This anthology is a straight up solid collection of stories from various podcasters who are part of the Project Entertainment Network. There is no singular theme other than the contributors were asked to submit their favorite short story to the collection. The result is a great book.
There isn't a bad story in the bunch. Of course, for me, some stood out more than others. Stories like KINS by Mary SanGiovanni, SPIRITS by James A. Moore, M.EN.TOR by Tom Clark and THE TIN BOX by Kelli Owen were highlights. In my opinion, Jay Wilburn's SHORT STRAW was my favorite of the collection. And the final story, PEGLEG AND PADDY SAVE THE WORLD by Jonathan Mayberry was the perfect way to end it all and is by far the best zombie comet story I've read yet.
This anthology is packed with big names in writing. Sprinkled among them are other solid up and comers to the writing scene. What connects them all is podcasting. It just goes to show that whether your putting it to paper or microphone, these people are very creative in whatever endeavor they take on. There just isn't a bad story in this book and as anthologies go, that's saying something.
*Full disclosure: I have a story in this collection as well. This review does not include the content of that story.

I enjoyed every story in this anthology, and that is rare. This is a solid collection of entertaining fiction. Most of the tales would probably be considered horror, but there are also good doses of comedy, fantasy, psychological, western, suspense, and general weirdness. Some of the stories are serious, some are funny, some are a little disturbing. OK, a lot of them are disturbing, but in that awesome thought-provoking kind of way. This book contains a great variety and a chance to read new (to me) stories from authors I already liked as well as authors I never read before. Plus, each story has a blurb at the end in which the author explains why they chose it as their favorite. Very cool. This is easily one of my favorite fiction anthologies to come out in the past few years. Kudos to all the authors involved and to the Project Entertainment Network!

I have read many of these authors before and enjoyed their work, these shorts are their favourites that they had written at the time this book was published and I know they have written many awesome books, shorts and stories for other anthologies since. I highly recommend this book to any fan of the authors and the horror genre.

A collection of favourites
It's a well compiled collection of fictional stories. I have read many anthologies and it's nice to read stories that flow and offer a few surprises. The endings were not sudden or abrupt as is the case with many anthologies. I recommend this book to horror and thriller readers with an appreciation for tasteful bite size tales.

Interesting collection
There's a wide range of stories here, some entertaining, some a little scary and a few that are rather confusing.
