My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!

The cover is stunning! I love when both beasts are on the cover.
This is the 6th book in the Protection Inc series. It is for adults only due to the violence and steamy content. While it is not mandatory, I highly recommend reading the whole series in order because it just makes it that much more awesome when you know who everyone is and what has happened so far.
This is one of my favorite series by Zoe. I love that this is Justin’s story who has made cameo visits in a couple of the earlier books. He is Shane’s buddy, but he is still haunted by what has happened. Enter Fiona who is his mate. They already have a little history, and she is still trying to figure him out. They are both trying to keep each other at arms length, but will instinct win out? Who can resist their mate? I loved this adventure. It was definitely action packed. Both are trying to finish their missions. This is a page turner that I couldn’t put down.
Zoe’s book are always the perfect combination of baggage, action, and romance. I love her style, and she is one of my favorite authors! I can’t wait for more!
I highly recommend to all shifter fans especially if you already love this series or you love action!

Two snow leopard shifters who are broken inside and don't think love is for them. Justin was kidnapped and held prisoner by a black ops agency and can literally turn his feelings off. Fiona has a past she's never shared not even with her friends at Protection, Inc. While on an undercover mission, Fiona is told to get close to Justin and try to recruit him. Or, if that can't be done, to kill him. When they discover that they're mates, neither of them think they're worthy. Still, they need to work together to get through everything that's going to be thrown their way.
This was my favorite book of the Protection, Inc series. Well-written with lots of twists and turns, this book draws you in and keeps you hooked.

I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the characters in this series and this addition to the series is no exception. Fiona and Justin have made appearances before so it was fantastic to see them together. Their pasts weigh on both of them but they were set free when they revealed their secrets. There were a few parts that had me laughing even though it was a serious book. I absolutely LOVE the entire Protection, Inc. family and that is really what they are - a family. I imagine this could be a standalone but you will want to read the other books first to make the experience more meaningful,

He shrugged, grinning, until she dumped a handful of snow down the back of his shirt. “Okay! No, I didn’t really.” After a moment, he added, “But I would’ve if I’d thought of it.” Fiona lunged for him with another handful, but he ducked away and bolted across the yard. She chased him, accompanied by the delightedly barking pack, all around their big backyard. Justin ran easily, dodging around trees, kicking dog toys out of the way, and finally taking a flying leap across the swimming pool. “Show off!” she yelled from the other side. He laughed, not even out of breath, and teasingly beckoned to her. “Here, kitty, kitty!” Instead of following him immediately, she took a moment to look at him from across the pool. His T-shirt was riding up, giving her a glimpse of one of the scars on his side. He’d put on a few more pounds of solid muscle, thanks to his own home-cooked meals and the Protection, Inc. gym, and was strong and lithe rather than thin. With his brilliant copper hair, black eyes, and sharp features, he looked like he should shift into a fox rather than a snow leopard. As he’d predicted, people did turn to look at him when he walked by. But it didn’t seem to bother him now that he was no longer hiding in the shadows. Fiona jumped across the pool and cornered Justin against the fence. He threw up his hands. “I surrender!” “You better,” she said, and kissed him. He caught her up in his arms and held her tight. Fiona relaxed into his embrace, enjoying the strength of his grip and the heat of his mouth. She stroked his soft hair and broad shoulders, and he slipped his hands beneath her blouse to caress every inch of her that he could reach. For a long time they stood and kissed as if they’d been parted for months instead of a single night. Then snow started falling again, melting on their faces and sprinkling their hair like confetti. “Let’s go in. I’ll start a fire.” Justin put his arm around her shoulders. And together they came in from the cold.

Very good story about two people whose lives were forever changed by others and circumstances. Fiona is a snow leopard. Orphaned at a young age she ended up growing up in a group home. Learning a lot about technology she became great at hacking. She turned to stealing to get back at the person responsible for her parent's deaths. Then became addicted to it until she tried to steal from an even smarter person who was also a shifter. He bit her and left her on the top of a mountain in the snow where the head of Protection inc. found her and took her in. She's been a member of their organization ever since.
Justin was a paramedic in the military. Part of a group who were tranquilized and captured by a black ops operation known as APEX. Their goal was to create the perfect predator. He was experimented on and tortured and turned into a shifter. His animal is also a snow leopard. Justin suffers from extreme bouts of PTSD with flashbacks. In addition to his shifter powers, he can also become "invincible". In that state he feels nothing - no emotion, no pain, no hunger and doesn't need to sleep. He's spent so much time in that state that he's malnourished and extremely fatigued.
Fiona and Justin meet when he saves her. Later while she's undercover she's instructed to find him and convince him to either join up with her "employer" or die. When she goes to meet him, he ambushes her, then stays with her when she says she needs his protection. Neither one understands the feelings they feel initially. But when they realize they're mates they both reject the idea because of their pasts and personal beliefs that neither of them is capable of love. Of course they're proven wrong.
The author did a great job with the PTSD aspect of the story. The story takes our couple to many far off places, Venice, London, and Alaska, as well as their home base in California. With adventure, spying, sabotage, explosions, fights and romance, this story came together really well and I enjoyed it very much.

He had nothing to lose so he and his Snow Leopard were hunting down the man who broke him. He didn't care about anything even death was welcomed. That was until he met the beautiful and fierce woman who tilted his world on its axis.
Fiona Payne, a Snow Leopard shifter who worked at Protection, Inc. was the perfect spy. She couldn't let her guard down not even with her friends. She was hiding a huge secret.
She was saved by the mysterious and sexy shifter Justin when one of her missions went bad. Her Snow Leopard was purring whenever the man was close, she was certain he was their one true mate.
When their paths crossed again on a dangerous mission, Fiona knew she couldn't leave the mysterious man alone. They went undercover as a married couple one their honeymoon. What they didn't expect was for their game to become real.
Justin was Shane's ( PROTECROR PANTHER ) best friend. He missed him very much despite his snow leopard insistence to reach out, he refused. Well fate always has plans for us, no matter what.
When Fiona finally told her friends about Justin, they were happy for the couple. And welcomed him into the family. It was great to see his reunion with Shane and Catalina. So glad she told them about her past also.
Loved how great she and Justin worked well together. When danger found them, they had each other's backs as did their friends. The twists and turns were well done.
SPY SNOW LEOPARD is the sixth installment in Zoe Chant's PROTECTION, INC. series. It was enthralling, funny and fast-paced. Fantastic job!

I received an ARC and I voluntarily leave my honest review!!
Yay "Red" or Justin gets his own book, so glad and is a mate to Fiona, a fellow Snow Leopard who is already a member of Protection Inc. He first made his appearance in Shane's Book (Protector Panther if memory serves me right) So I was so glad to see him featured as a main character.
The whole he wasn't born a shifter didn't take me by surprise this time or his additional "gift/power". I actually found his ability really intriguing. I loved the chemistry between the H and h and also the caring/protection they both offered each other.
I found this one gave us some much needed back history for both Fiona and Justin, it certainly gave the characters much more depth and really enhanced the plot for me.
Great of course to see all the other Protection Inc members and their mates, with only one more unmated member (Destiny) to go I'm looking forward to her story and to see what kind of "mate tests" the other member come up with for him.
Overall a amazing addition to the series, one I didn't want to put down.

Justin was changed by Apex. He has a reason to seek out revenge for all that they did to him. But then he meets Fiona, from Protection, Inc. He saved her before but this time he was taken by surprise that she is his mate. He doesn’t want a mate, he’s too damaged. Fiona knew when her assignment showed a picture of Justin that things would become interesting. She didn’t realize that he was her mate. But Fiona has a dark past and doesn’t think anyone would ever want to be her mate with that.
These two have secrets all over but it seems that they both have the same abilities. As much as you want to slap Justin and tell him to wake up, you want to shake Fiona and tell her to call Protection Inc and talk to Shane. Shane and Justin were friends and probably still are once they see each other. It takes one bullet to change all that.
Fiona’s secret was nothing. I can’t believe she thought that was a big deal. I think at times, they all did it. But her believing that would changing things, NOPE. And then we read Justin’s story and what happened with him, Shane and their team. It was sad and manipulative of Apex. But thank goodness for the team, they came together, always, and helped them out.

Ok, Zoe Chant has been teasing us with Justin since Protector Panther, book 3 in the PROTECTION INC, SERIES, (Shane & Catalina's story) and once again she does not disappoint!! The wait for Justin's story has been well worth it. WOW!! Justine & Fiona' s book just blew me away, the rollercoaster ride of emotions from fear, anger, heartwrenching sorrow, to absolute joy ,along with tears (mine) laughter (again mine) sexy scenes,(wish they were mine) and a HEA. What more do you need? Each Protection Inc. book in this series is a stand alone story, & but, are much more enjoyable if read in order as the Protection Inc. characters do make an appearance in each others story. Especially in this book, without the snippets from previous book you may not experience the full impact of Justin's & Fiona' s story. I loved this book and as with all Zoe Chant's books, will be re-reading this book again. Thanks Zoe. BJS

Ex-soldier Justin has made an appearance in other Protection, Inc. books, and now he gets his own. His ability to make himself invulnerable has protected him physically, but has cut him off from his emotions. He still hasn't dealt with his kidnapping, torture, and experimentation at the hands of evil corporation Apex. By chance he meets bodyguard/spy Fiona (who happens to work with his best friend), who helps open him up to friendship, life, and love.
Because of Justin's experiences and state of mind, this is a much deeper (and sometimes darker) book than the rest of the Protection Inc. series. His quest for vengeance is the only thing keeping Justin alive until he meets Fiona, and she shows him a better way to live. In turn, dealing with his problems helps Fiona face hers, and leads them both back to their friends at Protection, Inc.. This is my favorite of the series so far -- an excellent book.

Justin and Fiona
Fiona is undercover as a spy for a murdering arms dealer. He sends her out to try to get a guy to join his team who had stopped an arms deal between his guys and another dealer. The guy just happened to be Justin. He was after some information on people from Apex (the evil company who kidnapped him, changed him into a shifter and then an assassin, while killing his friends), when he heard about the meeting.
Fiona and Justin figure out that they are mates after he comes out of his invincibility power. She has a past that she thinks makes her unlovable and so does he. So they agree to help each other out but remain friends.
I love the way they work together and heal each other through their love and caring. I have read and loved each of the Protection Inc books.

For Justin (and Shane) to have gone through what he has and still have the heart to care as he does, is unbelievable.

I think Justin and Fiona is one of my favourite couples.Justin was the book I was looking forward to I wanted shanes friend to join the team and routed for a better life for him.( I think he should of gave the money to hal to help with funds for the team)
I think more explaining should of been reveiled in the laps, it's clear you can turn people into cats by a bite and they did something else after, that killed them when trying to give the extra powers.but it was said some died from the bite two. But what was they giving them? Who knows but would of been could if explained could be a shifters blood or Phoenix tears etc that have the powers dragons blood? How can they take a animal away? If your shifter born? Needed more explaining.
I wonder if Carter will have a series?

Justin finally tells his story! Yeah!
So does Fiona. Three cheers for that, too! These two are super together. Both have been through horrible things, so they understand their mate very well. The story is full of action, but focuses as much on character development as the action. It has a good balance of them both.
The pace is breakneck, the tone is tense or intense, the characters are vivid and believable, there are steamy scenes and some laughs. Read these stories in order if you like action packed shifter romances with a lot of character development. Now we just have to wait for Destiny's story. I can't wait to see what happens next! Enjoy!

Awesome story about to snow leopard shifters
Justin is seeking revenge on Apex who turned them into a shifter and assassin. He was tortured by the doctors in Apex.
Fiona works for Protection, Inc. When she found Justin on a mission she realizes they are mates. Will she ever be loved by her mate?
The plot is the finding of Apex doctors to destroy them, but they are captured instead. The characters are intriguing, unique, and somewhat dysfunctional. They are both on a mission heal themselves.
I like the fact that they are so relatable and have real problems. I enjoy this book very much and I'm looking forward to the last one.
Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this one. Justin & Fiona are both so broken. Neither feels like they're worthy of love, and both reject the initial Mate bond look.
He's bound to bring Apex down for good, and has resigned himself that he's probably going to die to do that. She's ashamed of her past, and has become the Ice Queen.
After encountering Justin while undercover, she recognizes him and decides to join in his quest to take out the black op agency. Their target leads them to Venice, Italy ... and a week long wait. I loved the journey these two take to heal and accept each other. It's an action packed ending, with an intriguing character who saves their lives.
Looking forward to the next book!

When Justin escaped Apex, he became determined to take their other facilities down. Fiona has struggled with her past and is determined to keep everyone at arms length. Neither thinks they should have a mate. Will Justin finally be ready to heal and feel again? Will Fiona finally be able to overcome her past?
Was excited to see both of these characters again! I loved the fact that while Fiona was the "Ice Queen", she cared about those around her. Loved the fact that despite the people from Apex trying to turn Justin into a stone cold killer, he wasn't. Great read!

This is a story of hope, love and redemption featuring Fiona, a snow leopard on the Protection, Inc. team, and Justin, formerly known as Red, a made shifter who was tortured and turned into a super soldier by the evil Apex Corp. Together, the make a dynamic team who rescue each other as they bring down the sadistic organization. All the other shifter protectors make appearances to give the tone of love and hope an extra boost. Love this series and author. Highly recommended.

This is the best book, in this series. Two lost souls find love.
Justin and Fiona, find love. They are so much alike, the both have issues in their past. They never thought they would find love or deserve to be loved. But the more, time the spend together, the more they fall in love. They are mates. P.s. you will love Justin's cooking skills, he will make you hungery. If you want a great read, this book is it. There is action, romance and true love and a man who is a hero and can cook. Loved this, hope you will too.

Amazing
This story about Justin and Fiona is exactly what I was waiting for. Justin is one of my favorite characters in this series. My heart broke for him when I read about how tortured he was by Apex. To find out Fiona was his mate was quite a shock for him because of the horrible things he suffered. They are an awesome pair together and saved each other from the awful things they had to experience. This is a fabulous addition to the Protection, Inc. series. I am looking forward to reading the final story in the series.

4.5 Stars. Nice fun and interesting story that gives us answers about Fiona and Justin and them a well deserved and needed HEA.
Found the first half interesting if a bit slow. The second half was really good, well-paced and with lots of action.
Great to give Apex another hard hit but still don’t think they are gone for good.
Just need Destiny’s story. Would be good/funny if Carter ended up being her mate

Another great story in this series
We finally get to hear Justin and Fiona's stories in this, the latest installment in the Protection Inc. series. Once again, good editing, and a fast paced story with well written, believable characters makes for an enjoyable read. No spoilers here, I'll only say it was worth the wait and I really enjoyed seeing the other characters from the series again.

Loved it!
This whole series is deeper, grittier than most of the others by this author, but I absolutely loved it. Justin had been tortured so very very badly, and poor Fiona is holding so much pain, it’s amazing how the author is able to bring them together. The story was full of action, adventure, and explosions, but also love, sex, and friendship. It was a great, quick read that kept my attention from start to finish.

Wao! This series just get better and better!!!! We Have meet Justin in previous books and I was so looking forward to read his story. And I wasn't disappointed!!!!! This was a fantastic read packed with action, adventure and romance. Justin has been through so much for long I am so glad that in Fiona he found his HEA. Highly recommended
Ps: I sooo hope Carter Howe gets his own story!!! I want to know what "thing" Apex put in him!!

They are each very competent at their jobs, good at fighting, intelligent and strong.
They're also stubborn, intelligent, funny, and very compatible.
There's action, travel, adventure, danger and romance, like I expect from the Protection, Inc. series by Zoe Chant.
The lovers are attracted and fascinated by each other, and they also help, accept, and make the other better. It was a very satisfying read.
