USA Today bestselling author Cari Quinn grew up wanting to be a singer more than anything else. When she realized she probably wouldn’t be hired as the opening act for the Foo Fighters, she stopped singing and started writing. Now she happily writes about rock stars, MMA fighters, suited heroes, bodyguards and everything in between. And she blasts her music as loud as the neighbors can stand, because hey, she’ll always be a rock star in her own head.

She's also half of the duo Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott, as well as one half of the USA Today bestselling author Taryn Quinn, who writes steamy small town romantic comedies (among other things.)

I LOVE catching up with beloved characters, especially with a rocking Christmas backdrop highlighting sweet and sexy shenanigans Oblivion-style.
Simon rocking it out on Christmas Eve

With the birth of their twins, Nick and Lila Crandall haven’t had a lot of alone time together. Lila wants to be the best wife, mother and manager single handedly and Nick is happy to help out his exhausted wife any way he can, even if it means leaving sexy time for another time. But Lila’s had enough of putting their time together on hold and she’s arranged to give Nick a Christmas surprise he won’t soon forget.

And while Nick and Lila figure out how to balance amazing rock concerts and an even better family and love life, Harper McCoy isn’t afraid of some sensual persuasion in order to convince her hot and famous rock star that it’s time to add their family.

I love that Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott have made it a tradition to give the Lost in Oblivion fans more of their favorite characters during Christmas, but you really don’t have to be in the Christmas spirit to read this novella. I fell in love with each and every one of the Oblivion band members and their partners through the series with alluring plots and rich descriptions that I’ll gladly read everything about this series any time of the year.

Although this novella revolves around only two of the Oblivion band members, they’re all present lovingly riving each other and helping out. This novella has two separate stories, the first centers on Nick Crandall, one Oblivion’s guitarists and his wife and the band’s manager Lila. The second revolves around Deacon the gentle giant, Oblivion’s bassist and his wife and the band’s chef Harper.

I won’t delve into more details than the ones given in my short summary. I will comment that these stories though short packs a great rock punch, giving vibrant descriptions of the band at one of their finest concert moments, showing off their talents and proving just how much they love each other and their music that has made them such huge success even after all their struggles.

I love having these kinds of vivid scenes that take me to my own rock chick concert experiences. And then there’s all the sweet sexy loving between the hot rock stars and their wives that burn up the pages. This novella gave me everything I’ve come to love about Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot’s books that include smiles, laughs, swoony rock star goodness.

Merry Oblivion is a Christmas extra in the Lost in Oblivion series by the dynamic Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott duo. It is a rocker contemporary romance. If you’re a Lost in Oblivion fan get it now, otherwise I strongly recommend you read after the rest of the series in order. This book is told from various points of view and has a happy ending.

"It's the most wonderful time of the year..."

That marvelous time of year when Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott give the gift of Oblivion. Merry Oblivion is a peek into the lives of our favorite band members and their growing families. It's featured around Nick & Lila and Deacon & Harper, but all the gang's gathered round, including many beloved family members.

For fans of the Lost in Oblivion series, the authors couldn't have created a better Christmas gift. This novella is perfect in every way. It shows the band at their finest, their happiest, enjoying their life and professional successes after the struggles they overcame in the previous ten novels.

It's laugh out loud, cry happy tears, tingle all over perfection. I did all that-repeatedly-throughout, and absolutely loved every second.

REVIEW: MERRY OBLIVION is a two part contemporary, adult, erotic novella in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s LOST IN OBLIVION rock romance series focusing on the members of the rock band Oblivion. MERRY OBLIVION reconnects with Nick and Lila, and Deacon and Harper.

The holidays bring the band together for a Christmas Eve concert but for two couples the relationship’s struggle with finding time between raising children, and the obligations of work. MERRY OBLIVION is an intoxicating, humorous and fun installment with lighthearted but sexy banter; palpable energy; and stimulating text and imagery.

The creative and artistic team of Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott write a passionate series of tender moments and wicked desires. The authors bring together the members of Warning Sign (Found in Oblivion) for some cross-over fun, and a look at the camaraderie during the holidays season.

MERRY OBLIVION is a heartwarming look at two couples we have grown to love and adore.

Who doesn't love it when the author(s) bring back characters, in a completed series, that you just loved? I know I do. The Oblivion characters stamped themselves into my heart the moment I met them in Seduced and my love for them grew as they each found the loves of their lives. Now they're building families of their own and Christmas is a great time to catch up with them to see how they're doing.

Merry Oblivion gives us an update on Nick & Lila as well as Harper & Deacon. Both couples are still settling into their roles as parents while maintaining their busy lives of recording music and touring in their respective roles, so seeing them hit small hurdles that any real life couple is such as being so busy that you're trying bring the spark back.

All of this is done with the same humor and passion that I loved from these characters and I look forward to more snippets of their lives down the road. I'll never get enough of this crew.

Okay.

This is just like a FYI addition on the lives of these couples. Just letting us know how the wives are trying to retain the sexual attention of their rock star husbands. That being said, it should be free.

This was THE perfect epilogue to the author team's oblivion series! Thank you so much, you two! Now I can sleep peacefully again, since Simon defeated his "The Becoming" demon, and what a wonderful musical family reunion on stage when oblivion and warning sign team up for encores. What a wonderful Christmas present for us readers / oblivionites!

Any Lost in Oblivion story is an immediate one-click for me so imagine my surprise when I heard about this new gem! And boy is it perfection! Nick and Lila, Deacon and Harper---sexiness abounds in this doubly delicious book. Broken into two separate stories, we get to catch up with our favorite couples as they handle life after babies. It's not all roses and sunshine as they juggle parenthood, work and their personal lives. Merry Oblivion is seriously steamy and exactly what fans expect from these two authors. It's always a treat catching up with my favorite rockstars and Merry Oblivion gave me exactly what I was craving. I can't wait for more LIO extras from two of my favorite authors!

Nick & Lila are married with a set of twins and this has changed their relationship but not their love for one another. Lila is the most insecure one and she plans to rock his world with her secret plans. Nick is very in tune & knows something is up with his wife and he's determined to find out what. This couple takes the time to fix or rekindle, remember their relationship in the midst of their busyness.

Harper & Deacon are married and both want another child. Since I haven't read their story I felt like something was missing here but they did a great job of "practicing" for baby making, that's for sure, lol.

Just when I was missing my favorite rock stars, our esteemed duo decided to gift us with this peek at what Oblivion's been up to - and I couldn't be happier about it! I don't want to get too much into the plot other than to say that this little novella packs a punch! After everything that the band has been through, it was AMAZING to see them having more fun on stage than they ever have before. As for everything else going on, I'll just leave it up to you to find out what's in it. I promise, you won't be disappointed!
