A brand new, never before released standalone story in the Compass saga from New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr.
Austin Compton has struggled to live up to the Compass legacy his entire life, afraid of disappointing his overachieving family. After dropping out of college, he convinced his parents to buy a big rig and let him contribute to the Compass Ranch in his own way.
On the open road he discovers a happy medium between the freedom he craves and the obligation that comes along with the Compton name. When he picks up some unexpected cargo in the form of a gorgeous if battered stowaway, he’s in trouble. The same reckless urges that convinced him to abandon his education are telling him to keep Hayden close and safe, maybe even teach her how to love again after the disastrous relationship she’s fleeing.
When troubled times fall on Compass Ranch, Hayden will do anything to repay the kindness Austin and his family showed her. It’s time to support Austin like he’s done for her, if her past doesn’t catch up with her at exactly the wrong moment.

You know those series that make you feel like you’ve come home when you start reading them, whether they’re a new book or you’re doing a re-read?
Well, Heaven On Earth gave me that feeling from the very first page even though it’s been many, many moons since I first read the Compass Brothers & Compass Girls series. I felt like no time had passed at all and I back home hanging out with my friends and family. I had the whole dopey smile thing going on. I swooned. I got the teary eyed sniffles. I laughed and I even did a little growling at certain points. But I thoroughly enjoyed Austin and Hayden’s journey and loved catching up with the Compton clan and seeing how they rally around those they call their own.
Austin is all kinds of book boyfriend material. He is so much more than what most people see, including himself. There is a kind and compassionate man under the smexy as hell tatt’d up bod who’ll give a person in need the shirt off his back. He really is the epitome of the good ‘old country boy with a heart of gold and a wicked silver tongue. Hayden is a stubborn little thing, who will admit to not making such great choices in her past but is bound and determined to learn from them and better herself. But with some of those choices still quite fresh they have her only seeing one very small portion of what her future could truly be. I loved Hayden, I didn’t always agree with her, but I enjoyed watching her evolution into becoming who she was always meant to be.
Austin and Hayden’s journey to their HEA was all kinds of fun, slow burn, swoon worthy goodness. I really enjoyed how they got to know each other, despite the circumstances that had them colliding into one another. They got to know each other and truly see who they were, not only by their words, but their actions and that process connected them on a soul deep level. And the slow burn between them was spot on given what Hayden had gone through, but once the line was crossed, things got quite smexy between them. What I enjoyed the most was seeing them grow. One can argue, and be quite correct, that Hayden evolves the most thank’s to Austin, but Austin changes as well and the lightbulb moments he has are just as great. The road bump in their journey wasn’t a surprise, it’s spelled out from the beginning, and though I got growly because of it, it was necessary and I liked how everything played out in the end.
The writing was engaging and seamless, which comes as no surprise since this isn’t their first rodeo together. The pacing was great and I enjoyed the dual 3rd person POV’s. And this will come as no surprise, but I loved getting to catch up with the Compass family we’ve met along the way as well as get a closer glimpse at the Compass Boys.. All of this was so well woven into Austin and Hayden’s journey that it never overshadowed their journey but served to give it more depth while peaking my interest in what the future will bring for everyone. And though you don’t necessarily NEED to read the Compass Brothers or Compass Girls series to enjoy this book, the authors to a wonderful job at giving you the pertinent info on the characters you meet in the book, it will give you that much more of an understanding of this huge family’s dynamic and make the the journey a lot more fun.

It’s been a while since I read about the delightful Compton’s. I was thrilled when I heard that Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr were going to get back to the series and letting us in on the what the boys are up to. So, now on to Austin, James and Bryant. This should be interesting!
Austin was his own man even while living up to the Compton name. He was raised right by his Mom and Dads and when he finds the damsel in distress, he knows that there is only one thing to do … save her.
Hayden is fleeing a bad relationship. Having nowhere to go, no money, no clothes, she just needs to get away from everything. A solution presents itself and she takes it not knowing where it would lead. But, she knows that it’s time for her to stand on her own two feet and not depend on anyone for her wellbeing but herself.
As the story unfolds and the friendship of Austin and Hayden turns to more, tragedy strikes. Now it’s time for Hayden to repay the Compton’s for giving her sanctuary, for helping her, for making her feel like one of the family … something she has never had. But, the past comes back to haunt her and she knows that it’s time to move on and become the independent woman that she needs to be. But, doing that may just destroy the one man that has stood by her side, been there for her and loves her.
Heaven on Earth was a beautiful, well-written story that really moved me. The authors pulled everyone into the story and reminded us just how wonderful they all were. It was delightful going back to the Compass Ranch where it seems that nothing has changed. I have to give them both Kudos on how they handled the battered woman storyline. It wasn’t handled with kid gloves but it was penned with compassion and understanding. They let us feel what Hayden was going through and the love that Austin had for her and his family. It was a fun (at times), interesting story that welcomed us back into the lives of the Compton’s and the Compass Ranch. As usual, Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr gave us an ending that brought tears to my eyes, made me smile and just made me want to Stay.
I just have one question for the authors … what happened to the brownies that Hayden made?
We all struggle to live up to expectations—including family expectations and those we put upon ourselves. Austin Compton has been trying to live up to the Compass family legacy—one set forth by his great grandfather—for years. But in living up to the legacy, Austin’s pretty much forged his own way.
Austin has definitely made a place for himself in the family business. He loves his life—and what he’s doing. He’s happy. But he didn’t realize he was lonely until Hayden filled in a hole he didn’t know existed.
Hayden’s quite down on her luck. She alive. She’s safe. But she’s running. Running from an abusive relationship. One she’s desperate to leave in the past. And she’s really hesitant about looking toward a future with Austin.
I really enjoyed the unfolding relationship between Austin and Hayden. Loved how Austin fought to make Hayden comfortable—feel protected. I loved how the whole Compton family just welcomed her with open arms. There were many times that I was cheering for Austin and Hayden to get it together. To talk things out—really communicate. And other times when I just wanted to reach out and smack one or the other to knock some sense into them.
While Heaven on Earth is book one in the Compass Boys series and completely stands alone, I highly recommend investing the time to read the Compass Brothers and Compass Girls to fully appreciate all the awesomeness of the Compton family. ~ Missy, 4 stars
"Stay just a little bit longer" runs deep and true in this book, and when it finally all comes together with this theme, I admit, I cried some happy tears
But enough of that, come'on, who is super-duper excited that we are back in Compton Pass!!!! I know I was all fan-girly to get back there, and that cover, wowsers, that cover is fan-freakin'-amazing. We also now know that not directions, not seasons, but elements are the themes for the boys. This makes such perfect sense, because Austin is as down to earth as it gets
Austin is the son of Silas, Lucy, and Colby, and has known love and support his whole life. While he doesn't think he quite fits in the Compton mode, the truth is, he fits the best at home, on the ranch, and with his family. He tried higher learning, and while he could do it, it didn't give him what he needed in life. He has built his own piece in the ranch operations, he does their long-haul trucking, and that is where he meets Hayden. Once he meets her, he keeps giving her reasons to stick around a little longer, staying with him until the next point. This leads them to a relationship that always seems to be trying to beat the clock. That weighs on Austin, because he wants nothing more than to be with Hayden always, but understands her need to grow and stand for herself
Hayden hasn't had an easy life, and her stubbornness has left her in situations she should have given up, time and time again. She is smart, strong, and sweet, but she has the streak of following a decision she has made, without stopping to see if it is the right one. It takes her a while, a really long while, but eventually she comes around. But as she is figuring this out, we get to see the development of the relationship with her and Austin. We get to see the way they work together, fit together, and compliment each other
The ending made me happy cry, and I felt like I had finally got to visit with some family and friends who have been away too long, by going back to the Compass Ranch!
I really enjoyed this book. I was quickly swept up in the story and didn't want to put the book down. I enjoyed the dynamics between the two main characters. I enjoyed getting to know them. I'm looking forward to reading what happens next.
I received a copy of this book from one of the authors, my review has been voluntarily submitted.
The compass series is the first that I never read by Jayne Rylon. I fell in love with the family way back then and I'm so glad I got to revisit them now. This new series is about the Compass boys. Austin is the first but not the last. Austin is trying to live up to the legacy that is his grandfather and father. He is a member of over achieving people and feels he has to keeps up. Until he just can't deal with college anymore. He drops out and hides on the ranch for a while. His pseudo grandfather Jake finds him and makes him realize that maybe his path lies else where than college. Austin just has to find it. He does eventually in driving a tractor trailer. He halls everything from the livestock to the hay they grow and he's made it worthwhile for the family to continue. He happy with what he's been able to accomplish and the relationship that he's established on the road. Hayden is in a no win situation. She is being abused by her boyfriend and has plans to get out as quickly as possible but her hopes are dashed when her boyfriend finds her funds and drinks them away. He gets particularly violent and she defends herself only to escape with whatever is on her back, just a night shirt. No shoes, no money and no one to call for help. He finds a rig to hide and maybe get a few hours of sleep. What she didn't count on was the right leaving before she woke up. She doesn't know if she can trust the big looking driver and decides to run as soon as possible. Too bad it's Austin's truck and he was raised to help people, not hurt them. He convinces her to ride with him just a while longer to their next destination so that he can help her heal, help get her back on her feet and hopefully to take her home with him. Their relationship is fast. They are on the road for a few days with nothing to do but get to know each other. Hayden is a strongly independent woman that needs to find her way. She can never be dependent on a man again. But she has needs and Austin is more than enough for that. He supports her through some very emotional things and she gets to support him too. The two of them are fantastic together as long as the both realize they could be stronger together than apart.
4.5 Star Review Heaven On Earth (Compass Boys #1) by Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr I have not read any of the previous Compass Ranch series from these two authors but was excited when I saw this new series. I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed the story and now will be looking at reading books from the other Compass series. This series is about the sons of the original Compton brothers and Heaven on Earth is Austin and Hayden’s story. What’s a woman to do when her dreams turn to nightmares and she needs to escape from an abusive boyfriend? That’s the situation that Hayden finds herself in. Lucky for her she finds a rig and decides to hide out and rest. When Austin s sees Hayden running off with his jacket, he immediately gives chase and is surprised when he tackles her to find a beautiful but battered Hayden who is obviously starving and injured. Austin is a caring and compassionate man, brought up to treat women correctly and he is appalled by what has happened to Hayden. Slowly but surely he gains her trust and with the temptation of sharing stories about his life and family from the Compass Ranch he enticers her to return home with him to heal and decide what she wants to do next. At the heart of this book is that family is not always blood related. Family is who you choose to have in and surrounding you; often it is those friends who become your family and that shone through in this book. Tragedy rears it’s ugly head for both Hayden and Austin and they lean on each other to get through the tough times. I really fell for Austin, such a caring, swoon worthy and compassionate man; Haydn has been beaten down but she is determined to make it and I admire her, When these two finally get together it was heart warming and passionate. I cannot wait to read more in this series and in fact will be looking at reading books from the other Compass series.
This is the first book in the new Compass Boys series, like the Compass Brothers and the Compass Girls this series tells the story of the youngest generation of Compton boys now adults. Austin Compton knows he's not meant to sit in a classroom but instead he's meant to be working to further help his families ranch, so he buys a big rig and delivers animals to farms. When on one of his trips he acquires a stowaway on his trailer his life will change forever. Hayden is with a drunk he's made their life difficult by spending their money on booze, now he's become violent and it's the last straw. She runs in the middle of the night to escape and finds herself in Austin's trailer and about to go on the journey of a lifetime. Can Austin be patient enough to wait for the woman he loves? And can Hayden realize that she can lean on a man without losing herself?
This book was so emotional! Austin is such a sweetheart and Hayden is a brave and tough woman. I loved her strength and I love that Austin was willing to help her and be a good person. The Compton family are as loving as ever. I really enjoyed reading about all the younger Compass boys. I'm excited to read more about Bryant I'm convinced his story will be a lot of fun to read. I loved that Hayden had to go out on her own and prove she could survive by herself but also that when she realized that she might have made a mistake and lost Austin that she was willing to try and make it right. Austin was a really great guy, he's set the bar high for the rest of the Compton boys can't wait to read their stories.
I have loved the Compass Ranch gang from the very beginning. I love that we are getting to see the next generation all grown up and finding happiness and contributing to the family and ranch in their own ways. The first up in the Compass boys is Austin, he is the son of Silas, Lucy and Colby and when he decides that being cooped up n a college classroom isn’t right for him he quits and comes home. He just needs to figure out what his place is on the family’s ranch, fast forward five years and he has talked his parents in to buying him a rig so he can make the deliveries for the ranch. It gives him the freedom he wants while still letting him help his family and be able to come home to the ranch. After making a delivery he finds a woman sneaking out of his trailer. Hayden is running from an abusive relationship but she is determined not to be dependent on a man ever again. When he sees her bruises and how thin she is, Austin’s protective side comes out and he convinces her to stay with him “for just a little bit longer”. The more time they spend together the more their feeling grow until Hayden agrees to return to the ranch with Austin. While they are there they go through a few things that will test them and their feeling for each other. Hayden is determined to prove that she is strong enough to take care of herself, but by doing so will she lose Austin or will their feelings be enough to get them through? This was a fantastic start to the next generation of Compass stories and I can’t wait for the next one!
So very excited that we will get to go back to Compton Pass and Compass Ranch for another generation of family! Thank you Mari Carr and Jayne Rylon.
It’s nice to see that the large Compton family is as tight as ever through the generations. The sense of family, belonging and camaraderie at Compass Ranch continues in this well written book 1 of the Compass Boys series!
As the new generation of Compass Boys grows up and finds their places and their partner, stories are told of generations past. It was nice to have a bit of a recap of the families, and also the original characters from the first series.
Austin and Hayden’s struggles through transitioning from High School to adulthood are so real. How they each in a sense had lost themselves and are unsure of which direction to go and where they fit. Each needing an escape to grow and find independence and be happy.
Their time together and the adventure to Compass Ranch in Austin’s truck was fun. Hayden is able to find a bit of herself on this journey. She proves to herself with the support of Austin that she can make it on her own and find herself again.
The emotional ups and downs of finding and losing family. And finding, losing and fighting for love. A lot of laughs, a few tears made this book hard to put down.
A great introduction to the next Compass Boys to come. Each with their own personality and direction to go. Can’t wait for the next books in this series. Very well written!
The Compass series of books were the first books I read from this author and I was hooked! I love the family dynamics, and as the series progresses we get to read about the children of the original brothers, when it was announced that Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr were writing the much anticipated Compass boys I was thrilled to see the series continue. This first in the series focuses on Austin, a young tattooed hottie, who's parents are Silas, Lucy and Colby. After deciding that college isn't for him Austin persuades his family to purchase a big rig for him to drive across the country, helping the ranch profits but giving him freedom and a chance to see the country. Its while on such a trip he meets our heroine Hayden, a beautiful woman who has escaped an abusive relationship. This story is how Hayden finds her independence and learns that she can survive on her own but is stronger and able to move ahead better with Austin at her side. We have the hotness we crave from this series, protective alpha males looking after their women and masses of love for the 2 main characters but also family. We see Austin's family and share sadness with them but see them adapt to life as it changes and the family grows. So looking to the next book after a little hint in Heaven on Earth. As a very lucky ARC reader I was able to read this before many others, I cannot recommend highly enough, a great addition to an already amazing series.
If you're like me, and probably most of Jayne Rylon's fans, you'll wish this book was... 'just a little bit longer'.
Austin Compton has carved out a niche that works for him and the Compton clan. Driving his truck allows him the freedom of the road while contributing to the family's legacy. The trucking life has its downside which includes a loneliness that's starting to take a toll on Austin until he finds out he's unintentionally picked up some cargo in the form of Hayden, a beautiful and spirited runaway.
With a lifetime of experience in taming wild horses and dealing with frightened animals, Austin knows just how to keep Hayden close and safe without scaring her away, while he uncovers her story, earns her trust, and falls hard at the same time.
I really liked that we were able to revisit some of our Compass friends from earlier stories, but that their roles in this didn't rely overly on you having read previous books. Although, with that said, I do wish there was more interaction with Austin and his parents, it's sure to be a unique situation for Hayden and I would have liked learning how they navigated that new dynamic. Plus I think it's a first for Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr's readers to experience the adult children of these complex relationships.
Some drama, romance and a lot of emotion wraps this up into a quick weekend read that, as usual, leaves you wanting more.

It is so satisfying to be back with the men and woman on Compass Ranch! Heaven on Earth is the first book in a new series called ‘Compass boys’, which is Austin Compton’s story. Austin is the son of Silas, Lucy and Colby from Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr’s novel Northern Exposure – Compass Brothers # 1.
Ms Rylon and Ms Carr do a fabulous job of writing a standalone story for those that have not read the other books, while still including friends and family for us who have read them. It’s not necessary to read Northern Exposure before this, it’s just a great series and nice to know some of the back stories.
Austin does his part for the Compass Ranch delivering cattle, hay, horses, or whatever else is needed. On his way home from delivering some cattle, he discovers a woman in need of help. Hayden is on the run from her abusive ex-boyfriend when she stows away in a comfy trailer parked nearby. Thinking she will just take a nap, she wakes up with the trailer driving down the road and no idea what to do next.
This is fun steamy story and I recommend you add it to your TBR list!
Heaven on Earth – Compass Boys Book 1 by Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr
“All the water in the ocean can’t sink a ship unless you let it inside.”
If you haven’t read the other books from Compton Pass / Compass Ranch it’s ok because this is a stand-alone and you will be able to follow along just fine. Just know that the Compton Family is big and loving and welcoming because: “‘The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.’ Meaning people you fight alongside become closer than relatives.”
Austin has found his place in his family - he is content and living his dream. Hayden has no family around and is trying to find her way out of a very bad situation. They have a “meet cute” and the story rolls from there.
This was a quick read that made me laugh (I cannot quote it here but please know that I laughed out loud at Location 1499 and will ABSOLUTELY work that title into a conversation this month), it made me sad, it made me happy and it made me look forward to the next book in this series.
I absolutely recommend this book and the entire Compass Ranch series. Due to the open door sex scenes, I would not recommend it to my mom ~wink~
I fell in love with Compass Ranch gang from the very beginning and I love that the Compass Boys are getting their own series. Austin Compton has been struggling, being cooped up in a college from room isn't for him so he decides to quit. Austin knows that he can contribute to the Compass Ranch and talks his parents in to buying him a rig so he can make the deliveries for the Ranch. On his way home, he finds a woman sneaking out of his rig. Hayden has always been dependent on others, but after being in a dead end, abusive relationship she finally leaves and stows away in Austin's rig. Austin protective side comes out after seeing her bruises and hearing her stories. Hayden is taken back by the gentle, nurturing side of Austin and Hayden is afraid she will never be able to repay his kindness. While on the raid and spending time together Austin and Hayden's feelings grow for each other. When they finally give in to those feelings, their chemistry is explosive. I immediately fell in love with Austin and Hayden and of course all the past Compass Ranch characters plus all of Austin's boy cousins as well. Together the four boy cousins are full of humor and are supportive of each other. I thoroughly enjoyed Heaven in Earth and I can't wait for the release of the next Compass Boy.
I am so happy that Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr are once again giving us more of the Compton family and we get to return to Compass Ranch. Heaven on Earth is Austin's story and it was beautifully written and will tug at your heartstrings. Austin wants to live up to the Compass legacy by doing the thing he loves most on Compass Ranch. Austin and Hayden meet when he discovers she's stowed away in his rig. His protective instinct kicks in and I loved how Austin took care of Hayden and seeing their relationship flourish. He does his best to rein in his sexual desires but Hayden proves she is a lot stronger and can take anything Austin gives her. Austin does everything he can for Hayden to "stay a little bit longer" but Hayden wants to prove that she can take care of herself which tests their relationship. I also enjoyed his tight bond with the rest of the Compass Boys and that he was able to reach out to them for support. What a terrific start to what will surely be another hit series!
We return to Compton Pass for this, the first Compass Boys book.
Austin meets Hayden when she is trying to recover from systematic abuse from her now, ex-boyfriend. In a bid to escape a horrible situation, Hayden stows away in the back of Austin's truck. Although Austin is immediately attracted to Hayden, he would much rather try to ensure she feels safe.
Whilst travelling back towards home, Austin tells Hayden the stories of his family, hoping that she'll return with him where he can look after her.
As the story unfolds, their relationship inevitably changes. However, as one might expect, their journey is not plain sailing and they have a number of difficulties to overcome before finding their HEA.
This collaboration of Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr once again heralds the beginning of a new branch of a well-loved family. I can't wait for the rest of the Compass Boys!!
What can I say about Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr’s latest Compass book Heaven on Earth. Right now, absolutely nothing. I have been left speechless. It was that good. We get to see Austin all grown up. He has struggled with finding himself and how he related to the rest of the clan. He meets his match in a stow away. Haley has never taken the time to find herself. She went from a bad decision to having something to prove.
I have loved all of Jayne’s books. Her stories are always well planned, well written, well developed, hot, and thought provoking. This latest installment is no different. One word of advice…when reading this have some tissues handy. There is one place where it will be needed but do not let that stop you from reading this. It is well worth the emotional outpouring. Especially, if you have read the rest of the series. I highly recommend this book, series, and author(s). This is the best one yet.
Get ready for a new generation of Compass boys. Deciding that college wasn't the path he was meant to be on, Austin returns home, buys a rig and hits the highway. Five years later, he has finally settled into life. Hayden is tired of being afraid and beaten down, by life and her alcoholic boyfriend. Escaping in only her nightshirt, she stows away in the back of Austin's truck. When Austin catches her stealing his jacket, he realizes that he will do anything he has to to get her healthy and make her his. Tired of being controlled, Hayden is focused on living her life on her terms. Where will this leave Austin? Hopefully by her side. Great story and catching up with old favorites!
When Hayden's boyfriend goes to far, she is done. Having no where to go she stows away in a tractor trailer. Next thing she knows she hears the truck going and she is stuck inside. This turns out to be the best thing for her. As we travel along the road with her we learn the owner of the truck is Austin. This is a story that makes you feel good about people the acceptance Austin and eventually his family have for Hayden is great. Throughout the story you learn a lot of history about both of the main characters. It does not have a lot of heat to it which is fine. The story is enough to keep you interested.
Yeah back to Compass Ranch. New adventures with the Compass Girls little brothers. Sometimes we want to not end up in a relationship like the one we just got out of that we end up going way into the other direction. This is what Hayley ends up doing. He ex was very controlling and ended up hurting her. She then meets Austin and pushes him way to prove that she can survive on her own. She keeps him at arms length tell he walks away one last time to let her live her new life. Will she realize what she just let go of? Will she get a chance to right her mistake? Will love show how a strong bond will last a lifetime?
Austin went to college as expected, discovers it is not for him, but is afraid of what his family will think. He struggles to find his place in life and in the family dynamic. Hayden has only ever been with her abusive boyfriend and the years have trickled away with her supporting him. Austin and Hayden meet under extreme circumstances with Hayden suffering still from the years of emotional and physical abuse. Her encounter with her ex left much to be desired from Hayden. I was glad when Austin finally stood up to her for what he wanted. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
I read any of Jayne Rylon's and Mari Carr's books, so I was so excited to see this one in my in-box. Austin is trying to find his place and discovers he loves the open road. Hayden has come from an abusive relationship and has a hard time believing in her own strength. Austin and Hayden are perfect for each other, but Hayden has to see if for herself instead of depending on others all the time.
I really enjoyed this book. I was a great addition to the Compass Ranch.
I received an advance reader copy of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.
This series is the next in this generation of Compass Pass. Austin, is the son of Silas, Lucy and Colby and one of the four Compass Boys. After deciding college was not for him he becomes a long haul trucker for the family ranch. He hauls their products to the buyers. It gives him the freedom he needs, while still having the home and connection of the ranch and family. This was a great read. Having read other stories in this extended series in which an integral character dies, the death in this one was actually a little anti-climatic. Hayden was a lost soul that needed to find herself. Their coming together, separation and eventual reunion made for a true Compass Pass story.
"stay just a little longer", you know what I think I'll stay forever at the Compass Ranch.
This book makes you feel like your coming home to a safe place. A place that's like a warm hug from that person who you know will always support you. And I'll keep coming back the more of the family these girls write.
This story welcomes us into the next part of the generation that started in the Compass girls series, yet these boys are so much more.
A beautiful story that reminds us to be careful what we wish for and to make sure our dreams don't stop us from following fate.
Was so happy to see this series come back and have another spinoff for the guys!!
Great book, highly enjoyed. Although both of the main characters had issues that they were working through they made it work and I can't wait for the next cousin!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This was a great beginning to the “Compass Boys”, it tugged my heartstrings and had my crying my eyes out, and laughing so hard I was crying. I absolutely love everything that happens in Compass Pass and I can not wait to see what happens next.
Loved being able to come back to Compass Pass. Loved Hayden and Austin's story. I couldn't out it down. After the Compass Girls books I really wanted Jayne and Mari to find a way to tell the boys stories and they have really started off with a bang.
I absolutely adore this family and have from the first book about them! I’m so happy the boys are getting their turn now. Austin is Silas, Colby and Lucy’s son, JD and Vicky’s oldest. Hayden escapes an abusive situation and seeks temporary shelter in his cattle trailer and unintentionally becomes a stowaway. I very much enjoyed this emotional, hot read and am looking forward to the next. ~ARC gifted by author. This is my honest, voluntary review.~
My first Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr book was Northern Exposure where I feel in love with the Compton family. Ever since the Compass Girls series came to an end, I hoped there would be more stories about this family. Wishes do come true! Heaven on Earth absolutely lives up to the 2 previous series. Austin and Hayden's story continues the family tradition of finding true love no matter the obstacles or roads taken.
