Karen Witemeyer, Jody Hedlund, and Elizabeth Camden are among the most acclaimed authors in the historical romance genre--their novels have won a RITA award, a Christy award, a Christian Book Award, and multiple Carol Awards. These beloved writers offer for the first time ever in print three unforgettable historical novellas that celebrate true love:

Karen Witemeyer's "Worth the Wait" takes readers to the Harper's Station women's colony, where a young mother must overcome pain and fears of the past in order to trust a gruff but kind freighter who has helped the women expand their business.

Jody Hedlund's "An Awakened Heart" follows a young widow into the shadows of New York's tenements, where she and a newly appointed minister spar over the best way to care for the poor and orphaned.

Elizabeth Camden's "Toward the Sunrise" finds a female medical student trying to overcome the ramifications of a decision that leaves her at the mercy of a stubborn but handsome attorney.

I got an advanced copy of this book, and I did a happy dance when it came in the mail. So I tried really hard to savor this book and read it slowly in order to give my honest opinion. There were three stories, and I lasted three days. All three stories were fantastic! These three writers are always wonderful, but I was a little nervous about their novellas when I am so used to them having a whole novel to work with. I shouldn't have worried! I enjoyed the stories more because I have read novels in the series that they correlate to, but you could enjoy all of them on their own.
Worth the Wait - This one goes along with the Harper's Station series which I haven't finished yet, but now I really want to! This one reached through my chest wall and squeezed. It was fabulous, and sad, and sweet. Ben and Tori are both characters you can fall in love with, and I hope they have more page time in another book!
An Awakened Heart- So good!!! But one thing that confused me was the little blurb on the back. When I read the story and it seemed like the minister, Guy, was the widower and well established in the community, and Christine was a spinster who was the newcomer. But the back makes it sound like the opposite is true. So either the plot changed or the person who wrote the blurb didn't read the story (Or I really missed something). But Christine finding a purpose and a champion in Guy and the tenements of New York was inspiring, and the world building was amazing!
Toward the Sunrise - Ashton and Julia were so cute together! I have never had an urge to be a doctor, but Julia's drive makes her a woman worthy of emulation. Elizabeth Camden made delivery goats sound fun, and I didn't think that was possible!
Go pick this up as soon as it comes out!! You will be incredibly blessed! Witemeyer, Hedlund, and Camden can't write fast enough to keep me happy! Keep up the amazing work ladies!!

Sqquuueeeeaaaalllll! I'm so excited that these novellas are finally available in paperback!!!! Since I don't read ebooks I've been missing out on some of my favourite series. So, yes, you might have read these stories, but here's a chance to get them in hard copy for your Keeper Shelves...I mean, with these stellar authors, how can you resist?!

We've got spunky heroines who know how to frustrate their heroes to no end. There's lots of drama and angst sweetened with laughter and warmed with toe-curling romance. What more can you ask of your fiction?

Sometimes you don't have time to commit to an entire, lengthy novel, but still need to feed that longing to step back into time and meet some intriguing characters who will entertain and inspire you. If that describes you (as it often does me), then "All My Tomorrows" is just what you've been looking for! The novel has brought together three of the most beloved (and award winning!) authors of historical fiction tales (with romance thrown in too, of course), and together this collection is satisfying indeed! Each of the stories features strong female leads, unafraid to flout convention and what some may expect of them, and I enjoyed reading about them overcoming the difficult situations they find themselves in. I found Hedlund's "An Awakened Heart" to be particularly moving, as she brings New York's Tenements to life in great detail such that I felt like I was there sharing in the people's feelings of hopelessness. That story especially convicted me in my own walk with the Lord and challenged me about how I may or may not be living out my calling as a Christian.

Each story has something unique to offer, and the novellas have been paired together well as they are equally entertaining and will warm the heart at the same time. And as I already noted, they are just the right length, allowing me to connect with the characters, enjoy the drama unfolding on the pages, and then step back into the real world feeling like I had just what I needed to feed my soul.

Fans of Witemeyer, Hedlund, and Camden will find much to love in this collection, featuring novellas that are well-written in their trademark writing styles, with great characters and plots that will satisfy those longing for good historical romance fiction. I award this novel a solid rating of 4 out of 5 stars.

All My Tomorrows is a delightful collection of three historical Christian novellas. All have strong, likable, forward thinking women with huge hearts for others. Similar themes run throughout. The stories are all marvellous and it is impossible to choose a favourite.
Worth The Wait by Karen Witemeyer is a delightful story with themes of trust, faithfulness, new beginnings and family. God can redeem our past and our pain. "The past would not control her." God will set us free. With some good wholesome characters and amusing banter, the reader is entertained. Scars from the past need just as much healing as physical ones. A wonderful read.
An Awakened Heart by Jody Hedlund shows the mighty hand of God at work as we take care of the widows and orphans. It asks the questions, how big is your God? Do we limit God's power by dreaming too small? Faith and good works go hand in hand. It is the dawn of philanthropy that works perfectly in partnership with God. A delightful read with wonderful characters.
Towards The Sunrise by Elizabeth Camden is yet another wonderful tale with a very forward thinking heroine who pioneers her way for women in medicine. A heart for the weak and vulnerable - both animals and humans to the delight of the reader. Very much a modern woman with a huge heart and empathy for those who are hurting. The story encourages us to follow our dreams. Positively wonderful.
I received this book for free. A favourable review was not required and all views expressed are my own.

The queens of Christian historical fiction got together to collaborate on a collection of three novellas in All My Tomorrows and they do. not. disappoint. Karen Witemeyer, Elizabeth Camden and Jody Hedlund write beautifully together as they introduce well-developed characters, gorgeous settings and, of course, breathtaking romance. My favourite was probably Elizabeth Camden's "Toward the Sunrise", but the other two were equally enjoyable and I was so happy to read this book over winter break. Thank you ladies!

“Three acclaimed authors offer for the first time in print three unforgettable historical novellas that celebrate true love.” (from back cover)
Worth the Wait, by Karen Witemeyer: Five stars
I’ve read two other books by this author and loved them, so I eagerly opened the book to the first story and wasn’t disappointed. Harper’s Station, the setting for this novella, is a sanctuary community for women. Victoria Adams (Tori) fled there with her young son and has grown in confidence enough to run a general store.
Benjamin Porter proved himself reliable and protective as a freighter for the community, but he wants more. Skittish Tori has caught his eye—and maybe his heart.
When the two travel together to sell the store’s goods, Tori must face her worst nightmare head-on. The unfolding relationship of these two, one brave, the other not realizing how much courage she has, enthralled me. Tori’s son, Lewis, adds even more heart to this captivating story.
An Awakened Heart, by Jody Hedlund: Three stars
I wanted to like this novella. I’d read With You Always by the author and enjoyed it in spite of its gritty setting. An Awakened Heart seems to be a prequel to the previously read novel, and through most of the story, the flicker of romance is overwhelmed by the atmosphere of despair. While the heroine, Christine Pendleton, sparked my admiration for her spunk and compassion, her hero, Pastor Guy Bedell remained a hazy outline of a character for me. Well written but disappointing.
Toward the Sunrise, by Elizabeth Camden: Five stars
Julia Broeder is easy to admire—expelled from medical college in her final year, she ends up helping birth kids, the goat kind. But she does so with enthusiasm, compassion, and dedication. Her long-held dream of becoming a medical missionary in China seems an impossibility.
Ashton Carlyle, lawyer for the Vandermark corporation, Julia’s benefactor, is pressured to convince Julia to apologize for her action and outburst at the college. How can he, when she won’t leave the goats until all sixty have given birth. And time is running out.
This novella is great fun, with its spunky heroine and stalwart hero, and I loved watching them grow closer together through their shared trials. It easily earns five stars.
This collection of historical novellas was (mostly) a pleasure to read and is recommended. Four stars for the collection. Book has been provided courtesy of Baker Publishing Group and Graf-Martin Communications, Inc.

These 3 novellas are rich in content and worth the read! They are written by some of the top names in Christian fiction currently and each one accompanies a series written by that author.

Worth the Wait takes us for a visit to Harper's Station, a women's only colony in the West. Tori, a shop owner and single mother has reason to distrust men. Benjamin Porter has been nothing but kind over the past year, even helping the women of the colony expand their business through his freight company. Tori and Benjamin are going to visit the neighboring farms with a travelling shop in the back of one of his freight wagons and even though the idea of spending the day with the gentle giant scares her, she's determined to go through with it. This is my favourite of the the three stories!

In An Awakened Heart, Christine is a wealthy spinster who has spent years caring for her ailing mother and now that's she's gone she finds she needs a direction in life. She hears an impassioned minister speak to a women's group on his ministry in the roughest parts of New York's tenements and he issues an invitation for the ladies to attend a service. Christine begins to go and attend the services, but she also has a growing awareness that there's more they could be doing. They could be physically helping these people, not just simply preaching that their lives are immoral. Convincing the preacher of trying a new way to minister is a tall task, however.

Toward The Sunrise is a slightly unconventional story about Julie Broeder, from the Broeder family, who have served the extremely wealthy Vandermark family for nearly forever as groundskeepers at one of their extensive estates. This particular estate, however, has set nearly vacant except for a skeleton staff for 60 years. I can see why the description about this one is so short because there are so many twists packed into this little package. It's a little odd, but very sweet.

When I saw a collection of historical romance novellas by three of my favorite authors, I knew it needed to be added to my reading list! “All My Tomorrows” was published by Bethany House in the summer of 2018, and includes:
Karen Witemeyer’s “Worth the Wait” (a “Ladies of Harper Station” novella)
Jody Hedlund’s “An Awakened Heart” (a prequel to her “Orphan Train” series)
Elizabeth Camden’s “Toward the Sunrise” (joining her novel “Until the Dawn”).

I am not normally a big fan of novellas for the simple reason that they feel too short, but this collection is special because I’ve enjoyed all of the full-length stories that these novellas are connected to. It was a delight to discover the stories behind some of the secondary characters I’d already been introduced to, and also to revisit some of my favorite protagonists (who, of course, become secondary characters in these novellas!).

Each story was special in its own way, but my favorite of the three was definitely “Toward the Sunrise” because it combined winsome humor with characters I adored and could relate to. Karen Witemeyer’s “Worth the Wait” contained a little bit of material that I would rate PG-13 (if it were a movie), but I rather expected this after learning bits and pieces of Victoria’s tragic past in “No Other Will Do”. And finally, Jody Hedlund’s story is unique because it is told from the point of view of several characters, including the heroine from “With You Always” - this provides invaluable background details that shed light on the full-length novels in unexpected ways.

In the end, I highly recommend this novella collection to anyone who is a fan of Christian Historical Romance and/or novellas. And if you have read the full-length novels these short stories are connected to? Well then, “All My Tomorrows” is an absolute must-read that will shed fascinating insights into already beloved stories!

Very sweet! Sometimes I enjoy a good novella because there’s no beating around the bush, no excessive background detail, just plot and dialogue. This was the first story of a 3 story book.
I thought the author did very well creating a short story that didn’t feel very short. Obviously there wasn’t a progression of romance, as they were given hint to having a slow progression of friendliness that Mr Ben Porter patiently waited to become something more. And the story takes place around the incident that allowed them to finally open up fully. I really loved how Ben was portrayed as a stocky bulk of a man, rather than the usual trope of your average lean-built, tall, angular handsome that every other historical male interest is described as. I get so tired of women glorifying skinny men. But anyway, I thought him so sweet and kind, and his kinship with her son Lewis made him all the better. And Tori had some demons of her own, but I felt she was realistic and I felt for her situation and her reluctance to accept love from any man.

But alas, the only poor thing about novellas is, of course, how short they are. I would’ve liked to have a little more after-story with these two.

This is a book of three novellas from three different historical romance authors. I have read books from all three authors previously and wanted to read the novellas that tied into a few of the series I have read or am about to read. I enjoyed these novellas for what they are. They are a good addition to the worlds they belong to.

Three of my favorite authors novellas, yes please! Loved Ms. Witemeyer's Worth the Wait novella as part of the Harper's Station Series. An Awakened Heart by Ms. Hedlund was a great kick off to the Orphan Train series. And lastly, Ms. Camden's Toward the Sunrise was a whirlwind tale that inspired and entertained. Well done Ladies!

Worth the Wait by Karen Witemeyer
This was a sweet story but a bit more serious than I usually like. It was still good though and had its own charm. It does deal with sensitive issues but has a good message about overcoming the hardest of difficulties.

Content: Clean romance, kissing. No language. Talk of rape (no details, happened in the past). Christian elements

Novellas from 3 Christian authors. All the novellas are obviously teasers as part of 3 series, one by each author. They were surprisingly light on the inspirational side of things; all were sweet romances.

This is a collection of three novellas. I’d already read the first one, the second one was nice but left things feeling unresolved, and I enjoyed reading the third one as I’ve read another book in its series. Contains: religious references, kisses
