But, I really liked that the book was super interactive for children! One of my favorite aspects of the book was the small quiz at the end to check for understanding.
I really liked reading this book. It was very simple yet colorful. It was obviously geared toward small children and I will surely use it in my classroom library. The storyline is not meant for an adult, yet it has many interesting facts that most adults may not know. The entire book is very colorful. From the cover to the short quiz on the last page. The book does a great job of describing the story of Crayola and gives the reader a clear understanding of the text. The text is surrounded by color and each illustration matches the time period described on that page of the story.

Makes me want to get a box of 64 crayons with the sharpener in the back!
