I only read the Brenda Jackson novella in this anthology and I have to tell you that if you are a true fan you will be disappointed. I am not familiar with the whole Nascar series from Harlequin and picked this one up only for Brenda's contribution. I found the story of rekindled romance between teenage sweethearts to be so-so.

This was so good! I liked most of the stories in here. I'm a sucker for a good Nascar story and these were great. Definitely teared up in a couple of these.

I thought this was a cute little novella. It is a story about two people, Tiffany Mc Millan and Jesse Harwood, together that had crushes on each other in high school. It is now 10 years later and Jesse has been working for Tiffany’s father for a number of years. Jesse always gives Tiffany a hard time in order to cover up his “teenage crush” feelings still. Tiffany does her best to ignore him and not drool over him when she remembers what a “bad boy” he was in high school and why he ignored her throughout their high school years. Was it all just a crush, or could there really be something to it… They are in a tropical paradise and decide to see if fantasy lives up to reality…

They decide to pull in at a grocery store, on the evening before Thanksgiving, to see if anyone there can tell them if there is anywhere they can stay in the area that will take an RV. By chance, Carrie Ferrell and her son, Josh, stopped into the same grocery store to pick-up her pie order. The owner of the store was telling Trace and Annie about Carrie’s camp grounds area just down the road. And so the story begins…

She has three youngsters in tow as well as her 12 year-old daughter Molly, one of Gib’s biggest fans.
Gib can’t get Cassie out of his mind and bombards his Aunt with questions about her. Determined to finally have it out with her, Gib heads over to Cassie’s home, hopefully to find out why? What he finds isn’t what he expected. He learns from Molly that Cassie opened her heart and her home to children that no one wanted and has adopted all but one, and she is hoping to scrape enough funds together to hopefully adopt her last foster child.
Does Gib ever get to find out why Cassie broke it off with him or will circumstances keep them apart again?

NASCAR crew chief Gib Cameron gets a crash course in life's little surprises when he sees his first love, Cassie Wheeler. Just what--or who--has she been keeping under wraps?
All of the main characters are believable, lovable, memorable. With christmas mixed in, how can you go wrong. I've read the 1st 2 authors before but the last 2... this is a first. They were all enjoyable. The story line flowed well in each. NASCAR ran thru them all, and made it that much more interesting. 5 stars!

I was ONLY interested in Mrs. Jackson's story...which made for a quick, sweet read...surprisingly lacking with the SIZZLIN' passion I've come to expect from reading one of her novels...it's JUST an okay read.

I always enjoyed the NASCAR books I had read in the past. This one was no different. Although one of the stories was a little cheesy, I was not disappointed with the attraction to these hunky race stars. Where do I find one of my own?

I like the stories. They were short and adorable nice holiday scenes. I think it is fantastic Liz Allison is writing about Nascar. Davey Allison was my favorite race car driver.
