This book provides a lovely overview of six very interesting women from the Middle Ages. These stories capture the variety of women’s existence during these times, including their involvement in wars and political matters of state, as well as the day-to-day features of living, including aspects of marriage, children, and housekeeping. While there are several errors in the text and some explanations were lacking, the book contained numerous gorgeous color illustrations of Medieval Art.
