Pippa, Charlie, and the rest of humanity will have to fight for survival, sacrificing the life they’ve known to protect Earth from an ancient and previously dormant enemy. Even that might not be enough as this new enemy exacts a plan that will change the course of humankind forever.
Critical Dawn is an apocalyptic ride to the very edge of human existence. Factions will battle for control of the Earth—if they can avoid the threat of extinction.

Destroying the croatoan’s seat of power has grave consequences.
Earth faces destruction, unless bitter enemies can work together.
Earth is recovering after Denver and his group managed to stamp out the immediate alien threat. Now, Denver and his team, stationed in a liberated croatoan farm, plan to restore humanity as the dominant force. But when shocking information comes to light, they set off on an immediate mission north.
The team encounter a hybrid city, where humans and croatoans live and work together. It’s here in this strange new civilisation that Denver discovers there’s a bigger threat to the planet than the aliens already on the surface: something far more terrible is coming. It’ll be a race against the clock to defeat this new threat and Denver will need all the help he can get.

A fight for survival in an alien world.
Revenge is planned against Unity.
Denver, Charlie and Layla are trapped in the middle of a galactic conflict which has spanned across many millennia. With no immediate allies on either side, they must use all of their skill and strength to stay alive and find a way back to Earth—if there is one.
An old enemy of Unity is intent of making them pay for his humiliating treatment. He's gathering forces to the south with vengeance in mind. Mike and Mae must work together with the citizens of Unity to find a way of repelling Augustus' force, or face extinction at the hands of the old emperor.
Critical Strike is the exciting third and final instalment of the Invasion Trilogy.

enjoyable read
I found it took me a while getting into the story
then I realised I was enjoying it, characters were
realistic very different and entertaining, and i was more reluctant to put it
down its a great story and well worth the read

The Critical Trilogy Box Set
I really enjoyed this book it is full of aliens from other planets who invaded the earth and courageous earthlings that fought against terrible odds to save earth. I'd love to see what happens in a future book

Interesting
Never read anything quite like this. It was good and the characters were fun. The only issue I had with it was the editing. There are big mistakes all through the series and I would suggest the author find a new editor.

Bleh
I got maybe 40% through before I couldn't convince myself that the aliens aren't idiots. The description was OK but aliens who travel between stars can't build farming ships that yield better crops at a fraction of effort and energy, are aliens either too stupid or demented to live. Planetary invasions without the goal of genocide or as part of civil war makes not much sense.
It's not a fault of the story as much as the premise in the invasion novel. If you can't get past the resource extraction on planets, when asteroidal sources are easier, the story seems flat. Eating humans who just happen to be edible despite different life development, is weird. Using random environmental conditions to grow food, instead of just building controlled food producing stations killed my ability to believe the background world.

I enjoyed every page!!
The Invasion Series begins pre-invasion with Charlie, Pippa, and Mike as archeologists who just found a blue bead at a dig site. Little do they know the earth is about to become invaded. After the aliens invade the story jumps 30 years ahead to Charlie trying to take down the Croatians (the invading aliens). This series is filled with page after page of action. I will definitely be reading more books from this author.

Good action packed trip
An action packed sci-fi story taken up a few notches. My only issue with the story was the Stargate straight from the tv shows. Now that I think back, Agustus, an old Roman emperor was like Ra, an old Roman god from Stargate again. But still, it was a good read.

Kept me intrigued throughout
I really enjoyed reading this trilogy. It kept my interest from beginning to end. I would like to see another book in the series with Denver's adventure s.

The critical Trilogy Box set
Excellent sci-fi. This story has all the action and adventure that you could ask for in a good read. The story does have some grisly parts but done as not in your face.

Great trilogy, just a shame it came to an end.

Excellent trilogy!!!!!!
This trilogy was excellent. It was hard to put my Kindle down at night. Easy to follow story line and recognizable characters. A very good read.

enjoyable scfi with alien attack and human resistance. The characters were well developed and likeable. I had to keep reading to see what happened.

Good story although party too nuch detailed.
Amazing story, thinking about what can be out there, but too much luck for the main characters. A sequel would be very interesting.

Dont waste your time
The 5 star reviews must come from the authors friends because these books are horrible. I quit at chapter 3 book 2. The idea that a person survives a bomb at ground zero of the explosion is too ridiculous. There's no real character development so I dont care who lives or dies. The villain is a useless punk and a rapist but the girl has no problem riding around with him and no one just puts a bullet in his head even though there's plenty of opportunities. I cant stand reading when hes in it. Its one of those books where im constantly trying to decide if I wantr to continue so obviously its not a page turner that holds interest. Then there's the appalling lack of editing. Wrong words, missing words, misspellings galore. Its a giant word salad where some sentences are so messed up it takes a few tries to decipher it. Dont pay for this thing. If you can read it for free and want to waste time, well...good luck.

I didn't like this set at all.
Poor, unbelievable plotline, ridiculous characters, mistakes in formatting on every other page, I barely made it through the first part of the first book before I had had enough. I am used to reading ebooks with so much more depth and plausibility that I couldn't go any farther. And that is saying a lot right there, because I always give new and Indie writers the benefit of the doubt, and try to finish their books hoping that they will get better as I move along. I feel badly for giving this collection such a negative review, but I'm being honest. I really did not like this series at all.

Best yet
Your characters journey through trial and tribulation is well written and exciting. The trilogy is logical with numerous twists and turns interspersed through out this trilogy Thanks again for a well written scifi

Good read
Was a good read. Wasn't happy with the fact that the book was renamed. The last book was excellent. Not sure what the other name of the book was..

Took a bit to get going but good after that
The first 50 pages of the book were very slow. Once you actually realized what was going on, it was much better.
