Normally, I can’t read several volumes of the same manga series without taking a (long) break because no matter how interesting it is, I always lose concentration due to my ADHD. For some reason, that didn’t happen while reading Shinrei Tantei Yakumo (Psychic Detective Yakumo), not even once, and I binge-read it till the end. I didn’t really like the first volume but the other volumes were so good! I really loved this manga series.

I finished the last volume of this manga and now I'm so sad that it's over😭😭❤❤
This series is a solid 4 star series for me! I really really liked reading it and the themes that were involved with each case are so important! I loved how it is discussed here!

And the tiny romantic sprinkles between Yakumo and Haruka had me screaming🥹🫶🏻 I need a fanfiction about their romance bc here we are getting starved, lol. The reason why the series is 4 stars and not 5 is bc Haruka is too passive for my liking (+her character is too shallow and not fleshed out well. Kind of a typical female anime character. I guess it's bc of the Japanese culture/the patriarchal influence in Japanese culture, but that's for another discussion) and bc we didn't get an epilogue🥲

Versi manga-nya Suzuka Oda berakhir di sini. Cukup pas dan layak sih endingnya. Twist besar si lelaki mata merah sudah terkuak, perubahan besar terjadi di dunia Yakumo dan Nao, dan pak Gotou dapet chara dev yang lumayan. Isshi dan Makoto juga. Proper endinglah pokoknya.

Jadi nungguin ending versi novel yang lagi seru2nya.

Ending yang cukup bagus tapi masih menyisakan keganjilan. Si hantu 'itu' mungkin saja kembali karna masih mengincar Yakumo.
Untuk keseluruhan series 3.7/5. Aku lebih menikmati perkembangan Gotou dan Ishii, karena Yakumo terlalu OP
