Bethany Claire is the USA Today Bestselling Author of the Scottish time travel romance novels in Morna’s Legacy Series.

Bethany’s love of storytelling has been a lifelong passion but, convinced it would serve her best to follow a “conventional” career path, she tucked that passion away and went off to college.

Fast forward four years and about six major changes later, she realized the stories simply were not going to stay tucked away. Months away from graduating with a degree in elementary education, she finally realized writing was the only career that would make her happy.

So one day in the middle of a summer education course, she got up in the middle of class and walked to the registrar’s office and withdrew from the university on the spot. Since then, she has devoted herself to writing full time and is following her dreams.

Let me start by saying I received a copy in advance for an honest review.

HONESTLY I LOVED THE BOOK... Bethany Claire is one of my favorite authors.

Christmas time is my favorite time of the year and this novella occurs over that holiday. Also, couple in this book are people closer to my age, and they find love.... how awesome.

Kenna is completely happy with her life but when her daughter-in-law Misty suggests she may want more. Like a man in her life. Kenna starts to think about more and takes Misty's advice.... She goes with her grandson Cooper hundreds of year into the future. Little does she know she will find love. She meets the handsome Malcolm and decides why not! Love is in the air... but how will she tell him she is not from his time. She lives in the past... or will she decide to stay with him in the future.... Does he even want her the way she wants him? So many questions. All answered beautifully in this novella.

My favorite character from previous books Cooper, the youngster has his first crush on this trip forward. Maybe we will see him truly fall in love with Rosie in future books.

All in all a good read and I highly recommend you check it out. At only 148 pages it is a quick, easy, enjoyable read.

Kenna McMillian would do anything for her grandchildren including accompanying one of them, hundreds of years into the future for a week of Christmas celebrations with Morna, the old witch , just to make him smile. But unexpected guests at the Inn upend all of their holiday plans. As Kenna learns more about her new aquaintance, she starts to wonder if her week away might just take the romantic turn that Adelle was hoping for.
While there, Malcolm meets the first woman in years that is able to stir something long neglected inside, bringing out long forgotten feelings. When it comes to the city, his granddaughter Rosie wants to remain behind with her new friends. He invites Kenna to come with him, promising her a tour of all the best Christmas sights in the city. They have an intense passion that is felt by both of them, but the truth is they live world's apart and that could threaten their new found bond.
Kenna also holds a secret that she doesn't know if she can trust Malcolm with the gift of Morna's magic. If she does trust him will their love be strong enough to give up everything and leave the life he's always known? Will their love conquer all? Will everyone around them understand?
Once again Bethany Claire has out done herself and made this such an endearing story that you won't want to put it down. Bethany Claire is time travel at it's best and it called to me ever time I had to put this book down for a minute. For all of you Bethany Claire readers, you must read this book. Thank you to Bethany for giving me the opportunity to read and review this incredibly written book.

Morna's Magic & Mistletoe is a wonderful Christmas story for readers (especially for the older audience). Kenna McMillan was sent into the future with her grandson, Cooper to enjoy Christmas in the 21st century with Morna and Jeff. Kenna has lived in the 17th century and raised her children and now enjoying the role of being a grandmother. She has never expected to have another chance at love until she met Malcolm Warren.

Malcolm Warren is taking a vacation with his granddaughter after his daughter bailed out on him. After his wife has passed awhile for several years, he wasn't expecting anything expect to try to cheer his granddaughter for the Holidays.

When Kenna and Malcolm met, it was an instant attraction. Soon both wanted more but Kenna was not willing to separate Malcolm from his family and there was also the secret of Morna's magic to shared with Malcolm.

I enjoyed this story. For those who missed love the first time, love sometimes, does come the second time. I also love this story because it is more directed to an older audience. I just love this series because it is for all ages.

I was given this audiobook by the author. I have volunteered to write an unbiased review for the book. I was not compensated or influenced in any way on writing this review.

Always look forward to Bethany Claire's books and Morna's Magic & Mistletoe does not disappoint. Kenna, who's had her share of hard times, travels into the future with grandson Cooper and her excitement can hardly be contained. Following her through her reawakening to feelings she didn't think she had is a joy. Malcom is a perfect match for her and for once Morna may not have been totally in control of the matchmaking, or so she says!
While Kenna's adventure is well worth the read, the glimpse into the possibilities for Cooper as he matures was planted. Rosie is certainly the kind of female he's been around all his young life thus far and that draws him to her. So looking forward to more books from Bethany following this family.

An absolutely enchanting Scottish time travel novella from one of my favorite authors! Wonderful, beautifully crafted characters and a charming romance makes this book such a treat. I love that Bethany lets her slightly older characters find romance, as well as the young ones. Even though this book continues with characters from the previous novels, this book can be read as a stand-alone (but if you haven't read her previous books, you should snap them up now because they're all fabulous). A perfect book for the holidays and a must read for anyone who loves Scotland, time travel, or a wonderful romance story!

Bethany Claire has done it again! I loved reading Kenna's story about finding romance as an older woman, and a Christmas romance was just what I needed to get me into the Christmas spirit this year. If you have not read any of the other Morna's Legacy series books, and you like Scottish time travel romances, you will love the entire series! Bethany Claire has also released these books in "sweet/clean" versions in the Magical Matchmaker Legacy series, so if you have someone you would want to share them with that is younger or prefers the love-making to stay behind closed doors, this series is perfect.

If you are a fan of Morna's Legacy books you will love this one. If you haven't tried them yet what are you waiting for? Bethany Claire does an amazing job of bringing Kenna Macmillan to the present to meet her match and Morna didn't even have to meddle to do it. Kenna and Mac are both grandparents but age doesn't stop them from finding love.
This is the perfect story for Christmas love with great characters and dialog. Even young Cooper finds love - will Rosie be his future?
I received an Advanced Copy of this book in return for an honest review - I honestly LOVED it!

This book was an excellent read. It gave a character who is always giving to others her own story. It was great to see all of my favorite characters again. Even if you haven't read any of the books in this series this one will still be a great read for you. Then you should go buy the rest of the books in the series they are amazing. If you are already a fan there is a special sneak peek of a possible later book staring one of my favorite characters.

Don't miss this book it was amazing.

Once again, Bethany Claire furthers the story and characters in the Morna's Legacy series. I love that the author is able to write about love among both young and mature characters. This novella focuses on mature characters and their chance to find love again. It has some favorite characters from previous books and even gives glimpses into future characters (which I love)! Another Christmas winner!

Christmas is a magical time of the year. Morna makes it even more magical for Kenna. Kenna loves her family but she has a secret desire to travel to the future in which her family and friends come from. She gets her chance when she travels with Cooper. Will Kenna handle the future, find love or will she lose everything she found for love? Bethany did a fantastic job in writing this book. I can't wait for the next book. Thank you Bethany

An excellent Christmas story about time travel! Kenna and Cooper travel from the past into the future to visit with Morna. As we know Morna is a matchmaker if you have read any of the other books. In this time frame Kenna meets Malcom and off to the races we go. Love will bloom and happiness will grow. Cooper is from another story but he goes to the future to visit Morna more than once. Read this story and try some of the others as they are all excellent!

This is part of the Morna's Legacy Time Travel series that I love. There are around 12 books and I love all of them that include people traveling back and forth in time in Scotland. Each book is based on a certain couple helped with love by Morna but they all intact with each other. Some are based more on people moving back in time and some move forward but they all interact together.

Another wonderful installment in Morna’s series. I love that Bethany does not forget about the strong mothers in her stories. They deserve happily ever after too. I’m looking forward to seeing more of these characters in future books. Keep up the great work Bethany! I highly recommend this series.

Kenna & Malcolm's romance was so sweet! I just loved 😍 ❤ their story. It was fun seeing a romance that Morna did not actually plan, although she is part of the story.

I also enjoyed seeing a potential future romance...don't want to give anything away!

Cooper's age.

Love the stories. Just one thing, in the first book it said Cooper was almost 5 yrs old 1646. Now 5 yrs later he is only 7 yrs old. Shouldn't he be almost 10? I think someone did an oops 😬 😅.

Great time travel romance

Another great time travel romance. This time with those of us who are middle age. Young but not as young as we once were 😉 yet still not old and certainly not too old for new love
