I don´t mean to be harsh but there wasn´t a single sentence that I liked in this very short story. I really wanted this to be my new "Hamilton High" but it just sucked in comparison.

3 stars because I really thought it was a full book not a novella and I was really looking forward to seeing Kenzie and Sean's relationship develop.....but we didn't get that.

That was... interesting. Lots of swears, lots of risqué stuff... I should have put it down, but I didn’t. 🤦‍♀️ The synopsis made it sound cute, but it was just not my cup of tea.

This is a cute, short read about a girl who, against her better judgement, distracts her nemesis so her friends can exact revenge her best friend's ex. I loved the chemistry between Kenzie and Sean and would have loved to see this story last a little longer. For those of you sensitive to language, it does contain the "F" word in two or three places. I enjoyed the story and adored Sean.

Skip this genuinely terrible novella

The plot and narration reads like it’s being told by a 7th grader after their first alcoholic drink. The author thanks a bunch of people for reading this ahead of publishing, but I honestly feel bad for them because they missed so many 3rd grade grammar errors. The only excuse for that many errors in such a short read is if it was written in a foreign language, google translated to another, then google translated into another foreign language, and then finally google translated into English. I used then in that sentence twice in case any of the pre readers wanted to see how to use that word. They don’t know the difference between than and than.

I’m giving it 4 stars because it has all the POTENTIAL for 4 stars. It had no depth because it was so damn short. But the characters were likeable anyway (which is a feat in 100 pages) and I wanted more from them and I guess that’s generally how I feel about a 4/5 star book. So technically it’s not 4 stars but it gave me the 4 star feels.

I hope the author decides to write some 300+ page books in future!!

I wanted to this one more stars but sadly it is lacking a few things. I have been reading quite a few novellas lately and this one not just short but was lacking some in the end. It doesn’t end on a cliffhanger but it feels left unfinished like it needed something more. The story was adorable and cute and I could get wrapped up in the characters. One thing is it can be a bit hard to follow with so many characters to learn it’s a bit short and by the time you have figured them all out the story is over for another thing the story was bit confusing sometimes there were so many characters I couldn’t tell who was speaking to whom. But the ending took the cake it lacked a great finale I feel like there should have been a couple more chapters or an epilogue letting us know bow the characters are doing considering the second book in the series is based off two other characters in the school. I just feel as the book could have used a bit more.

Short but sweet.
I finished it in an hour because it was so short but I also really liked Madeleines writing style. It was descriptive but not too much unnecessary information. I liked the characters and even though(because of its shortness) you don’t really get any character development or anything I still thought it was cute.
Just to be clear the plot in this Book happens in three days. But not because it’s super rushed and way to much but because two characters who’ve always liked each other but didn’t really know it, realize it, and deal with it. There’s no drama to make the story longer. You just get to enjoy the few days with her and it made me smile so yeah I liked it :)

What in the flip was that? I literally was like WTH. Because of how the book ended. I said to myself really that’s it? I thought that something more would be after the last chapter I am confused. Where is the second book to this; I want to know more smh. UGH, not good, too short and confusing, even though I did enjoy this book I am between rating this book a 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Star and a 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Star .. I’m going to go with a 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Star.

Did it really just end there? I was just starting to get into Sean and Kenzie when I was hit with “The End”. What was there was good, but it just ended so suddenly. I knew going in that it was a novella, but damn. Would have really liked it if it was just a little bit longer. It’s a shame honestly, but a nice quick read. Once I committed to this book I read it in a few hours. Don’t know yet if I’ll check out more by this author. Maybe.

I loved it. It takes a few pages to set the characters and plot.. but it was fast paced, eventful, chaotic! Just a quick little story and now i wanna read more. Ilove the main character and her role in her group of friends and I relate to her a lot. I have also never read an 'enemies' to lovers book so reading this short one that was also full of drama (but not mind numbing drama) was a great experience :)

I give this book a 3 or 3.5 star rating I wasn't the biggest fan of some aspects of it like how we didn't get more of the story though it is probably what I signed up for with a short story it wasn't bad though and many people would like it I just wish there was more to the story plus personally i feel it was written sort of sounding very middle and high school but since they were in high-school I guess it makes sense also wish I saw the date at least
