Rate this book
Join Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy in their first adventure back in Narnia since The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Nothing exciting has happened in the year since they've returned to England. But while the four children are waiting for a train to take them to boarding school, they feel tugged . . . and pulled . . . and suddenly they are yanked back to Narnia! The Great Lion, Aslan, has a new adventure in store for them—they must help Prince Caspian fight for his throne and make Narnia safe and free.

In this adaptation of Prince Caspian, perfect for Narnia's youngest fans, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy meet new friends as they struggle to save Narnia once again.

When Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are suddenly pulled back to Narnia, they have no idea that thousands of years have passed and terrible times have fallen on their former kingdom. With the help of allies new and old, they must wrestle Narnia from the grasp of a tyrant and return their kingdom to its former glory.

Jack would rate this book a 5 star book. We take it out from the library every time he sees it there. Which is usually as soon as we don't have it at home.
We know the story from the 'real' Narnia books. We know the characters from the pictures in this book.

Thusfar, Prince Caspian was definitely my favorite in the series. It was the most satisfying, in a fairy tale sense. The kids all get to be the big heroes, return to their castle full of noble riches, and they make friends with centaurs and gophers and dwarves and talking Lions who represent God, and they defeat an evil king to put the rightful king back in power. It's just a shame that you know these kids are just going to have to come back and fight in another war soon. Because that's what they do. They have wars.
