What's not to love....it's Ian...my absolute favourite character in this series.

Ian being,

-super sexy,

-so damn adorable,

-cooking...I can't get enough of that man in the kitchen,

-having sex with Hollis wearing his apron!

Oh,and Hollis isn't bad!

Thanks Simone and Christelle for the BR, even if I was absent most of the time.....I'm blaming an annoying husband and dodgy WiFi!

For fans of this series this is a great quickie...recommended!

4 stars!

Once again I spend money on a book I usually wouldn't because of it being a shortie. But it's my Unbreakable boys and I gotta read anything and everything I can get my hands on just to get a taste. I can't wait for the spin-off series.

Although I did give this 4 stars, I will admit that Ian and Hollis are my least favorite couple.

That isn't saying anything bad considering I really do love these boys. I also love them together. I just don't think these men have a lot going on in their lives that made this collection of shorties as interesting as the ones that have come before it with the other 3 couples.
I wish we would have gotten the proposal. I wish it wasn't all about them fixing up Holly's house. I wanted more intimate moments between Ian and Hollis because even in their own book they weren't alone. It seemed they needed the other guys to fill in. Don't get me wrong, I totes wanted more of the other guys. I especially want to know more about that conversation Andrei wants to have with Lucas. That was just fucking mean. Such a fucking tease!

LOL

I ain't gonna lie. I want more of these men. ALL of them. I am horribly sadden to see it all end. I know we're getting a spin-off series, but I still feel like more could be written with these men. Just something to think about authors....

This was one story I didn’t want to read.... because it meant finally farewelling this group of men that have become very dear to my heart. I suck at goodbyes and this was definitely bittersweet, but that just made it all the more special.

Here, we once again witnessed snapshots of special moments, as everyday as they sometimes seem, between not only Ian and Hollis, but between the larger group of men that are now officially one big happy extended family.

I particularly loved the final pages in this one; this ended on a really lovely and poignant note that definitely made me teary, in all the best ways possible.

I especially like what these collections of shorts bring to the bigger picture of this series. They truly provide a calm and levity that is much needed, and deeply appreciated, in-between the more intense and sometimes grueling events of the main novels. These shorts give the series balance and, in my opinion, are completely vital to the overall experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the men of the Unbreakable Bonds books and couldn’t recommend this series more if I tried!

I was so damn excited when I found out about this surprise release of my favorite couple...and also my favorite man of this series...Hollis little-heart-hi.png (600×510)...sigh. I was in a bit of a bookslump and this little gem really made my day !!

15523923.gif (500×278)

Now I have loved every single book in this series, but Ian and Hollis...I have always loved them the hardest. Ohhhh how I wish I could love Hollis hard myself a2b2f14d412b57569f7e90e5a97246fe.png (256×256)

Anyways, this book, just like the other short stories, is filled with all kinds of goodness. I really don't want to spoiler anything, you just need to know that is sweet, it is cute and it is funny !!

I've seen you pee, Ian. I'm familar with every inch of your body and had my tongue in your ass, so what's with the shy."

  yellow submarine GIF

Let't not forget that it is also very  HOT.

"Don't wanna ever stop touching you. Or kissing you." He whispered, " Fucking you."

CDI2x7E.gif (500×250)

Of course all our favorite men make an appearance ;) These guys really are one big happy family and Hollis finally seems to have found his place among them all.

I was so very happy reading this one...but at the same time, also a bit sad. This book marks the end of the series and what an amazing series it is !! I just hope that we will still get plenty of snippets on how they are doing in the new spin-off series.

I will leave this review with Hollislittle-heart-hi.png (600×510)..(sigh)..eating one of Ian's goodies ;)

mimi-silvertongue: “#HOT DAMN FASSY!!!! ” Hollis sneaking Ian’s food…

To the authors I would just like to say: Keep em coming, because I will read them all !!! ;)

Whoa! This one was the best collection of short stories! It was so heartbreaking to saying goodbye to all these amazing couples, and it NEVER happens that I enjoy all the couples in a series to the samw level. So that automatically makes this one of my favorite series. I can never get enough of this family.

And now I definitely want Wade’s story with a Ward Security employee... Hmm, Royce seems to be older but I guess we can accept the age gap and just let the dark, intense Royce court and woo the sweet, shy Wade.... Ohhhhh, my mind is spinning imagining their story!!!

4,5 stars rounded up 😍

It's the last short story in this series and I am SO going to miss these wonderful and super hot men!

“Ian had known Lucas for nearly a decade, and he’d never seen the man smile as much as he did now. But then, he worried less about Snow because of Jude and he worried about Rowe less since Mel’s death because of Noah. And he knew that Lucas worried less about him because he had Hollis”.

What I really loved here would be the sweetness but also hotness of all the couples.
Hollis and Ian were amazing together. So glad to witness Ian's happiness! He deserved it SO much after everything he's been through.

Lucas and Andrei are my favorite couple still. It's something about Lucas's bossy attitude and Andrei's charm ❤️

Why not 5 full stars? I enjoyed the idea of all of them working together on the house, but it dragged a little. At least it felt like this for me. But it was also funny at times!

“I won’t lie and say I wouldn’t be sad if we didn’t have kids, but I love him. He makes me happier than anyone I’ve ever known. I want a life with him. I…I just don’t know how to talk to him about it.
Hollis leaned forward, both forearms on the table. “I think you should sit him down, look him dead in the eye, and say, ‘Baby, I’m pregnant.’ And just take it from there.”
😂

I am super in love with the Valentines Day thoughts from all of them.

Must read Blaze ASAP!!! 😁

I love surprises!

Especially when it comes to suprise book releases about one of my favorite couples.

The timing could not have been more perfect. After an especially earth-shattering read that almost wrecked me, I just knew I could count on these guys to make me whole again... And it was so good to laugh!
"I think you should sit him down, look him dead in the eye, and say, 'Baby, I'm pregnant.' And just take it from there."

I just love Hollis' dry humor and Ian was as adorable as when I got to know him in Shiver, especially when it comes to his cooking skills and he made me stock up on some goodies, because damn, did I got hungry...
Booknerd

Both guys are insanely hot together!!! Just one word: basement-sex!

Okay, umm, at first glance maybe this sounds anything but sexy -well, I know that at least I would definitely have a problem with all the spiders creeping around there-, but leave it to Ian and Hollis to not only burn the sheets but also use every possible location and surface for getting down and dirty.
kRIONyLand

The things I love the most about the short stories are, though, for one, the focus on the relationship. Those quiet intimate moments where we get to know these guys even better, where we learn about their fears, their dreams and how they manage their everyday life. About how everyone slowly but surely integrates into this inner circle that is a not related by blood family and how anybody else does his best to make each new 'family' member feel at home.

And I also love that there is at least one where all the guys get together and I can just enjoy their banter...
"Do you have any idea what you're doing?" Snow inquired.
"No, but that's why I'm reading this magical booklet called... the instructions," Lucas countered and Ian snorted. Well, at least he had some entertainment in Snow and Lucas.
"I never thought you'd let some lowly little instrucion manual tell you what to do."

It was quite a ride with all the guys up to this point and I enjoyed every second of it. I have a feeling that there are still lots of stories waiting to be told and I just hope that we will get to see more of them in the future.

A special thank you goes to my lovely buddies Christelle and Judith for reading this with me! Nothing could stop us, not even a talkative hubby and a stupid WiFi! ;-) You two made it even more fun! ❤️

Still so sweet the second time around.

Originally read August 2018

I just love these sweet stories of these guys in their day to day lives. And the little Valentine's Day shorts are the end were perfect!

This may be the last book in the Unbreakable Bonds series, but I refuse to believe this is the end. I need more of these guys. I'm ready to read about their white picket fenced home and 2.5 children...lol I don't care if it has to bleed into the spin off series. I just can't get enough!

This series was perfect! It had the perfect balance of angst and swoon worthy romance.

You know I have to thank you again, Anne, for the nudge to give this series another try. Thanks, girlfriend!

It seems it’s the end of the « unbreakable bonds » series (argh..I will miss these guys and their sexy romps). And It ends with this very hot novella about Ian and Hollis.

Since “Devour”, Ian and Hollis are starting a relationship. And, oh boy, they are very "energetic" in the bedroom or the bathroom or the basement, or…But they also find time to settle into their relationships, Hollis finally finding his feet into a job and going through all the “acceptance” process to be included in the inner circle of Ian’s family.

These short stories are full of very hot times, banter and swooning moments between Hollis and Ian. And I’m sure that the 4 couples will keep appearing in the upcoming spin-off : No way I would skip this new series

Thanks to Simone and Judith for this quick BR !!! It made for a perfect Sunday.

Normally, reading several chapters about 8 guys who do nothing but simply fix up a house would bore me to death.

But leave it to this crazy cast of adorable weirdos that I had a blast from start to finish. They made me laugh and blush and giggle so hard; man, I love each and every single one of these characters.

The cherry on the cake were those little Valentine’s Day short stories at the end, which just put the biggest smile on my face.

Perfect!

Short review - It’s Ian and Hollis.
Need I say more?

Slightly longer review - I love these guys. This is a fabulous series but Ian and Hollis are my favourite couple. And this is more of them so it’s good.

“You’re my family, too.” He set the razor down, turned, and leaned against the counter. “You come first now, Hollis. I love them all. They’re better than brothers. But you and me? We are a family, too. All on our own. My love for them is nothing like what I feel for you.”

Need I say more?

Awww askdhjsahdk what a wonderful end to this wonderful series. I love all these couples - even though I have favorites ;) - so I enjoyed every single book in this series immensely.

I loved seeing Ian and Hollis settled into their life together - and the extra snippets at the end with our other couples on Valentine's day. It was incredibly cute :D

Seeing the dynamic of this chosen family is wonderful, especially with main four all having boyfriends and soon-to-be husbands. All the four boyfriends fit into the group seamlessly as well - even though Hollis didn't think he did and thought he might never fit. But I feel like he did, especially after these shorts that allowed time for real bonding between Hollis and the others aside from Ian.

Now all I need is Lucas and Andrei's wedding in the spin-off (and hearing about ).

Also, I'm super excited for the spin off series, especially for Georgie and Sven's story, as they're two side characters I really enjoyed in this series. Can't wait! :D

DIY has just become ultimately attractive. :)
This was so much fun!

Fluffy and light and wonderful. Ah, it's so good to see how Ian and Hollis's relationship develops, how happy they are and how all the other guys from the Unbreakable Bonds series are doing. And let me tell you - they are all good. No, more than good. They have all found their very deserved HEA.

Loved all the banter and hot times. (That basement! XD)

And thinking of all these guys working their butts off, .... these are the impressions that book left me with ... (I may have had a bit of fun with these)

..apart from a lot of happiness and heat!

Fab and very enjoyable addition to the series!

I had mixed feelings going into this

I was happy I got to spend some more time with Ian and Hollis and the rest of the guys and all their sexy, teasing banter.

I was sad as this was the final book in this wonderful series the BEST series I have read in a LONG TIME.

Ian and Hollis are so cute together and these are a sweet collection of short stories.

After reading ALL eight books in the Unbreakable Bonds series (within 3 months) and meeting a group of fantastic guys my No1 guy is drumroll please Mr Andrei Hadeon I am crazy about this guy and I hope he will be in the new spinoff series Ward Security, can't wait for this.

What I great end to a series that I've absolutely loved! Every one of these short stories made me smile with a look at Hollis and Ian's growing love and their continued HEA.

"You're my family, too. You come first now, Hollis. I love them all. They're better than brothers. But you and me? We are a family, too. All on our own."

And then, in the final short story, we get to see all the guys together...making my heart full seeing this family grow.

Can't wait for the spin-off series, Ward Securities. Give me Sven and Geoffrey!!!

This one was pretty fluffy for the most part... fairly superficial stories for the purpose of sexy times. 😉 But it had several LOL moments, and then it ended on a profound note that made me tear up. Cheers to the progress we’ve made towards equality and here’s to a lot more where that came from. ❤️

Wow. The ride that we've been on since Shiver has been a wild one. All the way through to Unbreakable Stories: Ian...

Jocelynn Drake and Rinda Elliot has given us hot & sexy, rough & tumble, cloak & dagger, love & hate, life & death but it always ends with happy ever after. Again: wow.

I won't delve too much into the individual stories but the novelette packs a powerful punch that leaves the reader emotionally wrung out as the authors have never shied away from social commentary. And what a beautiful commentary.

There's no question that Drake & Elliott love these people they've created. These men have been shot, bludgeoned, kidnapped. They've lost lovers and innocence. But the authors always gave them (and the reader) their happy ending.

I don't think a series title could be more fitting: Unbreakable Bonds. The authors are as bound to their creation as we are. And in turn, the reader bound to author. Thank you Rinda Elliott and Jocelynn Drake. You have given your readers all the happily ever afters and you have become important names on more than a few bookshelves, both physical and virtual.

**** Ian, the amazing Chef, and Hollis,
former cop turned PI.

More shenanigans from the fabulous couple. We also see more from the big hearted "family" of guys, who share an unbreakable bond. IAN

Hollis and Ian get sweaty and sexy - a lot !
Pulling tugging, panting and biting, or being gentle, erotic, and sensual. HOLLIS

All of the men help Hollis fix up his family's old house to sell. It's fun to see Lucas, Snow, Andrei, Rowe, Noah, and some others get dirty and work hard. Love these characters so much.

Deep statements of passion filled hearts and true devotion. These novellas, Lucas, Snow, Rowe and Ian, all follow the series of books I adored. Shiver, Shatter, Torch, and Devour

It's a wonderful series by Jocelynn Drake, and Rinda Elliott.
ENJOY !

Sweet, sweet, sweet end to one of my favorite series. I couldn't wait to get Ian's book and can't even explain how exciting it was to get more! This did not disappoint at all.

Can't wait for the spin-off!

This is the very last book in the Unbreakable Bonds Series and I am so freaking sad to say goodbye to these boys but I am also so freaking super overjoyed to get Ian and Hollis's book of shorties!

If you have a KU subscription and you have not read this series, RUN (well, quickly open your browser) to Amazon and check it out while you can. I don't usually cheerlead like this, but I think that it is 100% worth taking a few hours and testing the waters. Of course, I’m biased because I love this series. I love it hard.

I have never hesitated to round up to 5 stars for any installment in the Unbreakable Bonds series. Why? Because while I have my favorites (*cough*Lucas and Andrei*cough*), I also have genuine love and affection for every single couple – which is, I think, rare in a series. Because the devotion, the loyalty, the trust – the friendships – between Lucas, Snow, Rowe and Ian are, in fact, unbreakable. Because each installment has fulfilled my little “three s” requirement – sexy, suspenseful, and sweet. Because they feel so real and right.

This can’t be read without first reading Devour. And I wouldn’t recommend reading Devour as a stand-alone because, quite frankly, you will miss some of the magic of the series. Ian and Hollis’ journey hasn’t been easy. Yet being together IS easy. There is an inherent tenderness to their relationship that I adore. Well-fought and well-deserved. And, as always, I adored the interplay and interactions with the other couples. “This Is Us” was my favorite story in the collection because all the men were present and active. I legit teared up at Hollis’ note. I so want to see that particular event unfold. I NEED IT!

I think that this is the last novel OR novella focusing on our men, which makes me fairly distraught. I’ll be honest: I’m greedy and I want more. When a series ends, you generally feel more or less satisfied that all of the story has been told. I don’t feel that way at all. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get more substantial revisits in the future. And in the meantime, I'll live for glimpses of them in the spin-off series.

Jocelynn and Rinda, thank you. My "real life" was particularly difficult in 2016/7 - deaths in the family, a move to a different city, a certain presidential election - and these books have brought me much joy!
