**Note** This book was formerly called 'Almost Everything.' The publisher gave it a new title and made it part of the Bachelor Billionaire Romances to help readers more accessibly find the other character's stories in this series.
Billionaire Montana Crew, country music superstar, thought he'd put the cheating best friend and ex-fiancé in the past. When the ex appears backstage bearing the news of his friend's death and thrusting an envelope in his hands, he's shocked and a little annoyed.
Lily Ray Gold, L.R. Gold to her associates at the law firm, doesn't want to deliver the envelope with her best friend's last wishes. Nothing could have convinced her to look the 'King of Country' in the eye again...except Jason. She'd do it and she wouldn't lie, telling Montana she was finally done with him would feel awesome!
When Montana shows up at Lily's law firm and extorts her into helping him figure out what Jason wants him to do, neither of them would have expected getting caught up doing their high school bucket list by surfing in Hawaii, riding in a hot air balloon, and climbing Devil's Tower.
They both agree to finish the list for their friend, but when Montana proposes, Lily has to make a choice--tell the truth or never have almost everything she's ever truly wanted.

A note from the author:
Thanks for visiting my Goodreads page.
I wanted to tell something meaningful about myself, but let's start with the important stuff--I love swoon-worthy heroes. The kind of heroes that are strong and would take a bullet for you, but also want to open your door and listen to you pour out your heart.
What else? I grew up moving. If you’ve read my books, you won’t be surprised by this. I have a lot of moving themes through my books centered around characters experiencing pain from someone moving.
It was hard. But, I believe there’s always a seed of good that comes out of everything hard, so I think the best thing that came from it was that I learned to love books.
And I had to learn a lot of mad skills on friend making. It gave me a love of people…good people, compassionate people. Interesting people of all kinds.
What else about me? I am a mother and wife! I have four amazing boys that are like little ninjas running around. I love them so much and I’m so grateful for my amazing husband who doesn’t get intimidated by all the billionaire men in my life.
I have a fierce love of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for Him and for the healing and forgiveness I’ve gotten to experience in my life. This is a theme in many of my books.
I love being an American. I am so proud of the men and women that support and preserve our freedom. This is another theme you will find in my books.
I am so grateful for my fans and for the support and love you all show me! Don’t stop reading!
I liked this one! Always a sucker for a good second-chance-at-love story, I grabbed this one up and dove right in. Montana and Lily were high school sweethearts, a misunderstanding tears them apart and leaves them both hurt and angry. Eight years later they're thrown together again when a death of a mutual friend brings them back together.
In the eight years they've been apart, Montana has become a Country music super star! He's very successful in his career, but not so much in his personal life. Lily has gone on to become a successful family lawyer, trying to help kids the way she was never helped. I liked Lily more as the story progressed, she was a little cold when we first meet her (justifiably so), it was nice to see her lighten as she lets go of her anger and hurt. I liked Montana as well, seeing Lily just reminds him of how much he still cares about her and how he doesn't want to just walk away...again. The two definitely have chemistry and it was believable that all those old feelings of friendship and romance would come back when they're reunited.
Overall, this was a nice read about two people who finally are able to get their second chance, hash out past misunderstandings and find love again. Would recommend to fans of His Kind of Cowgirl or The Accidental Bride.

I've very much enjoyed Taylor Hart's The Last Play series of books so it was fun to get a glimpse at a few characters from that series who make an appearance in this book. This one has a very similar feel to the books in The Last Play series so if you have read and enjoyed those you should definitely give this one a try. Even with the nod given to the characters from the other series, this stands alone so you can start here. This is a sweet romance with nothing more than kissing. Recommended to those who enjoy clean romance. Content: Clean Source: Kindle Unlimited

I'm loving this new series. (Destination Billionaire Romance) This is the third book I've read in this series and I love that each of those three books was by a different author. Fun! This book is by Taylor Hart and I always enjoy her books. She knows how to write chemistry and characters. What a fantastic second chance at first love story!
I love Taylor Hart's books. Every book I read of hers is better than the last. This was such a touching and yet fun story. I cried and laughed and when an author can accomplish that while throwing in some heart-thumping romance, I am sold. Keep writing Taylor!
Once upon a time Montana and Lily were in love, but Montana witnessed something and ran off without letting Lily explain. 8 years later their mutual friend Jason passes away and leaves Montana a note that poses some unresolved questions. The only person who can answer those questions is Lily, but she's mad at Montana and isn't going to make it easy for him to discover her secrets. But determination and hard work aren't strangers to Montana and he's determined to discover what really happened 8 years ago.
A lot emotions to work through. I didn’t like that she hit him so much, especially considering her background. I hoped she would have tried to be better than that. It was wrong of her not to contact him. She really was more full of herself than he was and he was the rich guy! Not my favorite by this author but well done. I just think I disliked the subject matter. Otherwise a fun, clean read.
Well this book was pretty depressing. With everything that happened I was happy with how it ended. There is just something about these books that sucks me in. I was happy to see people from the last play series in it.

The Country Groom: Bachelor Billionaire Romances is by Taylor Hart. It is a really good story and one that requires tissues. It is easy to read in one lengthy sitting and leaves you with a good feeling. Perfect for summer reading. Montana Crew has everything he ever wanted. He has his career and is getting ready for another concert with twenty or thirty thousand fans in attendance. His friend Tiffany Chance and her band are warming the crowd up. His friends are with him and he is feeling great. Dreams can come true and he was living it; but there is something missing. Something that he doesn’t want to share with anyone. He thinks he sees Lil’s golden-white hair. Of course, she wasn’t here. Lily Ray Good was in the audience. However, she was only on the edge and she was there only to deliver an envelope as she had promised her longtime friend, Jason, had asked her to on his death bed. She was going to give it to him and leave just like he had eight years ago. What was Jason wanting after eight years? How did he die and why wasn’t Montana notified? Can Montana and Lily just ignore their past?
Would have been 4 stars, but I had issues with the timeline and his ex wife’s name. I read the paperback of this book when the book starts are 2 main characters Montana and Lily have been apart 8 years, later in the book it’s briefly mentioned that Montana was married for five years and divorced for three years. So than I thought wait ..... what??? Were they apart 10 years??? Or did he get married with in weeks of leaving Lily. If that’s the case than Montana is a scum bag after what he and Lily shared together. Also it states his ex wife’s name is Kim than 25 to 30 pages later his ex-wife’s name is Karen. So confusing. Did he have more than 1 ex-wife?? I did enjoy Montana and Lily finding their way back to each other and mending old hurts. Taylor Harts books are always clean romances, fast paced and easy reads.
One night changed everything for them Choices we make often have very unintended consequences. That is what this second chance romance explores. Montana was a foster child bounced from place to place until he lit with Cindy, Frank, and their son Jason. Then he had a home. Jason introduced him to Lily and there he found love. But Lily and Montana’s plans were smashed when, on graduation night, Montana sees Lily and Jason kissing. Feeling betrayed, he rode his motorcycle away not looking back. Now he is a famous singer but thoughts of the girl he left still plague him eight years later. When Lily appears at one of his concerts it is not to reconnect but to tell him of Jason's death and deliver a letter Jason left for Montana. That letter begins a journey that neither expected or thought they would ever take. A wonderful, deeply touching book.
Ok, it's a billionaire romance so anyone who goes into these stories looking for realism isn't the brightest crayon in the box. Still, the author does a great job with keeping the premise somewhat believable - nothing that jars you from the story.
And it's a sweet story. There's sad stuff in it, but it doesn't bring you down & ruin your lighthearted romance seeking buzz cuz it all has a fairy tale quality to it & ends with redemption.
A clean romance with some passionate kissing and a reference to a couple who had premarital sex in the context of regret for not waiting till after marriage.
What an amazing story! I couldn't put this one down until it was done. Very creative characters and wild emotional rollercoaster ride from start to finish!!! While the basic theme is common, the characters actions and emotions are vividly expressed in a heart-to-heart manner, making me feel what both of them were feeling!!!
If you believe that your first love can be True Love and that second chances are possible, no matter how much pain and heartaches have occurred between you, then you must read this book!!!
For Lily and Montana, the past tries to destroy the future. But Jason, who is dead, who loved Lily as he wished she had loved him, reaches from the grave to put Humpty Dumpty together again. Lily's career as a high-class lawyer, Montana's as a top rated musician, are outweighed by what they had and no longer have and can rebuild. The loss will never go away. But their lives will move as they should have from the start. Recommended for all readers of romance in which money cannot solve problems.
This is a sweet romance about young love, finding your way in the world and making up for past mistakes. It was sad how they reunite, losing a friend is always hard.
I like second chance romances, but the running got old. Seemed Montana and Lily were always running away from one another. Until suddenly they weren’t and the book was over.
I would have liked an epilogue. What does happen? How do they make their life work? Does she find them? I did like the characters overall and it does have a happy ending.
4 stars I purchased a copy of the clean novel The Country Groom: Jackson Hole Bachelor Billionaires book 2 by Taylor Hart and this review was given freely. A poignant story of tragedy, abuse, and loss is combined with a second chance at love for former high school sweethearts, country-western rock star and Vegas act Montana Crew, and family law attorney Lily Ray Gold. Although learning of Cameron and Katherine’s wedding and Cameron’s debuting his song with Montana make this novel best if read in series order, this predominantly sad and unsettling story can be read as a stand-alone.
I read this book as part of the Sweet Summer Billionaire Kisses collection. Country star Montana Crew never forgot his high school best friend and sweetheart Lily Ray Gold, who is now a lawyer. Their mutual friend Jason had died and they were give a key to the memory box with their bucket list. Even though she now wants nothing to do with Montana, they complete the list in Jason’s honor. An interesting story about forgiveness.
Foster kid Montana has become King of Country, but he has never forgotten his 1st love Lily. At 18, Montana walked in on his foster brother and best friend lip liplocked with Lily. So Montana got on his motorcycle and left, not looking back. Little did he know all that he walked away from. Now facing the dying wishes of that same best friend Montana is forced to face old regrets and what all he once rode away from.
I love this Groom Series by Taylor Hart, it’s best to read them in order, this is actually the first book. This book gripped me from the first pages, I loved the story. I felt that Montana was so raw and real, Lilly was wary, sweet and uncertain. She was scared that Montana would learn her secret.
This is one of several books in the series. This story was about reconnecting with the one he left behind. He had felt betrayed when he witnessed she kissed his best friend. He never returned or heard from either of them in over right years. Now he must confront the past. Can either forgive?
This was a wonderful story of finding second chances with your first love. Montana always felt unloved until he met Lily in the town of his last foster home. Jason was his foster brother but also liked her. He has passed on but has brought them back together after years apart.
Rating 3.5. I had a deja vu feeling as I read this book and I think I must have read this before but forgotten to record it on Goodreads. I am trying to finish up all of the books I plan to read in this series. This was a good story, even the second time around.🤔
If you had a second chance with your high school love would you take it? The story looks at the good, the bad, and the scary of that second chance. I think she should have been more upset with the whole PI thing. But overall a good story that I enjoyed.
I have mixed feelings about this book. Sometimes the plot sucked me in and the characters were believable and likeable, and other times the character's responses became a little annoying. Overall, I enjoyed the book and thought it had a unique storyline.
I don't know whether to cry or just wear a bit grin. All I can think of is 'when life gives you lemons make lemonade '. The story is heart wrenching but those strong characters just pull it off.
Love, love, love!! ❤ Wow, and I do mean wow! This novel was excellent and thorough without becoming explicit! I love romantic novels and this one had a wonderful storyline to keep me entertained! Fabulous!
A beautiful story of Friendship, Love and regrets. Taylor has written a wonderful story filled with strong and believable characters. Couldn't put this book down. Filled with so many emotional moments. A must read.
