The Bunny is Coming is book four in The Holidays series by Tara Sivec. This is yet another zany, crazy, over the top visit with The Holiday family at Easter time. I have so loved this series from the very first book. I expect nothing but hilarity from this family and this book did not disappoint.

It’s Easter and as they do for every holiday, Reggie and Bev Holiday celebrate to the maximum, including their decorations. But this year Bev has added a member to the household, a four legged member named Bacon. Bacon is a little baby pig and Reggie is determined that Bacon will be bacon for Easter dinner on Sunday.

Sam and Noel have been married for a year now and are more in love than ever. But as all married couples experience, life is crazy busy so they haven’t found much time for, well, you know! Plus, Noel hasn’t been feeling well. She has some sort of a bug that she just can’t shake.

Of course, Aunt Bobbie is up to her usual crazy antics! Is it just me or does she seem even more over the top in this one?!

As always, this short book gave us plenty to make us laugh but also, some very sweet moments between Sam and Noel. It always gets to me that no matter how crazy the family antics, Sam never fails to appreciate them all for what they give him, family. He revels in each and every holiday and the traditions associated with it.

lawn blow up easter bunny

It looks like the next book might be Halloween and a certain wedding in the works. I can only imagine what Tara Sivec has in store for us next.

4 I FLove This Holiday Loving Family!!! Stars

 photo 4bunnies_zpsa25tyvzh.gif

Warning: You MUST read this series in order, then it might make sense no sense but you will have an understanding of this wacky family and if you're like me you will fall for them.

Reasons I loved this:

* Blow up bunnies in drag.

* Bacon, everyone loves bacon ;)

*Aunt Bobbie's stories, who am I kidding I love everything aunt Bobbie.

* Noel's whole family and her relationship with Sam.

* The crass and dirty humour that had me laughing so hard I felt like an idiot.

I get that this humour is not for everyone and is WAY OTT, I love it in small doses when it's written well. So this one hit the spot perfectly and I am really looking forward to Halloween after the good news that came in this one ;)

I heart the Hollidays!

I happened upon the first book in this series back when it was a suggestion on my kindle carousel. I had no idea how much I would come to love this zany, madcap family, but I just can't seem to get enough. It's OTT and one antic after the other but I adore it.

Lots of funny times with absolutely no cheating or ow/om drama. Hilarious secondary characters who I like just as much as the main characters. If your looking for a short, light hearted escape, snatch this up. I do however recommend starting with book 1.

These books are so freaking hilarious. I find myself getting in trouble for laughing out loud. Sam is really an awesome hero though. I just love him and how he loves Noel in spite of her family lol. But he loves her family too. I'm looking forward to Halloween!

Genre: Romantic Comedy (Short)

The Bunny is coming. The Bunny is coming! Sure, he may be dressed up in drag... But so what? We have to be a little bit more sensitive to those who choose different lifestyles. Am I right? Or am I right?

LMAO. The freakin book (and the entire series) is hilarious! I giggle snorted so much when reading this one that I freaked out my dogs. I don't know where Tara Sivec comes up with these shenanigans, but they are over the top and laugh out loud funny. Ahhh. What a fantastic series.

In this one you can expect:
- Bunnies dressed in drag (so what if they wear wigs. And makeup. Some fake eye lashes. Lipstick. There's nothing wrong with a bunny cross dresser!
- How NOT to use peeps during intercourse (I may have thrown up in my mouth a little)
- A pregnancy announcement! Wohoo!! I won't say who in case you haven't read the series.
- A pig named Bacon who may be a cannibal...
- And a LOT of fun times!

If you love romantic comedies, I strongly suggest picking up this series. These books are short (novella length) and hilarious!

5 Drag Queen Bunny Stars

What an amazing laugh your ass off novella series! I had so much fun this week reading these books. Sam and Noel have serious communication issues in each book and they can't seem to learn from their mistakes but honestly who cares because it creates a setup for over the top dramatic comedy that I just can't get enough of. Tara Sivec is a comedic genius! The jokes may be a bit crude but I absolutely loved it. Who doesn't love jokes that inlcude "Peep sugar shmegma! Seriously if you have not read this series you are missing out!

The Holidays are crazy and hilarious! You envy their love of each other all while thanking fate your family isn’t as crazy as they are. I'll happily read about this family any time the author feels like writing a story about them.

"I always tell myself that things couldn't get any worse with Noel's family, then I find myself sitting in the front yard wearing a wig while my father-in-law brushes my hair"

As always Holliday family made me pee myself a little (I mean Tara Sivec did, but she created all these amazing and funny and crazy people). This was such a adorable and hilarious short story, with all the crazy members of Holiday family in Easter spirit! :)

The Bunny Is Coming by Tara Sivec is the latest novella in her Holiday Series. We join Sam and Noel for their second Easter together. Will they have a traditional holiday for a change? You know that can’t happen with Reggie and Bev for in-laws and Aunt Bobbie living at their house because the in-laws need a break for a while.

Reggie Noel’s dad is putting up his out-of-this-world holiday decorations that scare the neighborhood kids. In Reggie’s defense, he is trying to make a statement with the holiday décor.

Bev Noel’s mom has a new pet pig that disrupts family gatherings and causes conflict with her husband who thinks “Bacon” isn’t just his name but their goal to turn the pig into dinner.

Noel tries to give Sam a loving Easter egg hunt that turns into a disaster thanks to her drunk friends, Scheva and Alex.

I love Sam and Noel. They are an average couple with a crazy family. The support characters are a hoot. They all add so much to the story and show how a couple can have crazy family who loves each other completely.

Once again, Tara gives us a lot of meat in a novella. I don’t know how she can pack so much into so few pages and it all works. There are character and relationship development with a story that is sweet and laugh out loud funny. Her ability to turn annual holidays into comedies that touch the readers’ hearts is a real gift. I love it because even though this family is so “out there” many of us can relate. Maybe our families don’t take holidays to the same extremes, but we can relate to family holiday issues.

I highly recommend The Bunny Is Coming and the entire holiday series. It is a light-hearted commentary on relationships and the many faces of love. Have a box of tissues close because you will laugh so hard you will cry. This book is a happy story that you won’t forget. Thank you, Tara Sivec. I pray that you will continue Sam and Noel’s story for a few more holidays.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! Everyone's favorite bat shit crazy ass family is back with their version of what could possibly go wrong on Easter!!!!!!!!!!!
Poor Sam and Noel are so jinxed you'dthink what else could possibly happen to these 2? What other crazy ass assinine things could Aunt Bobbie or even Beverly and Reggie do??? I swear lightning might strike me just for reading about the church festivities, a squeling Bacon (don't ask), those insane Easter eggs, those poor bunnies on the front lawn and there's so much more. There's fucked up and then there's the Holidays!!!!!!!!!!

Getting a chance to see what becomes of this couple after the crazy wedding was a precious treat. I can't say I was surprised to see where these two end up and better yet how strong of a family bond they forge. Getting a little taste of Aunt Bobbie at the end was such an unexpected bonus. Hate to see these characters go, but one can hold out that they might unite with The Seduction and Sweets gang for a big vacation!!

Once again, the Holiday/Stocking family and their wacky antics continue to bring me joy.

Reading this makes me wonder how crazy this would be as a sitcom or a Netflix series. Maybe putting it out there in the universe will make it happen.

Funny but OTT crazy and unbelievable with the situations . It's nice but only when it's a short novella. After a while it can just destroy the story even if you need a good laugh.
