Space is your butt!! Zim uses his ultimate power to finally defeat Dib. That useless human. Humiliate him and make him go cry cry cry all the way home...
4.5⭐️ Me encanta volver a ver estos personajes, que los cómics sigan teniendo su humor tan característico, que aunque los masaltos se la pasen burlándose de Zim, no puedo evitar soltar la carcajada en cada una de sus escenas.

The comics match up with what the cartoon was like. It does feel like i’m watching a episode of invaders zim. Though i do think comic 1 & 2 should of been one comic. Comic 1 & 2 is like one story. Zim goes to extended length to make Dib missable.
The comic does have funny moments. If you enjoy invador’s zim you will like this one.
It is nice to see the Almighty Tallest again. Amusingly, it has been so long since they have heard from Zim that they have forgotten about him. And, apparently, they know someone named Invader Jim. I am confused about whether Tak's reprogrammed ship would still have Dib's voice or whether the voice has been reverted back to Tak's voice. Since it has Tak's personality and we already have Dib here, I just imagine Tak's voice. What we learn in a humorous fashion is that buying stuff from gift shops may - or even may not - help one gain information. Eventually, both Dib and Zim locate the Gargantis Array. Dib fires at Zim's ship, but GIR flies Zim out into space. Just as with Star Wars: Kanan #5, I am baffled by the fact that it looks like a character survived in space without a helmet. I had to go back to the "Planet Jackers" episode, and it looks like Zim has a transparent helmet that is invisible at times. I guess that we are supposed to imagine that Zim's normal suit has the helmet and that it is activated here. It takes Dib and Zim two days to reach the core of the Gargantis Array. While that is amusing, I have to wonder whether or not they eat or drink anything during that time. Maybe I should stop thinking of logic during Invader Zim. What Dib believes to be a weapon is actually the strongest signal transmitter in the universe. Zim broadcasts Dib's embarrassing workout montage, and the entire universe laughs. I can laugh at this too, but the ending feels abrupt to me because I expected this whole thing to be an arc. The ending of issue 1 gave me that impression. At least now I know what to expect. I suppose that I should be thankful that this story was not dragged out for too long. The ending might have felt more lackluster, in that case.

When I first found out about these comics I was so excited, I couldn't wait to read them. And when you grew up watching the show you get so excited when a piece of your childhood is revived. What's better is when that revival is extremely amazing and well done that you feel like it never actually ended.
Zim and Dib travel through space as Zim basically leads Dib on a wild goose chase. Of course Zim has a reason for his exploits and of course Dib follows to stop Zim, because he's the only one that can save the human race from the Irken Invaders. But Dib is really bad at saving the world which makes it all funny, especially in the case of the spaceship arguing with him.
All and all, I'm extremely satisfied with these comics so far and I hope they continue. I hate to see my favorite characters leave the world again.
Star rating :4.5 Stars. I should note somewhere, that I have the whole first volume in it's entirety on my Kindle. I just prefer to rate them as individual comics. As I think they should be rated. Not every issue will be created equal I'm sure. These are really quick reads for me, which is why I like them. The ZIM charm is all there. It feels like ZIM. I can hear the characters voices in my head, The art is of course very unique and thats what really draws me to Jhonen's work. It stands on its own. I found myself laughing out loud a few times. This did not disappoint! And today I needed a laugh. If you need a laugh, I recommend this.
