I FINALLY FINISHED THIS TRILOGY. Whew I am so glad I made it through alive. While the story of Adam and Claire had the potential to be great it ultimately fell flat because of the poor writing and the rushed plot. I was not able to connect with these characters or get lost in their world so I'm left feeling pretty empty after reading the last page. I kinda pushed myself to complete this way too long book even though I was not enjoying it and I'm resentful for that reason. The wings trilogy was not great. It was not good. It wasn't even ok but I liked the IDEA of the story even if it was poorly executed. I give it 1.5 stars.
Wow what a great ending to this romantic, action packed series. I could not put this down. I cannot wait to read new books from this author. I highly recommend this series.
I was very entertained while reading this book. After the second book (Black) that things cooled down and the story went slower, things started to get a more interesting pace, with things happening all over the place. Sometimes too much. I liked how Claire's story ended (nothing unexpected), I liked Ben's development (I liked it so much that I even hoped he would stay with Claire. Adam's return was cool, first in his dark state and then in his recovery, but the mariage proposal was unexpected (she is so young, she just left school!) LIZ WAS THE BEST CHARACTER (a human who knew everything, and without her these angels would all be nothing). I am still in doubt about Sophie's development , who took it all very naturally, and finally, Jaden and Garret, who were essential to everything in this book, being great guardian angels. However, at the end of this trilogy, I believe that something was missing to give more depth to the characters. I think the story ended up stretching too much at times, creating parts that are quite slow, while parts of greater action ended very quickly.

I have to say that I was a bit bored through the book. It was simply just too long and I found myself skimming through just to get to then dialogue: the ending was nice and what happens with Claire and Sofia but he book didn’t need 522 pages. The going back and forth between madam and Ben there wasn’t a lot of demons coming to attack. The Ian part was sad wasn’t expecting that. The epilogue didn’t make sense it if we are watching jaden for 2 pages could have incorporated this in the 522 pages: the final fight was ok nothing too crazy but too wayyyyyyy too long to get to it and the preparing was like a week, I just think a lot more should have been incorporated in such a long book glad it’s over
The end!! Wow, that was an emotional rollercoaster! I loved this final book of the Wings trilogy and how everything came together; secrets were revealed, and answers were given! Seeing Claire, her family, and Adam’s family joining together to defeat evil was so cool. I really enjoyed it. I wish there was more of a finality with Claire and her friends and some other things, but over all, this was such a good series!! 4.5 stars!! ✨
I really enjoyed reading this series so much.. I really fell in love with all the characters.. But I feel like this last book didn’t give me enough of the end of the characters story to find out how each couple ended up in their life and if they are happy.. But most of all I want to know what ended up happening to Jaden.. Thank you so much for your awesome books..
I’d give this more than 5 stars if it were an option. The first book of this series starts out rough, but by the end of the first book you’ll be hooked. And by the end of the series, I didn’t want to say goodbye to the all the characters. Angelina is a brilliant author with a beautiful, creative mind and she executed her vision for this story perfectly. I loved the premise, the conflicts all played out in a way that gave respect to the characters and everything they had been through. I highly recommend this series, just push through roughness of the beginning of the first book, it’s worth it! Trust me!
This was probably the best out of the three I’ve read so far. I think I need a break from the series before I decide if I will attempt to read book 4 from Adams POV. I just can’t not finish a book or series. It drives me crazy even if I’m not enjoying it.
Honestly the first two were just so much wining and crying and doing nothing and this one they actually started piecing things together and there was actually action. Some of my predictions finally came true as well which was nice. It was a bit drawn out until the last 30% or so, and then it just all unfolded so quickly.
Over all I wouldn’t necessarily recommend theses books but it could have been worse.
This was a very good series. I did see some ideas that were very similar to other popular books. For instance, a Harry Potter's Professor Quirrel type death. From the beginning of the first book I devoured this series with gusto. There was tragedy and strife to invest me in the characters emotionally. There was burgening romance, super powers, good v. evil, histories and prophesies and the mundane existence of public school. I recommend it.
These books just keep getting better! I absolutely adored this final book in the trilogy and am looking forward to reading Adam’s trilogy next. I really hope the saga finds a way to continue!
Wow, just wow! What a beautiful end to the first part of this series. This book is perhaps my favorite book. There was plenty of action, surprises and romance. Angelina defiantly knows how to enthrall and audience. Let me start by saying the first three books flowed so well into each other. A lot of books I've read I feel like the authors recap way to much when they write series. Angelina did recap but not so much that a chunk of the book was a recap on the previous books. The way the book were written was just absolutely beautiful! The biggest part I liked about this book was Angelina tied everything up so nicely! There was no gaps and I was truly happy how this book ended. Such a wonderful read! If you are a paranormal fan this book is one hundred percent a MUST! I look forward to many more books by Angelina she is truly a talented writer!
I honestly read all the way to Gray just to know what happened to these whinny characters. First off, I admit I skimmed through most pages because it became repetitive, 2 whole pages reliving what had JUST HAPPENED was a bit too much for my liking. Sometimes It felt like things popped up out of nowhere (powers, people) and the author just forgot to give closure to friendships and secondary characters (Greg, Amber, Lydia, Ian and his family anyone?)
The premise was interesting in White but then just reminded me of an Angel-led twilight, it would have been much more interesting if it stuck to that first relationship and how that would have worked.
Bottom line, good YA read for a couple or days but could have been better
As a surprising twist Claire and Sophie are angels and add their power to Chris, Jenna, Adam, Ben and the girl's guardian angels to fight the demons and destroy the threat against their lineage. Feel good end to the series. Bummed Sophie's story didn't have the expected closed-loop happy ending with the death of both her fiance and the fact that the council would not let her guardian angel stay with her even though she marked him and is now immortal herself. I also felt that the battle at the end was over very suddenly for the build up the author had created and was caught with the rest of the characters assuming Adam would be the savior when in fact it was his love, Claire. That aside I enjoyed this last installment.

I love Angelina’s work, I have read all of her series but what a struggle to even try to finish this one book, much less all the others before this one. I normally binge books and read them holding my breath super excited fot what’s next. The Mfc is absurd in so many levels it becomes horrible, to the point of she’s fighting her biggest enemy and is shaking his head at him telling him she doesn’t know how she’s hurting him, and by the way her sister lays practically dying at her feet while she’s thinking of how she’s hurting him. What a joke of a book and series it just gets worse as you go. Not at all the work of the same author who wrote the Shattered Kingdom and The Quarter Mage which were excepcional books by the way. A true waste of time.
I really liked this series a lot. It was a great story and well developed characters. There were just two areas that I found to be negatives for me. First, the main character Claire has friends that are introduced in the storyline and play a very prominent role who just disappear from the story. She basically disappears from their lives and no one questions it after being the best of friends. The other part was the repetitiveness of the storyline. It felt as if there were pages upon pages that lead to chapters of saying the same thing over and over just using different words.
My what an interesting, intricate web you have wove! Such deep, emotional paths, storylines and conclusions. I thoroughly enjoyed the trilogy. I would have given a 5-star rating if not for the misspellings, grammar and lack of close scrutinization. It was apparently one of your 1st, so, enough said. You are a great storyteller. I have read many of your other stories with great fervor and enjoyment! Please continue your writing of clean, action-packed adventures!
Gray by Angelina J Steffort , book 2 Wings Trilogy the Finale, good or bad is not who you are, its who you choose to be. Lots of physical and emotional development. A battle of Demons and Angels. Great characters Geoffrey (Butler) & Liz (Librarian), Noel and Alex (run the coffee shop), love, hope, desire, strength and family. A great story flows nicely from book 2, lovely characters fall in the love with them all. Next is Spark the books from Adams perspective. Kindle 4*.
Made it to the end. There's a lot that happens before the climax, but it's packed within a short time frame within the book. Not a whole lot of surprises. Some, but most of the plot I saw coming. I'll add my voice to the others saying it was like Twilight.
Series as a whole is a clean read, which is nice. Not even much swearing.
I don't feel like going through the story again with Adam's view, but his books have been good enough I'm willing though.
The story was written much better for this book. I didn’t feel there was so many fundamental to the story gaps like the other two books.
Claire and adams story was wrapped up in a sweet way. I really wish jaden and garreth could have joined Claire and the family. I don’t like that they were excluded.
Ok i admit the first two books i loathed Claire, but this one....i fell in love with her character, she was no longer the whiny selfish teen human....im glad i read all 3 to watch her grow. And the story was so enthralling i couldn't put it down despite my feelings of the main character.
I liked the story line of the first three books. I did enjoy it - just had to overlook a bunch of stuff. The books felt rushed. The story could have been cleaned up so much more, and been given more depth. It’s more on the YA side, which is less detailed spice. I’d give this a 3.5 stars if it would allow me to
with as much as things were repeated over and over and over this whole series could have been just 1 book. not kidding. and that includes the 3 of "Adam's ".
the female lead Claire was just so childish, whiny, annoying and just irritating and pathetic. not only was she whiny about this and that but also, why does she keep "stop breathing"? seriously? how pathetic.
