride full of golf, wacky clothes, leather pants, sexy sexy teaser sex. I love Tommaso he is willing to risk everything for those he loves his loyalty is so strong especially now after her has been bad and has lost everything. I love that Emma and Voltan... I mean Guy, have a part in this book as they are both such a big part in Tommaso's past.

I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC copy of Tommaso, Mimi Jean's latest book in her Immortal Matchmakers Series. Thank you for trusting me with you baby!
I read Immortal Matchmakers #1 in preparation for this book, and really enjoyed it. These guys are such clowns, they have no clue about the opposite sex other than they are there to be pleasured by the demigods enormous cocks. Tommaso I found wasn't quite as idiotic as Andrus... he has totally NO clue!
So, we pick up pretty much where we left off with Adrus's story, with Tomasso confused as to the weird feelings he has for Charlotte,when she was supposed to be Andrus' mate. There is a lot of conflict as to what is the right or wrong thing to do, and the fireworks fly every time the pair are together, but it takes them a while to accept that it's just the way it's meant to be.
Cimil really needs to study her visions a lot more closely!!
We get a good amount of time with all the powerless, clueless guys, and I am SO looking forward to
Tula and Mr. Zac getting their HEA! Man he's a kinky one!
Crazy hilarious read, with way too many nutty quotes to put in a review!

Another fantastic Mimi page turner. The second in the Immortal Matchmaker series, and this one is Tommaso and Charlottes story. At the end of the first book we saw Tommaso "finding" his mate. Mimi starts this book by throwing us in the deep end, with a few "OMG's" and "no this can't happen". Once again it is up to our bat-shit crazy Goddess Cimil and the God of Temptation, Zak, to match up out pair. Zac seems to have a few of his own issues regarding Tula, his assistant, so his head isn't in the game, and Cimil being who she is can't be trusted - or can she? Tommaso is starting to turn evil, as Cimil predicted would happen, so time is running out for him before he flips to the dark side for good. We are left with a few unanswered questions at the back of the book, which Cimil and Minky very kindly bring to our attention.
Another fantastic story that keeps you guessing, even though you know how it will/must end.

Oh Mimi, You know I love your writing and this did not disappoint. I love the rollercoaster's you take your readers on!! I was so glad to be back in the Immortals world! I love the bat shit crazy Cimil!!! And I have come to love Tommaso as well.
I don't want to give anything away here so all I will say is this. This book follows Tommaso on his journey to find his perfect mate so that he doesn't turn back into a evil Maaskab. Once again she has written a great, funny, snarky, sexy,did I say funny book. The story line is well written and has a great plot with twists galore. Her style of writing both keeps
you on your toes and has those snarky scenes we have come to love. You fall in love or should I say lust with her characters.I am so glad I took a chance on Accidentally In Love With...A God? which was the first book of hers I read three years ago. You cant go wrong with her books! Immortals rock!

I've been feeling under the weather so why not finish reading this book?
Once again, the humor in this series is awesome. I'm always laughing out loud. The banter between the characters are fantastic.
This story is about Tommaso and Charolette. Well, we know by now that the good Gods and other immortal creatures could flip to the bad side and vise versa. So Zac and Cimil have to help 100 immortals find a mate to balance the universe. Cimil has her tricks up here sleeve, as always. Tommaso thinks he's turning into a Maaskab so he needs Charolette to fall in love with him so that he would not turn.
We also see snippets of Zac and Tula's story. I'm really hoping that something works out between the two. 🤞🏾
On to the next....

I love reading anything by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff and Tommaso didn't disappoint. Tommaso is the 2nd book in the Immortal Matchmakers Inc Series, which is a spinoff of the Accidently... Series, a really awesome series by the way! You will get the most enjoyment and understand who's who and overall storyline by reading that series first. And the fact it has lots of Cimil!
Tommaso isn't doing so great, in fact he's starting to turn bad, turning into a Maaskab, the very thing he hates. With the revelation in the last novel things went haywire with the last near apocalypse Immortals that are unmated are starting to change. Those that are good start to turn bad, and the bad start to turn good. Unless they find their mate. And Tommaso is one of the unlucky ones. And he thinks he may have met his mate. And may have tied her up in his closet!
I really liked Tommaso's character and I've been hoping for his story since Accidently... In love with a God. And his blackouts, what we gathered he did in them were pretty funny. Mainly because he seemed more of a prankster than being evil. At first. A few times i just wanted to get in there and ruffle his hair and rumple his nice clothes. He likes his nice clothes.
I really liked Char, she's Tommaso's mate and he has to win her over if he wants to keep his 'Good' card. The only thing is she doesn't seem interested. But there's a lot more to her and i like that the book split into her point of view halfway through. We saw who Char was, what made her her. She's a strong character with flaws but she's no pushover. And as Tommaso and Charlotte talk and interact you can see how perfectly they complement each other. How much they need each other.
And yes Cimil pops in a few times with her zaniness and Minky in tow. All in all a great read that's funny and quirky with a thread of darkness that is all Mimi Jean Pamfiloff.

I absolutely loved it!
I wondered whether the momentum in the first book would come through in this second book but I wasn’t disappointed. I got to visit some of my favourite characters and go on a "rollercoaster" adventure. It’s been years since I stayed up so late to finish a book; I kept promising myself just five more minutes!
In terms of characters, Tommaso is suave sophistication personified and, although I prefer the rugged, biker-type characters, I still find him to be a character that you'd like to coddle and certainly worthy of his own book. As for Charlotte, I wanted to wallop her in book one but that feeling mostly subsided in this book.
All in all a rollicking good read!

May 17, 2016This is the first book of this series that I have read and will admit that I was a bit confused in places but found my confusion did not last for long. I enjoyed this story from start to finish as the plot moved right along, mainly due to Tommy's deadline crunch to get Charlotte to fall in love with him. I enjoyed the main characters as well as found the supporting characters humorous as well (Zac and Cimil) Reading this book has made me want to go back and read the first one as well. I have enjoyed Ms. Pamfiloff's books every since I got hooked on the King series and am looking forward to more in the future.

Tommaso and Charlotte are the stars in this story. It was alright, more a 2.5 but since I was much more interested in what was going on with Zac and Tula than their story, that extra .5 is for the details for Zac and Tula. Tommaso had this confusing blend of gentlemanly and crude that felt off. Charlotte was a dud, not much to recommend for her and at times I didn't understand or appreciate her character. The book takes place over a few days and it seems quick before fast forwarding three weeks in the future when Tommaso and Charlotte solidify anything. Most of the book is him chasing and her being frightenedv by her past and nightmares along with a couple of stops and starts between them. Cimil is just as strange but likeable as the other book in this series that I read.
