About the author

Crazy woman from a remote location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

TBH, the book blurb says it all (see below), what it doesn't say, however, is how Fantome totally nailed mixing suspense with humour. This was quite thrilling and fast paced. Loved it!

Fun cover for an equally fun book. Great composition. Great use of graphics. Bright and bold colors. LOVE it!



Where do I start with this one? This book was SO much fun. Snort out loud action packed fun, and I loved every single minute of it. Fantastically well written and paced. Filled with many laugh out loud moments. Whitty Banter. Twists and turns. Nonstop action. Hot sex scenes. Two extremely likable main characters. Dead bodies. Drug dealers. Strippers. Raves. Stalkers. Shootouts...and so much more.

I can't recommend this one enough. Two thumbs up from yours truly.

JUST A LITTLE JUNK: is a ‘Contemporary Romance’ stand alone novel by ‘Stylo Fantome’

Fuck me side ways and back again because this little bugga is going to be hard to review!! This is completely unique in it’s entirety, I can not compare this to anything I have read, seen or heard about, this just got me out of the most suckiest book funks known to booklovers..This review is going to be a vague, no frills write up only because this book deserves to be read without any spoilers divulged.

Now onto the review.

Imagine partying your ass off at a club, doing your thing against a guy you’d just met on the dance floor, you get sooooo wasted you don’t even remember coming onto your best friend in the whole wide world.

Waking up to the mother fucker of all hangovers should’ve been the worst of it, opening the trunk of her car was definitely the worst moment of her life, and gazing down into a dead body just about tipped her over the edge, then realising it was the guy she was dancing up has three bullet holes in his chest yeah that's was a double whammy!!

He was her brothers sexy out of her league best friend, She was his friends off limits little sister.

All in the course of one fucked up weekend!!

Now it’s a race against time with her side kick Archer to retrace her last steps of that night, Who is he? How did he get in there? How did he die? And oh dear lord, did she kill him!?

Simple right, think again, where these two are concerned where things would seem simple to us are so simple for these two.

Getting wasted at a rave, dodging bullets, causing a fire in her apartment, you’ll have so many laugh out loud moments you’ll lose count. so many twists and turns you’ll get whip lash, loveable batship crazy characters that will leave you wishing for more, sexy moments that will have you claiming Archer as yours. I can’t recommend this enough. This may have been the first read for me by this author but it definitely won’t be the last. Cray Cray loved it!!

This story was a laugh and a half, a freaking riot, and read like a comedy with a little love story thrown in. It was something different from Stylo Fantôme and I enjoyed the heck out of it.

Archer and Jo have been friends forever. After a night on the town, a night we the reader get a glimpse of, Jo wakes up to a dead body in the trunk of her car and no memory of what happened the night before. Best friends who help take care of a dead body together stay together and so Archer helps Jo to retrace her night and discover who the dead guy really is.

These two were jumping out of buildings, dodging bullets, and somehow finally gave in to the feelings they had for one another. While I loved the high intensity of each scene, I wanted the ending to give me more, to convince me of this couple and assure me that it was truly a happy ending. However, there wasn't anything in this story to really complain about because this author gave me something special - a crazily unique storyline.

5 "Skittles and Sunshine" Stars


This story is a fast paced, witty, funny, romantic suspense mystery of sorts. A friends to lovers caper with the perfect mix of angst, high jinx and dark comedy. This story is a deviation from what this author normally writes, but it's definitely refreshing and puts a big smile on your face.

As I stated above, it a mystery of sorts. So to delve into details would take away from this crazy over the top journey into why there is a dead man in Jodi's trunk. Jodi is that girl that everyone knows. She is sweet, adorable, sassy and has been in love with her brother's friend for forever. Archer is her brother's friend. He is sweet, funny and has been crazy about Jodi for forever. He lives in the same complex as her and well let's say that have a great relationship. They watch out for one another, they drive each other crazy and neither knows how the other feels. So when Jodi finds herself in this pickle, she goes to her best friend Archer for help........and the adventure begins.

Their adventures in trying to find out how this dead body got in Jodi's truck is non stop action......including a rave party and getting shot at. In this whole adventure, the chemistry between Jodi and Archer is fantastic. It is sweet, sassy and snarky. No matter the setting, no matter the genre, Stylo Fantôme nails banter every single time. From angst to action to romcom, the hero and heroine become endeared to your heart. And this story is endearing, fast paced, witty, light and funny. You can't help but love Jodi and Archer.

So if you need a book that just is #Fun and #Crazy and #OverTheTop, this one is it. One also with #GreatBanter between the characters that makes you #Laugh and #Sigh and that is a #Standalone and #PureEnjoyment...... #JustALittleJunk - #OneClickNow

5 'JoJo & Archie' STARS

This was such a hilariously amazing read. Stylo had me totally engrossed in this story and laughing every step of the way. This is one wild and zanny ride.



I love the versatility of this author. I just never quite know what I'm going to get, but I've enjoyed every single one of her books that I've read and I'm adding this one to the pile. Let's pause here as I confess for the umpteenth time, I have not read the Kane Series and yes, I'm a bloody idiot and will get to it STAT. I MUST meet Jameson Kane.



Okay, now that we have that out in the open, let's move on.



For fans of Ms. Stylo, it sorta has the vibe of Best Laid Plans - my absolute fav from this author - but it's different. Jodi and Archer are childhood friends that have gone for years with secret crushes on each other. So much so, their attraction has morphed into that sarcastic, flirty, dirty, over-the-top banter that only two sexual frustrated friends who want to bang their friends can be. You know what I mean.

This tension and the banter -- the f*@king banter - is hilarious, and it's only the icing on the cake because this story has it all. Loads of action, danger, laughter, romance (well sorta in a wacky sort of way) and also sweet moments.



I really like Jo. She was my kind of girl and would love to do a GNO with her! And Archer *sigh*



Like Jo, I loved him. That. Is. All. Together, these two were awesome and this was a fun, quick and entertaining read. You gotta grab this one!!

I'm not really excited when Stylo Fantome announced this book because I wish for another The Bad Ones or Kane Trilogy. A romantic suspense with comedy didn't really mix well in my mind. But surprisingly I finished the book and enjoyed it. Maybe I'm in the good mood, huh?



Let me ask you a question. What are you gonna do when found a dead guy in your trunk? Imagine how do Jodi Morgan feel after bad hangover and she barely remember anything. Fortunately, Archer Calhoun, her older-brother's-high-school-best-friend-slash-partner-in-crime-slash-the-dude-she-wanted-to-bang-so-hard-it-made-her-grind-her-teeth-at-night is ready to help. But how 'bizarre' is their journey from selling cokes into mind-blowing sex?

She was upset because for ten years, she had been fantasizing about kissing Archer Calhoun. Dreaming about it, wishing for it. He would kiss her under a full moon and realize she was everything he'd ever wanted in life, blah blah blah.
Never once had any of those fantasies involved a dead body, the police, or being on the 101 in broad daylight.

Whew.. Jodi aka Jojo is a wild girl. Maybe her motto is 'Work hard, play harder'. At first, there's not much to tell about Jojo beside her job as a waitress in strip club and beat up car. She's just crazily poor. Then, she asked for Archer whose strangely calm to start their mission. Who the hell is the dead guy?

The only thing I like and enjoy is the silly banter between them. Jojo and Archer has weird chemistry that really bind them together. They're just couldn't hands off each other. From their description, both of them are too-perfect-to-be-true; except for their (sometimes)annoying attitude. Still, they're really amused me until the end.



I don't expect much because the story somehow is very predictable. Still nicely written but I didn't like the twist. It makes everything seems coincidental. Overall, it was an easy and enjoyable read without makes me think too hard. I'd recommend this as a light suspense with sprinkles of mischievous.

FIVE HILARIOUS STARS *****

I've always been a fan of Stylo Fantôme, and now that I've discovered that she can write rom-coms so well, my level of admiration and utter love has skyrocketed. This book was a ton of fun from beginning to end. The characters banter was hilarious and totally addictive, I couldn't get enough.



Jodie and Archer have been friends since they were kids. They always had an attraction for each other but never acted on it, because Jo is the little sister of Archer's best friend. Archer promised his friend to never hit on his little sister and to always take care of her.

Years later the attraction is still there, perhaps even more intense but Jodi and Archer have also become best friends and even neighbors. They are each other's ride or die. Which is why after a drunken night at a club, when Jodie wakes up in her car and finds something scary inside her trunk, Archer is the first person she thinks of asking for help.

Archer would do absolutely anything and everything for his Jojo. Every day together is an adventure with these two. Follow then in a sexy, fun and dangerous adventure where the craziest things will happen and you will love every minute of it.

Unexpected, unpredictable and totally addictive, this book is something special that I'm sure anyone who reads it will enjoy it.

Just A Little Junk was one of the wildest and craziest ride I've ever had! Stylo Fantôme nailed it again. And this time, it's another blast of her excellent writing spiced up with good humor and hilarity you'll never expect!

Wow! That's what was on my mind the moment I started reading this book. I've been a fan of Stylo and every time, she made me really in awe of her talent. Her knack of twists and turns got me always and I have never been more glad I stumbled upon her works. When I learned about her up coming release with a mention of romcom plus reading these lines, "Warning: This book contains some dark humor, a lot of witty banter, and two characters making more bad decisions than good ones. Also contains adult themes, language, and graphic sexual activity. " I did not think twice, I said COUNT.ME.THE.FUCK.IN! My God, this is new and all I wanna say is, I could not be more excited!

Just A Little Junk indeed is one hell of a crazy ride with Archer and Jodi. First few pages and I wanna bottle up these two characters because I can feel an instant connection with them. They are portrayed uniquely and I love them right from the very beginning. I could not count the times I've been laughing so hard tears are leaking out my eyes due to my constant laughing. And it was a good laugh. I was so surprised and was even more a fanatic of Stylo's writing more than ever. Admittedly it's all because I am more attuned of her mind fuck style of writing, the angst, the excitement, the anticipation and the adrenaline rushing. And this book right now was just refreshing yet full of anticipation still coupled with a laugh out loud scenes and priceless bickering and banters from the characters. Plus, what's a romcom without a steamy sex scenes right? Whoop! And it was scorching! Never mind the dead body in the trunk!

Overall, I love everything about this book hard. The adventures of the characters to seeks answers were wild and crazy. From one bad decision to the next, I devoured it. Been cheering them on and rooting until the end. Jodi and Archer were easy to love so reading this book was so enjoyable and a lot of fun. I even went over gaga with them too and I wanna take a ride with their adventures for real. Like seriously for real. What's more? I love Stylo Fantome's writing style. Her romcom is like no other. Been laughing so hard and awaiting for the next scene. This book was not just about humor it was more! The twists and turns were just perfectly crafted and I never expected it. I was on the edge, and it's romcom for heaven's sake! But then it was a good one and just added a substance to the story so who am I to complain? Gawd! Only Stylo could knock it off with this kind of trope and I am hands down to her talent, It's WOWZA!

I highly recommend this book. If you're up with a good read, refreshing, OTT yet packed with awesomeness and a lot of fun, pick this book and surely you will enjoy every bits of pieces!

This stand-alone, contemporary, romantic suspense, dark comedy story from Stylo Fantome provides a whacky ride unlike any other. Think of The Hangover movie mixed with a friends to lovers romance element full of zany escapades and unexpected surprises. Coupled with Fantome's energetic, addictive, and unique story telling style you're in for a a great ride in Jodi Morgan's car - just don't open the trunk....

For the sake preserving this story and it's fast-paced plot I will not go into great detail about the characters. Jodi Morgan, damsel in distress, finds herself with a hangover and a very big problem the likes of which she can't remember. She enlists the help of her neighbor/long time crush/best friend to help solve the mystery of her very fuzzy night. The two embark on a ridiculously fun caper of banter-filled, easy camaraderie mystery solving leading them to places they never expected with unforgettable and equally ridiculous characters. Jodi and her fellow love interest/partner in crime/super sleuth never stop in this book, they fight like crazy, yell at each other, are the most playful, and a deep and genuine affection for one another. The time frame is short for their story but Stylo Fantome packed it chalk full of entertaining, romantic, funny, and sweet moments amidst the chaos.

I felt happy while reading Just a Little Junk, simply happy. I smiled and laughed throughout the entire story. It's unlike anything I've read in a such a fun and awesomely outrageous way. Yet woven through the pages the familiarity of a friends to lovers story struck my romantic reading chord from start to finish. Stylo Fantome did an a completely excellent job of turning a potential disaster of a fictional situation into a fun, sexy, and perfectly executed book. I could see Jodi's story playing out before me as I read, a testament to the specific, concise, and unique writing chops of Fantome. It was a great pleasure to read this story - an unforgettable ride, a zany mystery, a wise cracking lovable hero, and the quirky cute damsel in distress you'll want to have a beer with after.

In case you didn’t read The Kane trilogy from this author, YOU MUST read it. Like every other author, Stylo Fantome has a unique style of writing. Humorous, funny as hell, intense action, exciting, suspenseful, mind blowing and of course…H O T.

Just a little Junk starts with…Jodi a.k.a Jo a.k.a Jojo



Jodi is partying in a club with her friends and she is very drunk, and when I mean very, I’m saying unconscious drunk. She has a secret crush on her best friend, actually her brother best friend, who now that he left became her best friend. So…since she is drunk she hits on him and trays to make him jealous.

Archer a.k.a Archie



Archer is the sexy hot as hell best friend, the neighbor of Jodie. He swerved to Jo’s brother that will protect her, take care of her and never touch her. She was off limits to him. But Cupid made his way after all. He was head over heels for her since they were kids, teenagers, and he became in love with her.

So as a best friend…lover boy he had to take care of her right !?



The next day when Jojo wakes up with the mother of all hangover’s, as this wasn’t just enough when she opens the trunk of her car, she wakes up for real when she sees a dead body in her trunk.

Now, this is all the fun and adventure starts. I’m telling you…this is when your heart, pulse, and breathing takes off. Like for real. Is all suspense, mystery, funny jokes, hotness and exciting.

I LOVED their relationship as friends, as lovers, as partners. To me, were some moments when she was a total Dom. And I don’t mean it in a sexual way.



No…he was all honey and sweets, not to upset her or to push her away.

But Archie was definitely the bad ass hero of the story. He was powerful, smart, determined. He knew what he wanted, tried in vain to stay away from Jojo, just to be her best friend because he thought he wasn’t good enough for her, that she deserved much better than him…but in the end….

So….if your heart is in good condition and if you want to read something suspenseful, exciting, funny and obviously HOT…

…This book is the one you need…

Super cute!

Just a Little Junk (in the trunk) was a cute ass book. I love Stylo! It reminds me of that movie, The Hangover but with some more romance added to it. The smut was so good! The twists and turns made this a page turner. Then there's the whole dead bodies thing that you kind of have to wrap your mind around.

Archer and Jo are the best of friends. Through thick and thin. Till death do they part, because honestly.. they are each other's ride or dies at this point. Especially after there was a dead body found in her trunk after a crazy ass night. Together they try to figure out what the hell happened over night and who the dead guy in her trunk is.

Honestly, I can't tell you how many times I laughed or cried. I cried from laughing way too hard because this book was hilarious. I loved everything about it and I even winced when she woke up hungover. Been there and done that.. but never found a dead body in my trunk *KNOCKS ON ALL THE WOOD IN AND AROUND HER HOUSE*.

Overall, I can't wait to dive into the next book written by Stylo.

So I first discovered Stylo Fantôme when a blogger friend of mine was gushing over her Mercenaries Series. After diving into BEST LAID PLANS, I was completely HOOKED! Her originality and uniqueness in her stories just blew me away. That was back in 2015 and I still remember everything about that book. Then her Twin Estates Series came about and I was an absolutely goner for that series as well. In fact, NEIGHBORS was a TOP PICK for me last year. So when I hear about JUST A LITTLE JUNK, I didn't need any preview, synopsis, or teasers. I knew I was going to be first in line to get my greedy paws on Ms. Fantôme's next big hit! And of course...I FREAKING LOVED IT!

Not only does she lace this book with witty bitter and hilarious scenarios, she throws in enough suspense to get your motor running for days. I was only a little under halfway through this book when I thought to myself, I NEED to see this book on the big screen! It has all the makings of an EPIC movie! I could picture it the whole way through. The author painted such a glorious and vivid picture with her words, that it just played out like a movie right in front of me. I could picture the cast, the location, and just the hilarity of it all.

"I wish I could be good enough for you."

Jodi and Archer were EVERYTHING together! This friends-to-lovers epic thrill ride was one that I will never forget and will definitely want to relive over and over again. There are twists and turns you will not see coming. There is comedic aspects that will have you laughing out loud. And of course, there is a romance factor that will fill your heart with such joy you will not be able to wipe the grin off of your face. This was more than a romantic comedy. This was a freaking adventure and I never wanted it to end!

"I want you to come for me, and I want to know it's not because of drugs, or some fucking part, or some stupid fantasy. I want it to be only for me."

Oh and don't you worry, there is plenty of SEXY TIMES to be had in this one! It just happens to come with a bundle of laughs. JUST A LITTLE JUNK had the perfect blend of every single thing you want in a romance...comedy, angst, suspense, romance...it had it all and I can guarantee that you will fall HARD fast, just like I did.

Just a Little Junk by Stylo Fantome is a romantic comedy/ mystery novel. There are pieces of the book, and perhaps the mix of the genres as well, that remind me of some of my other favorite novels like Jed Had to Die and Rock Chick. So I really enjoyed this aspect overall. Another appealing piece of this books are the characters. They have just the right amount of humor to keep readers laughing. However, I didn't really feel the "seriousness" of the situation they were put in which turned me off just a little bit. Other than that their sass, snark, and overall banter is perfect for the novel. Finally, this cover needs some love. I am a cover-lover and not afraid to admit it. And yes, I do judge books by their covers (well, in terms of whether I will pick them up or not) and this one spoke to me immediately. Dare I say, it may be on my top 3 favorite covers of 2017? Yes! The colors, vividness, and uniqueness of it really drew my attention and I really love it!

With that, this is a fun, easy-going, and lighthearted read. There is some violence, mentions and uses of drugs (which the author writes in a humerus way), some sexy times, and mystery. It's a friends to lovers romance as well and has little angst but a lot of misunderstandings. The whole mystery of the story surrounds a dead body that the heroine finds in her trunk and then the adventure that ensues to figure out just how it got there. Overall, it's a unique idea and the author did a great job piecing at all together.

I had no idea what I let myself in for when I began reading this book, which worked out to be a good thing for me.

Jodi is shocked to find a dead body in the boot of her car after a night out drinking with her friends. She is totally freaked out and engages the help of Archer, her neighbour, best friend and friend of her brother. He is also the guy she has been crushing on for years.

'She wanted to go home and have hot, nasty, crazy, heart attack inducing sex with him. But he treated her like she was his little sister or something.'

Instead of doing the logical, sensible thing with the corpse in her trunk, they make a million bad choices which culminates into an exciting, thrilling suspenseful story that had me on the edge of my kindle. Whilst all this is going on, these two are finally being honest with each other about their feelings. They already have an amazing friendship but something bigger has been brewing between them and is finally coming to fruition.

'Jesus, Archer. Why didn't you ever say anything? My breasts think about you all the time.' 'Because,' he whispered, his hands coming to a rest around the bottom of her neck. 'You're too perfect. I couldn't ruin you.'

They are now caught up in a life threatening situation, there are people after them, gunfights, drug lords, lots of real mean baddies and there is still a dead body in the trunk of the car! They don't know who they can trust anymore and trying to stay one step ahead of the people chasing them was so stressful for me the reader that I felt like I was there with them.

As more truths are revealed Jodi is left feeling completely blindsided, it's like being in the twilight zone, maybe it's just a bad reality tv show? I got so caught up in the speedy pace of this story, it was a really exciting read and I LOVED all the banter between Jodi and Archer, so freaking funny!

This is one of the funniest books I read this year. The often sarcastic but witty banter between Jojo(Jodi) and Archer will keep you entertained. The plot is a bit dark with a twist as you read along. The story is something different from what Stylo usually write however she shows how versatile she can be as a writer. Just a Little Junk a dark comedy that I thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end.

I absolutely loved it! You got a little bit of everything with this one. There were funny parts, you've got your murder/mystery parts. Lots of action going on. It wasn't dark or angsty, just a great entertaining book! I loved Jo and Archie, they were great together. Man what a crazy messed up weekend they had. Seriously, those two crack me up. I would love to read more with them, I couldn't get enough!

Stylo Fantôme is a master story teller.the entire story revolves around Jodi and her childhood crush/big-brother's- best-friend, Archer Calhoun. One weekend, she wakes up after her drunken escapades to find a dead body in her trunk!!
The hilarious hurricane that blows in their lives pulls their legs from under them and in just over the weekend, they go crazy from running from the goons to crazy in love

I've never laughed so hard , or spit out my tea as I did while reading this slapstick dark comedy.
The situations, the slick one liners, the humour is A class , top notch. Jodi and Archers banter keeps the story alive and running. She's got things exploding around her, bullets zinging past her, all because she got a body in her trunk!
And the sex is oh gawd, panty melting, stars exploding in your eyes, Hot!!
No warning, no working up to it, just bam. Archer Calhoun and his body parts, making themselves at home inside of her.It allowed his dick to reach places inside her even she hadn't known existed. Her eyes rolled so far back in her head, she swore she could look into the past, present, and future. Awesome weekend.
Thoroughly enjoyed laughing my pretty little ass off.
Go read the book, world needs more laughter like this !

If you like a funny, albeit, over the top rom-com, reminiscent of The Hangover with a splash of Weekend at Bernie's, you should give this a try. (((The scene at the rave is my favorite of the whole book))). I thought this was a totally fun read, while not life-changing or anything quite like that, though.  And, other than the twist near the end and everything following after, this could have been a solid 4-stars.  That whole scene…it was just too over the top for me.  But hey, it could make for an entertaining movie, I'm sure.

I don't think i've laughed as much as i did with just a little junk when it comes to Stylo Fantome's books. It was a mix of arrogance, snark, sarcasm and a whole lot of freaking out from Jo and Archer when she opens the trunk of her car the morning after she went out with her friends, getting deliriously drunk. Trying to retrace their steps to find out what actually happened, these two had me captivated and in stitches. Seriously, who could resist these two when they're as uncoordinated as the next person?

4 breath taking dreams



Even with those elements that i've come to associate with Stylo Fantome - suspense, sexual tension, snarky and bright characters, Just A Little Junk was completely different from any of her preivous release. Is it a romantic comedy? Romantic suspense? Erotic suspense? It just might be a little of everything as we follow Jo and Archer to find the truth of what one night did. After this, i can't wait for Stylo Fantome's next book and find out how she'll top this one!

Now, I've had my fair share of wild nights, albeit none that have ended with a dead man in the boot of my car. Jodi Morgan on the other hand, did. And she doesn't have a clue how the hell he got there.



I laughed, oh how I laughed. It would be so hard not to laugh at the predicament that Jodi finds herself in, she handles it marvellously well...thanks to the oh so lovable Archer Calhoun.



Archer Calhoun - witty, funny, lovable, sexy, #Carharts and all. He's been best friends with Jodi for years, and over the years they've built up a solid friendship. They know everything about each other. So when Jodi needs help, Archer is more than willing to help...hangover and all.

And so a journey of epic proportions begins.

Stylo has the knack to story telling down to a T!, which ALWAYS has me coming back for more. I loved the story, characters, naughty scenes and all the scenes in between, that you'll have to read for yourself ; )
So have a little respite from life and READ this Lol story, you'd be daft not to.

I’m just going to put this out there, I seriously have a crush on Stylo Fantome, her ability to write in any genre and her off the wall sense of humour that always shines through in her work are second to none for me. Just a Little Junk is a story that has it all from dark humour that will have you snorting out loud to hot steamy sex that will have you panting out loud. I am just in love with this book.

Jo is a great lead that decides to have a blow out night out with her friends that sees her getting blind drunk and waking up with a body in the trunk of her car. After enlisting the help of her friend and major crush Archer **sigh** we are taken along on a journey to retrace Jo’s weekend and solve the mystery of the body, a crazy journey.

A fantastic read that you won’t want to put down, full of brilliant banter between the two leads that you are just waiting for them to get it on and when they do it is crazy hot. If you loved Best Laid Plans then you will love this story to as it has a similar vibe that I loved.
Another sure hit for Stylo and I can’t wait to see what comes next

"If a person couldn't cry over a random dead body in their trunk, that they may or man not have killed, then what could a person cry over?

For what feels like years, I've wanted to read Stylo's stories, I've heard nothing but good things and this book has definitely lived up to the hype, although I don't believe this is her typical style, this story is on the lighter side, even i though it has lots of 'adult themes' I really can't say more than that because well... nobody wants to read a dang spoiler!

This book took off like a horse out of the gait and didn't slow down until it was over and even still now, sitting here typing up this review I want more! I *needed* to know how and why there was a dead body in Jojo's trunk!

The chemistry and missed connection-ish ness between Archer and Jo was perfectly on point, yes, he was originally her brothers best friend, but over the years he became better friends with Jojo when her brother went to college and left his sister and best friend behind.

"I've always been a part of you. You just never noticed."

This story was kind of reminiscent to "The Hangover" and will have you on the edge of your seat trying to figure it out. But when you find out what's truly going on you head will spin and your mind will explode at the sheer brilliance of this book.

"She'd spent all weekend ... thinking all of the wrong thoughts believing all the wrong truths."

This story was like a cozy mystery on drugs! Check your trunk and strap in, so you too can find out who the dead body is in Jo's trunk!
