This is such a gorgeous little book!

The recipes are lovely. Though we've only tried a couple so far, they were delicious!

The book is chock full of photos guaranteed to whet your appetite.

But for me, the best part of the book was that each recipe includes cultural notes. The recipes are global and feature Jewish cuisine from all over the world. Whether your background is Moroccan, Greek, Italian, Sephardic, or just plain old American, there are recipes which encompass your favorite ingredients, spices, and traditions.

This little book is a treasure!

This was a Hanukkah gift from my dad and is the perfect little book to keep on my kitchen shelf. Lots of great recipes from Jews around the world but also a nice reminder to celebrate the holidays, big and small. Shabbat comes once a week and is the perfect opportunity to try a new recipe or make an old favorite passed down for generations to feed and nourish the ones you love.
