I recommend buying this book if you are a student or currently working. It is set out like a handbook for anything you would need to know or do in a clinical setting. It’s so easy to read due to how the author has organised the content. I’ve been using this for my Masters studies and find it so handy! It’s full of “how to do’s”, treatment plan structures, and extra resources. I am sure I will still be referring to it when practicing.
For those who need a quick study into DSM Diagnosis and treatment, this is a book to have as a guide. Thorough and easy to follow. It can also be used to read up and summarize to do group meeetings. I rely to this book all the time when I am in a clinical setting.
Very handy, especially for beginners. Having been providing treatment for five years I still go back to it in a pinch. I use the handouts all the time. A CD would be a nice addition.
