Hi everyone! It’s Ariel here, and I’m excited to tell you about a super fun book called "Plants vs. Zombies: War and Peas."

In this story, Dr. Zomboss and Crazy Dave end up in the same book club, and things get really crazy! They start competing to be the leader of the book club, and that means a big battle between the plants and the zombies.

Nate, Patrice, and their plant friends are right in the middle of this bookish war, trying to help Crazy Dave and stop Dr. Zomboss from taking over. There are lots of funny and exciting moments as they fight with their plants and try to outsmart the zombies in a battle that’s all about books!

The book has amazing illustrations that show all the fun and action-packed scenes. It’s really cool to see how the plants and zombies use their wits and skills to win the book club competition.

My favorite part was when Nate and Patrice come up with clever ideas to help their plants win against the zombies. It’s really funny and shows how teamwork and smart thinking can help in the silliest situations.

If you like funny battles, plants, and zombies, you’ll definitely enjoy "Plants vs. Zombies: War and Peas." It’s a fantastic book with lots of laughs and action!

Happy reading!

Unexpectedly refreshing and fun. If you have played plants vs. zombies and you also like to read this series may be for you. This is the first one I read-my eight yr old picked this out for his birthday and it is part of a 3 volume set. The book club rivalry is hilarious as well as the books re-imagined via discussion. Imaginative as well as motivating for the young reader who is also a gamer.

Buddy read with H #1

My nephew wants to start a buddy read book club with me (which made my whole day) and this was the first book we read.

This was surprisingly good! I laughed out loud several times, and I loved the book club plot, which seemed rather appropriate as our first book! The "book club discussion questions" at the end were hilarious, and I really want to read more of this series now.

Have read several of these with the grandson. This has something for both of us!! I love the theme of this one: the Zomboss joins a book club with his zombie friends so that they can infiltrate and eat the brains of the people in the club. Then comes the fun of the making fun of book clubs, the snacks at book clubs, etc. My grandson loved that the books they are reviewing are things like The Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, etc. Hilarity ensues.

This was actually pretty fun, really refreshing. The dynamic of Zomboss being kinda redeemed was pretty intriguing
