Yurine never expected to start her second year at Seiran Academy being strong-armed into joining the gardening club, but its last two members--Yukina Ooshiro and Towako Mita, the club president and vice president--are desperate to leave their legacy intact after they graduate. Will Yurine blossom under their tutelage, or will the gardening club wither and die...?
This was the first relationship in this manga that I didn't like. Yukina and Towako are the only people in the gardening club until Kurosawa is "forced" to attend. Towako tries to do everything to end the club sneakily, claiming she doesn't want the club to fall into the hands of others when they graduate. Even Yukina fighting intensely and saying how she wants to see the club grow, Towako continues to sabotage her. I really didn't like their relationship. Very toxic.
Members of the Garden Club are trying to recruit one more member in order to stay a club, but no one wants to join. Eventually Kurosawa is forced to join, but when things start to happen such as posters being torn down, the President believes its the Student Council but it could be someone closer to her than she thinks.
I wasn't sure about this couple. It just felt forced and toxic. The President wants to continue the Garden Club for future students but her best friends wants something that will last forever. I didn't understand her reasoning or why she was forgiven so quickly.
I mainly just wanted more of Kurosawa and Shiramine.
I started this volume in December 2019 and finally finished it this morning.
This was the weakest so far only because I wasn't as invested in Yukina's and Towako's relationship, but it wasn't objectively bad or any worse than the previous two. I feel like that's going to be the running issue with this series, where if you like the couple than the volume's gonna be good but if you don't it'll suffer through no fault of its own.
That being said, Yukina straight up SLAPPED Towako in the face and I FUCKING LOVED IT. Not that Towako's a terrible person, but she did something terrible and was suitably punished. Thank you, Canno, for actually punishing your characters when they do something wrong rather than dismissing it.
Not much else to say, I'm still looking forward to the rest of the series and am really enjoying this!
An adorable continuation of the series, as the girls face complications and difficulties that make the various couples question what they mean to each other, and what it means to be together. Cute art, endearing characters, and the sincerity of everyone's feelings make this a series I'm glad to be following.
3 stars. I was going to drop this series but I felt bad because I usually give a series at least to the fourth volume but still I’m just not feeling this one yet. And then the couple in this one were awful for one another and there’s even some hitting and I was not here for that at all. This series is just so bizarre in how much I just don’t care about it one way or another.
I didn't like Towako and Yukina relationship, it was very much toxic
I was going to give it a 1 star but the side stories even though i still don't know who is who except Kurosawa and Shiramine, the side stories were very cute
Talk about burning down the house while still inside. I didn't connect to this story, if anything I got kind of mad about it. Teenagers are crazy apparently.
