Tiger Tails by Yasmine Galenorn is a Bewitching Bedlam novelette. This story takes place after Bewitching Bedlam and before Maudlin’s Mayhem. This story falls into the same time line as Blood Vengeance. In this story we get to see things from Sandy’s perspective. Life is going on as normal until a major snow story comes plowing through and her ward, Jenna, is trapped out in the elements. With a little help from a new weretiger, Max, who has come to town she’ll embark on the dangerous trek to get Jenna back home safely. While out in the elements and the cold, Sandy will discover that Max is going to do more than just help her rescue Jenna but help thaw the cold around her heart.
Tiger Tails starts off with a phone call about a field trip. Sandy has forgotten to give written permission for Jenna to be able to go. I literally laughed out loud when Sandy sees what time the school has decided to call her. I loved getting a lot of gaps filled in with this story. I was always curious as to how Sandy ended up with Mr. Peabody and I love that little side story. For me, it was so sweet of Sandy to do what she does. When Sandy and Max meet things do NOT go well. Needless to say that Sandy is not impressed but when she learns his story she cuts him some slack. I love seeing things develop between them. Normally, I hate when characters get involved quickly but this I like.
I have to say that there really isn’t anything that I don’t like about this story. I like the twists that the author throws into the story. The only thing that I would have liked to have been a part of this story is being a fly on the wall with Sandy’s conversation with the school concerning Jenna’s teacher “losing” her on the trail.
I am rating this short story 5 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed reading it and like how it fills in some of the gaps and questions I had while reading the other stories in this series. I look forward to reading more stories by this author. This short story is packed full of drama, danger and just the right balance of sweet romance. Definitely a must read for the Bewitching Bedlam series.

Maddy’s best friend Sandy Clauson is searching for her ward when she finds herself accepting the help of a tiger shifter that stirs her heart. Can Sandy and Max find her ward, Jenna even as a blizzard rains down on them?
I loved TIGER TAILS and the fact it introduces a new character named Max Davenport that is so yummy and has some serious sparks with Sandy. The simmering tension that is between these two after an awkward introduction is just yummy and kept me glued to the pages. I love that Ms. Galenorn introduced new characters to keep the town of Bedlam interesting even more. I also enjoyed finding more about Sandy and her history with Maddy. This is an author who can create such intriguing and interesting characters and tell a story that will keep you interested until the very end of the last page is read. TIGER TAILS is a fun read that flows swiftly and keeps you glued to the book till the very end.

When Jenna, Sandy’s ward is discovered missing in a wicked snowstorm on Paulson’s Peak, these two races against the clock to find her even as danger looms in the snow. I love Sandy to pieces and her interactions with Max are at first quite uninteresting until they start over and find they have a lot in common. Max is just wonderful. Sexy, soulful and downright sinful. I love how over the course of TIGER TAILS we see more of Max and his past that intrigued me. I am looking forward to seeing how Max fits in Sandy’s world and vice versa.
TIGER TAILS come around the same time as Blood Vengeance but before book two, Maudlin’s Mayhem. I highly recommend reading the series in order so you don’t get confused over how Max fits into things if you read these two novellas after book two. It just keeps things in order and perspective in my opinion. Ms. Galenorn is one of my favorite authors and is on my auto-buy for any of her books. This is an author who is a master storyteller and creates such vivid characters that you cannot help but hope you run into them on the street, the store or other places. I am eager to see where this author goes in this series and hope we won’t have to wait for book three, Siren’s Song. If you enjoy a fast-moving story full of supernatural creatures, magic and mayhem then you will just adore Bewitching Bedlam series.

***I received a free copy of this book and this is strictly a voluntary review*** This is a cute little novella featuring Sandy. What I love about this character, is that she reminds me sooo much of my sister. Down for the party, has a heart of gold for the public issues she loves, but you touch a family member..and heads will roll. This is the case for her this time. Jenna is missing from a school trip up to the mountains to practice their elemental magic skills and their is a huge storm rolling in. As luck will have it, she meets Max Davenport, a wealthy entrepreneur himself and a hunky were tiger. The two race to find Jenna in time, before she either freezes to death....or something else gets to her first. The story takes places at the same time Maddy is on vacation with Aegis and I'm happy to see Sandy finally getting another chance at love.

Sandy's book! And it did not disappoint. It was short but it was action packed, funny and entertaining.
I loved that Sandy was like a mamma bear standing up for her ward. If she's like this with a ward imagine her as a mother? Hell have no fury I say. I loved how strong she was and determine she was nothing what I thought she be, or assume from what I read in Maddy's books. The only thing I didn't like is she seemed to undermine men a bit.
Max from the little I got in the book seemed like a good man, loyal and able to fight just as hard. I think he be a great fit for Sandy.
I also loved the concept of where the creature in the book came from (read the book to find out who it was)
Overall for a novella it was a fun read, I hope to see more of Sandy's point of view later on in the series.

Her ward, Jenna, who is a student at the Neverfall Academy, goes missing during a school trip to Paulson's Peak , and a huge snowstorm is brewing.
Max Davenport, a weretiger, whom Sandy just met, and is new to Bedlam, is with her when she gets the news. He accompanies Sandy on her quest to find Jenna, through the storm, and sparks fly. Something worse than snow is waiting... something sentient.
I really loved this, as it gave a lot of insight into Sandy's character, and the depth of it. I feel as if I learned a lot about her, and can't wait to see more of Sandy and Max in the upcoming Bedlam novels !

Sandy is preparing for a boring weekend, as her friend Maddy is on vacation with Bubba, Aegis and the band (which you can read in the novella Blood Vengeance). When Sandy met a weretiger at a party she had to go to she never expected that he would be crucial to the events unfolding that stormy weekend.
In this novella we learn more about Sandy herself, her relationship to her ward Jenna and we get introduced to a yummy new character, the weretiger Max.
It is a wonderful read and you do not want it to end. Even this novella can be read by itself you would be missing out on all the characters that make this series so great.

We have a Sandy story! YAY!!!! I have been so interested in Sandy its not even funny. She is the perfect friend for Maddy. In this book, Sandy's young ward gets separated from her class on a hike, with a massive storm on the way. When Sandy gets the phone call, she is on a date (kind of a pity date lol) with Max. Max is a sexy weretiger who needs to learn how to keep him foot out of his mouth .lol When Sandy takes off to rescue her lost ward Jenna, Max goes with her. Will the sparks between them be hot enough to last in a snowstorm? Read and find out!! Its sooooo good!
This is a fast and fun read. I liked getting to learn more about Sandy and her relationships. I cant wait to see where her relationship with Max goes.

This latest installment is a short story - novelette that focuses on Cassandra Clauson, who is a powerful witch and the best friend of Maddy. When Cassandra’s ward, Jenna gets lost in a bad storm, it is up to her to lead the rescue. Helping her, is Bedlam’s newcomer Max Davenport, who is also a were-tiger. Cassandra and Max have to battle not only the elements, but, other unknown creatures that live in the forest. Are they able to find her ward, before something more sinister does? Are they able to deal with the new and dangerous creatures they encounter? This is a fast-paced wonderful read, that lets you get into the story through the descriptions given. I highly recommend that you read this story in addition to the rest of the Bedlam series

I so enjoyed this inside look at Sandy.
Sandy Clauson is a smart, bold and powerful witch. Not afraid to say what's on her mind and will tell you like it is. There is something about her I adore. I very much enjoyed Tiger Tails. This inside look at Mad Maudlin's best friend was wonderful. Sandy way seem very carefree but as we see in this short and exciting tale, that this woman has quite a bit of spunk and is not afraid to you it. Max Davenport is introduced and quite frankly I do hope we get to see more of this sexy tiger.
I am falling more and more in love with Ms. Galenorn’s Bewitching Bedlam series. Tiger Tails is a treat. I do hope we get to see more from Sandy’s view.

Sandy is on a coffee date with Tiger-shifter Max Davenport when she gets news that her young ward, Jenna, is lost in the forest in the middle of an ice storm. Max insists on helping her track the teenager down.
I like that this story comes from another viewpoint, and outlines an adventure separate from the main character. Wonderful quick paced short, and absolute must read for any fan of Ms. Galenorn's.

Tiger Tails is a novella from the Bewitching Bedlam series. Maddy’s best friend Cassandra finally gets a short story all her own. In this story Cassandra met the newest member of Bedlam, Mr. Max Davenport. While talking with him she finds out her charge, Jenna, has been abandoned on a mountain from a class trip gone wrong. Cassandra and Max must find Jenna before the snow storm freezes her to death and before any wildlife find her or them. To see what happens and learn more about our favorite bestie, read Tiger Tails. I absolutely loved this story and as always can't wait to see what happens in this world.

This novella takes place before the events of Maudlin's Mayhem, at the same time as the novella Blood Vengeance. This time around Sandy is the narrator and we learn more about her life, work, and teenage ward Jenna.
This is also the story of how Sandy met Max, her gorgeous shapeshifting boyfriend. It's a short book, so I won't spoil anything. I sat down and read it straight through in under an hour.
I enjoyed the narrative switch, and hope that Yasmine writes another book from Sandy's perspective sometime in the future.

Love the mama bear protectiveness
I can't say I'd get be a guy a second chance if he shot me a pick up line and then randomly started texting me a lot. However, in this instance it worked out. It also goes to show that everyone has their own personal story and reasons for their behavior and idiosyncrasies. Loved getting to know Sandy better, but I wish we could see more of what happens regarding the school after this short story ended. That was major mistake and I'd be murderous if someone treated my children like that.

Another quick fun read in this series. This time, the story focussing around Sandy, Maddy's best friend, who is temporarily looking after another friend's teenage daughter. When the young girl gets lost up a mountain trail in the middle of a snow storm, Sandy has no choice but to go looking for her, but luckily, help is on hand from the new-to-town sexy weretiger shapeshifter.
Fast paced, with a hint of a new romance beginning. Hopefully we will see more of Max Davenport in the rest of this series!

I received a free copy of this book and this is a voluntary review. I love the Bewitching Bedlam series and this novellette is no exception. I love that we get to see more into Sandy’s life and would love to have more novelettes about her or have her feature more into the main Bewitching Bedlam Series. Actually, I would love to see more novelettes about a lot the minor characters. I’m excited to see where Yasmine takes the Sandy and Max story line in future novels.

I am bewitched!
The Bewitching Bedlam series is fun. It is intriguing, spicy and humorous. Cassandra is a comfortable character and still a mystery waiting to reveal. I want to know more about Cassandra and about her ward Jenna.

Sandy to the rescue!!!! When Sandy's ward gets into a major situation, Sandy and new character Max must dash to save her. I love this story and its good to have a story about the secondary characters and this one is amazing!! Sandy and Mac have a tentative introduction however that quickly turns into a road that could lead to something more between the two. Hope to see more from these two.

Worth less than a dollar
I've been a following fan of Galenorn for years. The sloppy and writing of this too cute and obvious tale, reusing many of her own tropes, is beneath her. I will probably still read the next novel in this series, but that will be the rest of whether I continue following her.
I've been a following fan of Galenorn for years. The sloppy and writing of this too cute and obvious tale, reusing many of her own tropes, is beneath her. I will probably still read the next novel in this series, but that will be the rest of whether I continue following her.

Action and commitment
A particularly well crafted short piece. A nice set up for the action without being heavy handed; strong framing for the appealing and intriguing characters; and truly excellent character development. I'm looking forward to learning more about the characters in future stories.

Cute Novella
