Written by Tad James and Wyatt Woodsmall, Time Line Therapy and the Basis of Personality is a compelling study of the important elements that make up a persons core personality, and a detailed exploration of and introduction to how Time Line therapy works in practice.
About the best book on hypnotherapy I've read. I highly recommend this one to anyone who wants to understand the inner workings of our minds and emotions.
The original text on timeline therapy with extensive exploration of metaprograms. A useful read for anyone who uses alternative change work modalities.
Time line therapy seems to be an off shoot or sub-branch of NLP if there is such a thing. There is an introduction to NLP which I found satisfying enough. Many of the chapters however seem to just documenting lectures given by Richard Badler (one of the founders of NLP). The book is a mish-mash of NLP techniques. The whole premise of time line therapy did not grab me at all. Not a book for me I am afraid, but for fans of NLP it might add some new insights or techniques.
I wish there were ten stars for this rating system. This book tied so many things together for me. Anyone that works as a change agent needs to read this book.
