I didn't realize that this was a kiddie book when I checked it out on my Kindle which I don't know how I missed it reading the title. It was a cute book and would be great for a 3 year old.
I was very confused by this book. I felt like I was reading an abridged version of a TV show and the author assumed I already knew the story and characters.
The Christmas Candies have the sweetest house, all decorated for Christmas but missing one thing- a Christmas tree! It just so happens there's a tiny overlooked Christmas tree in a lot in need of a home. What better home for a lonely little tree than a sweet little gingerbread house full of Christmas Candies and cheer?
Youngsters will love the bright and festive illustrations and the cute, clever names and personalities of the Christmas Candies, and this board book can easily be stuffed inside a stocking along with some Christmas candies!
This was a short, colorful book. The candies made the little Christmas tree feel good, but the story was a little too short. It definitely could have been longer, but it would be good for young kids.
They would probably enjoy the colors and characters!
