Two judges from the supreme court were killed in a mysterious way in USA.
A young lawyer, Darby Show has written the pelican brief, it's a theory that explains the connection between the two crimes, she knows who killed them, it may cost her life if the secret is discovered. Somehow the white house is involved and the president is threatened not to be elected again because of this terrible crime.

I've been reading this book because my teacher informed us that we needed to read a new story for the second exam of the year. I thought it was going to be boring but The Pelican Brief was an interesting and a great choice. Every death is a big surprise and I never expected to have a happy ending.

Listened to this on a drive to VA Beach. I liked it, but it was a bit far-fetched. Was my first John G. novel, and I'd like to try another. Any recommendations?

Much of what you'd expect. A good read, hard to put down.

A great yarn by the new writer, John Grisham. His dry wit draws you in and you get zapped with unexpected turn of events. Keeps you on the edge of your book!
