I really enjoyed this romance. I just discovered Linda Broday a few months ago when I read Knight on the Texas Plains and knew I wanted read more of her writing so I jumped on the chance to read this book. This is the third book in the Men of Legend series and I was a bit concerned going in since I have not read the earlier books. I had nothing to worry about and can assure readers that this book works well as a stand alone. I am so ...more

There is one guarantee, with a Linda Broday book, you're going to experience a true heartwarming-Broday story with so much action that it's impossible to put down. With her books you are always in for the ride of your life.

For some reason I both liked it, and had a hard time focusing at what I read. SO to be honest, did I think it was good or ok? I have no idea. But I fear I will have to go with just ok then. Might have been the book, might have been me.
Luke is wanted and is trying to find the man framing him.
Josie has no memory of who she is but she is wanted for murder....
I am unsure about some details, gosh, I really did not keep my focus on the book, or maybe it was not explained....

To Marry A Texas Outlaw is a beautiful well written story from a new favorite author of mine. Historical westerns are a bit of a forgotten art, and I love that Linda Broday has brightened up this sub genre in romance and the way she writes these cowboys and ranchers and bad boys of sorts are sexy as all get out. Now I will say that I do wish I had started with book one and I have no idea why I didn't. *banging head against the wall*.

Broday has me hooked. I'm enjoying this family. Their honor, their strength, even their stubbornness. These men are something else. That's for sure.
The Gist: Luke's an outlaw trying to go straight but before he can accept being part of his newfound family he's got it in his head he needs to right all his past wrongs and, well, clear his name for a murder he didn't commit. And in the process of driving his family c ...more

WoW just WoW!!!! Every time I read a Linda Broday book I think it's the best she has ever written but then I read another book by her such is the case with to Marry a Texas a Outlaw and I say once again this is the best book she has ever written. This book is amazingly written and entails a wonderful, delightful, intriguing, uniquely, beautiful love story with a wonderful gritty Western thrown in. To Marry a Texas Outlaw has all my favorite things in this one book. Linda Broday has definitely br

After adoring Heart of a Texas Cowboy and getting introduced to the three Legend brothers and their world, I absolutely had to have the final brother's story. Luke needed justice and a good woman. And ah, yes, Ms. Broday provided his perfect match and quite the adventure for the pair of them.
To Marry a Texas Outlaw is the third of the Men of Legend series. It builds on what came before with Sam and Houston's stories, but I think it would work alright as a standalone if necessary.

Another wonderful read by Linda Broday. I was blessed to be sent a preview copy of this fabulous book, the third in the series, "The Men Of Legend" and who can resist the bad boy?
"The Outlaw", Luke Weston, may be the fastest draw in Texas but he also has a huge heart. True he's shot and killed many men but he has also helped many people. He only sees himself as a ruthless outlaw with not much of a future and thinks it's just a matter of time for someone else to get the draw on him. He pushes eve ...more

The atmosphere is somber. Both Luke and Josie are under a death sentence whether guilty or not. Luke finds Josie near death. He needs to ride on but conscience won’t let him leave her. Luke is a Legend and he will live up to the name even though he continues to reject it for himself.
Thus, the start of the third book in the Legend Series by Linda Broday. I have loved the other two books, but this one has to be the best of the series. How does a woman fall in love with and then show a Texas Outlaw ...more

I was honored to receive an advance copy of this book. And if I could give it more than five stars I would do so.
Be prepared to have every emotion you have ever felt in your life be stirred up. I laughed, cried, worried, loved, and cried some more reading this book.
You have Luke who is doing his best to clear his name, the whole time with every lawman, outlaw, and bounty hunter after him. Add in Rose ie Josie. Memory loss, unsure of her place, but determine not to miss a thing.

To Marry a Texas Outlaw is the third book in the Men of Legend series and is set in Texas during the year 1879. Outlaw Luke Weston had been running from the law for years and was finally one step closer to finding the varmint who framed him for a murder that he had never committed. That was over two years ago and Luke had been on a mission ever since, he was going to clear his name before he accepted his true identity of Luke Legend. Luke did not want to bring all of his problems to his father’s

Whew! What a story! Good thing Linda Broday didn't struggle to find words for her story the same way I'm attempting to find words to express just how much I love not only this book, but this entire series as a whole. To Marry a Texas Outlaw is a thrilling conclusion to a delightful and much-loved story of the Legend family that delivered so many emotions.

This book has taken me a while to read. But it has not disappeared me at all. Linda Broday has captured my attention again. Luke Weston has got to be my all time favorite character in this series.
Luke has had his ups and downs in his life but he has always stuck by his morals. He was always into something whether it was right or wrong. In the long run he came out on top.

I’ve often heard it said that you can’t judge a book by its cover. Sometimes, that’s true … sometimes, not. When the gorgeous cover of To Marry a Texas Outlaw by Linda Broday popped up in my email for review sign-ups, I was immediately enamored. And like Katniss Everdeen, I raised my hand shouted, “I volunteer!” After all, who can resist a ruggedly handsome Texas outlaw framed by the fiery sky of a setting sun? Me, that’s who!

I have loved all of the Legend men, but Luke stole my heart from the very first book in the series and I couldn't wait to get his whole story. My heart broke for him as he struggled to clear his name and claim his rightful place beside his powerful and wealthy father, Stoker Legend and brothers, Sam and Houston. Determination, grit and pure will pushed him forward. Imagine his frustration when he is finally closing in on the man who framed him for the murder of a judge and he is forced to stop a

The Legend brothers Sam, Houston, and Luke, will each take your heart away. This family has endured it all. The story focuses on Luke. The ride is a rough one, but worth every minute. Get your tissues ready. You will need them. As this series comes to a close, you will feel many emotions. Luke Weston wants to proudly have the Legend name. Does he get his life's dream and find love? I won't tell.

A very well-written western historical romance. This is the story of an outlaw with a conscience and a tough-as-nails, sweet girl with amnesia. Sound interesting? Add in an orphaned boy with a dog, a settlement of unwanted women and an estranged father and you have quite a story. Set in the wild and wooly early days of Texas this story's foundation is family love. A very satisfying read that brought me to tears at the end.

Blodeuedd and I jointed reviewed this book. Here is the link: http://www.caroleraesrandomramblings....
This was certainly entertaining. I enjoyed the story and action. I also really loved the side characters like the beer-drinking horse! What a hoot! I was bummed that Luke, the main male character, was not a true outlaw. He was framed for a murder he didn't commit. I was hoping for a true outlaw who killed without a care in the world. However, I did like him. I liked Josie too, but I didn't feel ...more

I have waited a long time to be able to read Luke’s story and what an exciting story it is. If you have read the other men of legends than you know Luke is kind of the black sheep of the family. He was born on the other side of the blanket because his mother was taken away from his father and his father married another. Growing up thinking his father never wanted his mother or him only to find out his father never knew of him. There is a lot of background that is in the first two books. This is

After enjoying my first Broday novel earlier this year, I knew I wanted to read another of hers and was thrilled when I got approved for an advanced copy of this book.
Most of the historical romance fiction I've read is set somewhere in the UK with debutantes and rakes, so I love that Broday sets hers in Texas where things are a bit more western and uncivilized. Luke and Josie are both likeable characters and I loved that Josie didn't fit the mold of a typical demure girl of that time. She spoke ...more

Families are complicated with many different personalities that sometimes make relationships difficult to maintain, but sometimes with hard work and love a family can overcome most obstacles. Linda Broday has created just such a family in her Men of Legend series, and in her latest novel “To Marry a Texas Outlaw,” she explores how deep a family’s love can go. Luke Weston is the wayward son of Stoker who is an outlaw that is trying to figure out who set him up to take the fall for a murder he did

It’s no secret that Linda Broday is an amazing writer. Time and time again she produces one amazing story after another. Well, in To Marry a Texas Outlaw she really outdid herself. She went beyond amazing. She was remarkable, incredible, extraordinary!

I have come to love these rough and rugged outlaws, even tho i wasn't too keen on the first book. This book, really had my puzzled. Who was after him, why did he have to clear his name, when did he realize he could be accepted by his family and happy. that is what i was thinking as i continued to read each chapter. It had twist and turns in the book that made me scratch my head thinking what did I miss. Im happy it ended on a happy note, but it also had me wanting to know what next is going to h

MY THOUGHTS: Luke Weston, wanted, outlaw and being hunted. Josie Morgan has lost her memory. The two are thrown together due to circumstances. Luke finds her, memory lost and blood all over her. What happened? Luke is trying to clear his name, his real name that he desperately tried to keep from everyone knowing. He's a legend, in more ways than one. Now Josie is with him. Is she an outlaw too? Or are they both just two people trying to find family and themselves? Luke is part of a legend family.

To Marry a Texas Outlaw by Linda Broday is the 3rd book in her Men of Legend series. This book reads very well as a standalone, though it is best to read the earlier books to learn more about this wonderful family and the Legend men. When I read my first book (Texas Plains) by Broday, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed that book, since I usually do not read westerns. Now having loved To Marry a Texas Outlaw, I will be reading anything by Linda Broday, as she writes beautiful heartwarming stor

I'm a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of historical western romance. I live in the Texas Panhandle on land they call the Llano Estacado where the Native Americans and Comancheros once roamed and I can often hear their voices whispering in the wind. History is thick here with the ghosts of the people who settled this land. I love writing western historical romance and can't imagine
