For decades, Weight Watchers has been one of the most successful diet programs out there. The secret is that unlike a lot of diets, no foods are restricted. Instead, they’re given points based on the amount of sugar, saturated fat, protein, and total calories. The higher the points, the less healthy the food, generally. WW calculates your daily allowance based on your health goals, and you also get a weekly allowance. With the new Freestyle program, you have more foods that are 0 points, such
“Freestyle Cookbook 2019: Irresistible, Healthy, and Easy Recipes for Weight Loss and Improved Health” makes it easier to create delicious, satisfying meals that are low in points. The other feature of the Freestyle program is that you can roll over points, if you don’t reach your target during the week. Have an event coming up where you anticipate eating foods you normally would not? Save up to four days’ worth of points and treat yourself! For the rest of the week, this book includes recipes the whole family will love,
You don’t have to be alone in your weight-loss journey. A big part of Weight Watchers is the community, and you have the option to participate online only or meeting with a group in-person. With this book as your guide, healthy eating and living is more convenient than ever. Designed to fit into your life and not the other way around, Freestyle turns the idea of a “diet” on its head.
“Freestyle Cookbook 2018: Irresistible, Healthy, and Easy Recipes for Weight Loss and Improved Health by Janet Cole is an excellent resource for anyone who wants to eat healthier yet doesn’t want to be encumbered by a long complex recipe. It is nicely divided into food types…breakfast, main course, soups, sides or snacks, and desserts. The main course dishes are divided into types of meat, with several types of dishes provided for each meat. I am familiar with the point system that Weight Watchers uses and I am aware of the adjustments that were made at the beginning of the year but I like the way this author explained everything, including the origin of Weight Watchers, clearly and concisely.
I have not actually tried any of the recipes but I like the way everything is clearly laid out with a minimum of ingredients, suggestions for how to serve the dish (e.g. with vegetables or a particular brand of rice), prep time, cooking time, and Freestyle point value as well as the breakdown of calories, carbs, protein, fat, and fiber.
This cookbook will provide both inspiration and guidance to anyone who is trying to watch their calorie intake and eat healthier and I think it will be an excellent resource for those who like minimal effort and fuss in preparing a healthy meal.

The Weight Watchers Freestyle Cookbook 2018 is a great companion to anyone on the Weight Watchers program. It includes chapters on what Weight Watcher is and how it works, discusses the SmartPoint and Freestyle style systems, has a huge list of 0-point foods and success tips, and of course tons of recipes.
There is something for everyone as the book has a chapter on breakfast, poultry, beef, pork, seafood, soups, stews, side dishes, and tasty desserts. All the recipes fit with the program and lists freestyle points, calories, carbs, protein, fat, and fiber. Some must tries are the easy egg muffins, slow-cooked chicken cacciatore, Mongolian beef, creamy tomato soup, oven-baked onion rings, and classic lemon bars.
Weight Watchers is not a diet, it is a way of eating properly and living a healthy lifestyle.
I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
Great recipes. Makes counting points easy. If you double check the points by entering the recipe into the app, they're always accurate. I just wish it had the nutrition breakdown in addition to having the points, because I have other goals like protein and sugar that I try to watch out for on top of the points.
This is an easy cookbook to use. The author did a great job explaining how the program works and the recipes are easy to follow and most ingredients I already had on hand. This is a great cookbook to add to your collect. I received a copy for an honest review.
