An alpha's greatest challenge lies within.

Half-shifter Fen Young enjoys the perfect life --- an adoring mate, a supportive pack, and acres of wildland to roam across. But can she keep it?

Her reality shatters when Fen's inner beast rebels and threatens werewolves and humans alike. A sheep is killed, a child is terrified, and a serial killer stalks unnoticed through the night.

Throw in a slew of unruly alphas and the new leader is faced with her greatest challenge yet. Will a counsel of her peers decide that Fen has what it takes or will she lose it all as she puts her status as alpha on the line?

The Alpha Underground trilogy begins with Half Wolf, continues with Lone Wolf Dawn, and concludes with Wolf Landing.

Amazing end to a wonderful series…

Wolf Landing is the third and final book in the Alpha Underground series and I am sad to see this exciting, action-packed series come to an end. The stories have all been imaginative and immensely entertaining and the endearing characters shall be sorely missed. In this fast-paced adventure, Fen, the main character, is plagued with more problems than ever as she tries to get her position as a legitimate alpha pack leader affirmed at the All-Pack meeting (think “high council of wolf shifters”). She and her mate, Hunter, are trying to provide an acknowledged territory in which their small group of rebels, outcasts, and misfits can all safely live in peace. Sadly, nothing is ever easy for Fen or Hunter. Their story makes for some truly enjoyable escapist reading. If a little vacation from reality seems enticing to you, do yourself a favor and read/listen to Wolf Landing. For that matter, be indulgent, get in on all 3 amazing adventures. I look forward to what Ms. Easterling offers her readers next.

Angel Clark has served as the narrator for all three books in this trilogy. I don’t always agree with the pace of her reading (in some places it seems a bit slow to me) and I feel that she overemphasizes a lot of words (especially the words “I”, “me”, “my”…) but, overall, she does offer an enjoyable performance in each installment.

While I did purchase this book, the author provided me with a free audiobook copy and I am voluntarily offering this honest review.

If you find this review helpful, I thank you for so indicating.

Aimee Easterling reliably delivers fun shifter stories that balance character development with exciting plots. However, in this fast-paced conclusion to the Alpha Underground series, the emphasis is definitely on the action. This book will be more enjoyable if you already know the characters from reading the previous books in the series (Half Wolf and Lone Wolf Dawn, as well as Dark Wolf Adrift).

And, oh, how I love these characters! Ms. Easterling has a knack for creating interesting, likeable characters who are smart and funny and make mistakes and learn and grow, and it's been a pleasure getting to know them and watching their development over the course of the series.

The book is well-written with minimal editing problems and no formatting problems that I noticed. The only reason this book was a 4-star read for me rather than 5 stars is because it moved a bit too quickly for my taste. We experience this story from Fen's perspective, and there were times when I really wanted to know more about what some of the other characters were experiencing.

Still, it was generally a satisfying conclusion to a series I enjoyed a lot, and I would recommend the entire series to anyone who enjoys shifter stories.

I volunteered to review an advanced reader copy of this book.

This is the last book in the Alpha Underground, and I sure will miss it. Fen has come a long way in this book, and she has found a place for all the bloodlings, but now she is waiting on the All-Pack meeting to see if her bid to become alpha of a true pack will come to fruition. Not helping are her town and neighbors who believe one of her "dogs" is wreaking havoc in the community, including killing livestock and harassing a child. Also back is Stormwinder who still isn't happy about Hunter quitting his job as enforcer. In the middle of all of this, will Fen finally get what she wants: a home and peace with her family? Seeing all parts of Fen's family really was great in this book. This helped bring a great ending to a great series with them helping Fen in any way she needed. Also, Lupe really came into her own in this book. Maybe she'll eventually get her own book? Ms. Easterling's writing and characterization really shone in this book and I'll miss the great story line, great people, and wonderful writing. However, I'm sure the author has something in the works so I won't be too sad. Do yourself a favor and pick up this book and this series. Highly recommend!

Thanks to the author for the e-book which I read voluntarily. This exact review will be posted on both Amazon and Goodreads.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

There isn't much time before the next All-Pack, where Fen will find out if she and her friends have been voted in and granted pack status and she will become Alpha (again). But of course nothing ever goes easily for these guys. We see the return of an old enemy and new ones. Fen has to prove to herself and everyone else that she is the Alpha her pack deserves.

This book is packed full of non-stop action! "Just one more page" turned into several chapters and before I knew it, it was over. There are so many twists and turns you can never guess what will happen next. Wolf Landing is the third and final book in the Alpha Underground series. I will miss Fen and Hunter and the other shifters. I'm glad we got see Wolfie for a bit as well and I hope we get some more stories in the future. Maybe even about some of the other pack members :)

This one is all about Fen and her mate, Hunter, dealing with trying to be alpha of her hodgepodge group. Fen needs to prove she is capable of being an Alpha or they won’t be recognized as a legitimate pack. There’s lots of pack politics going on; kind of boring, but there is a bit of action too that keeps the story interesting. Also, where the pack calls home, is being threatened by the town authorities because there seems to be something causing issues in the town that points to wild animals. Things aren’t looking great for Fen; especially since she’s experiencing black outs. I like that Fen stands up for herself and her pack, but I was hoping she would know to being more honest with her mate. Overall, this has been an unique shifter series and has been entertaining. I like a bit more romance and action in this book, but still a fun series.

Wolf Landing is Aimee Easterling's final installment in her amazing, action-packed Alpha Underground Trilogy. Fen and Hunter are trying to hash out their own place in the world, where Fen's pack can run free and feel safe. Unfortunately everyone from the townspeople to the All-Pack seem stacked against her.

This story is fast-paced and well written, filled with mischief and mayhem, danger, manipulation, intimidation, intrigue and even murder. The characters are those we've all grown to love with a few new ones added into the mix. This book has truly been a pleasure to read, and a wonderful finale for the Alpha Underground Trilogy!

Audiobook: I was entertained by this exciting conclusion to the "Alpha Underground" series. Fen, Hunter, and Fen's mother decided to purchase an old farm with lots of acres in order to provide a home for their family. Fen's status as alpha was challenged when trouble came to their door. The story was convoluted. Fen continued to grow as a character. I liked the continual development in Fen's interactions with the other characters. Angel Clark's narration was entertaining, and her performance kept my attention. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review which included my opinions.

I enjoyed the conclusion to Fen’s quest. The story is fast paced and filled with action. I liked all the twists and surprises.
Fen has grown so much since the start of her journey. She overcame many obstacles and oppositions, mated, re-established ties with an estranged parent, acquired a pack and found a home. Through it all though Fen has fought a constant battle within herself. Now, finally Fen has found her inner peace and discovered how truly strong she is. At last becoming the Alpha she was meant to be.(4.5⭐️)

Fen is fighting with so many obstacles in the book. From an Uber Alpha who is trying toforce her to commit inhumane tasks, a serial killer, an unruly teenager trying to sort through her feelings and emotions and trying to fit in but not sure how, being recoginzed as an official pack by regional leaders to name a few.
It seemed as though her and Hunter had the deck stack against them in more ways than one. But through strife and hard work Fen and her pack managed to pull through and finally Fen realized the truth about herself that Wolfie already knew.

If you love reading fast action and and utter loyalty and shifting then you have found the book that you NEED to read. I have loved the first two of these stories but this one is a page turner for sure. To watch the pack finally form the bonds that are needed to survive and the alpha wolfs to control the pack as they must was amazing. Aimee this has been such a awesome series to read. Thank you for writing it. I can't wait to see what is next for you!!

I volunteer to read this!

Another awesome series by Aimee Easterling. I feel to fully appreciate the story of Fen (the main character) you definitely need to read the full trilogy, or you might be left wondering why you bothered starting to read them. This story of Fen Young starts out like she is a whining child, but as the series progresses you get to understand her journey of self discovery and maturity. Well worth the read in my opinion.

In here things are starting to change for Finn. There are some sheep killing on pack land and the council sent a wolf to help keep them in check. Hunter and Finn are strong together although other pack member are creating bonds as well. This is a nice third and final book in the series. A lot of things come to a breaking point. I did listen to this on audio. Angel Clark did a great job with this one as well.

I loved the conclusion. It doesn’t surprise me that Fen and Hunter would bond with all the rescued wolves. Wolfe is a gem. The Tribunal reminds me a extremely dysfunctional branch of the UN with the extremists and allies not willing to step up. Celia redeemed herself as a mother and Hunter’s formative years mentor shows his true colors. All in all I liked this HEA for Fen and Hunter, a great alpha pair.

This is a really good story. Fen is growing into the Alpha that she needs to be. Will she be able to make the ruling wolf council agree to their pack having a territory? Read the story and find out. I am hoping there will be more stories that spin off from this one. It is good and I am looking forward to what the author writes next.

Enjoyable saga
I didnt want the book to end, l was really enjoying getting to know all those in this wolf pack and watching the relationships grow. It was a good sized book and really kept my attention. I also own the audible book, I am used to the narrator' and how she speaks, she suits these characters. Recommended in all forms.

Fen and Hunter and their pack are settling down (or trying) but they need approval from the regional alphas to claim their own pack land. Naturally, there's pack politics in the way.

Also, there are murders happening that look like wolf murders.

The characters have grown over the trilogy and mesh well in their roles.

I think this was the best of the werewolf books that I've read by this author. I was impressed by how Fen was able to grow and become the alpha we all hoped she would become. So many twists along the way made it even better.

I received this book from the author Aimee Easterling as an ARC (Advanced Readers Copy) for an honest review.

I love how easily Aimee Easterling eases you into a story and back into as this case may be as it is the third book of the series. And the last as it seems. I will be sad to see this series end.

At first the only thing I thought the story would be dealing with was a serial killer roaming around near Wolf Landing, the area that Fen's pack had put a claim on, and the fact that Fen's wolf was testing her boundaries. Then, the sheep was killed and Stormwinder and his henchman, Grey, that he left behind at Wolf Landing. And the fact that Fen, Hunter and the rest of the pack are trying to become a real pack is also a large part of the story that makes this complicated but in a great way. I love the complications that Aimee puts her characters through. It makes for a great story and adds different plot twists into it as well.

I loved the fact that Fen worried about her pack falling to pieces while Hunter and herself were moving around trying to get support from other Alpha's so that Wolf Landing could become a pack and Stormwinder could be thrown out. They only have a few days before All-Pack, which is the gathering of Alphas and packs and from what I understand happens every year. I could be wrong about that. But All-Pack is the only time that new packs can be voted in as actual packs. In the beginning of the book Wolf Landing is granted probationary pack status and if they win the vote at All-Pack they become an actual pack.

Anyway, back to the thought that I started before the explanation of All-Pack. The fact that even though Fen is with her mate alone for the first time in a while and she keeps thinking about her pack shows to me that she really is an alpha even though she keeps having doubts in her mind. She has had these doubts since the beginning of the series however. But I like that.

And then all hell breaks loose. Lupe, the werewolf that Fen has connected with over problems with their wolf issues that they share, looses twins that belong to a friend of hers and thinks she ate them. This is even when she loves the twins and "believes they hung the moon." And this all is still during the time that Fen and Hunter are not at Wolf Landing and are about 4 hours away. Fen and Hunter have others there to help look after Wolf Landing, including Wolfie, Fen's old alpha.

I love the faith that Wolfie has for Fen and her alpha abilities. The fact that he turned her out and did not help her during that time shows, in my opinion shows that he has a lot of faith in Fen and her abilities. And that is exactly what Wolfie tells Fen at one point in the book. Love it!

And then it gets even more complicated as Grey turns into the serial killer that Fen has been looking for, has kidnapped two baby pups, and has been controlling Fen in some way. Other werewolves are attacking Wolf Landing as Fen is on her way to All-Pack and can't help, Grey challenges Hunter to a battle winner gets all and loser gets nothing. Meaning if Hunter loses Grey gets to be alpha of Wolf Landing, gets Fen as his mate, ect. All the while Fen has lost control of her wolf as her wolf hungers for blood.

Finally in the end, as I don't want to spoil too much more of the story. Fen finds her alpha side which was with her all along she just needed to realize it, Grey was not the one to be manipulating Fen's wolf. And finally Wolf Landing becomes an official pack.

One of my favorite parts of the book is "Despite the fresh forces, our contingent was clearly outnumbered and obviously outmatched. Ginger's sharp tongue and Sinsa's spunk aside, my crew mates were considerably smaller and weaker than the shifters they faced. And my own inability to fight off the male's compulsion in the traditional fashion proved we were weak in other areas as well.

Perhaps that's why the bystanders met Sinsa's warning growl with easy laughter. "A party of bitches," one male murmured almost to low for me to hear.

This is what we wanted, I reminded myself. This was why Ginger had chosen to keep our deputation all-female--she'd hoped that hide-bound males would underestimate our prowess and lower their guard.

Now, I took advantage of the males' amusement to push my own door wide and step out onto the sand. "No, boys," I said with a confidence I was surprised to find wasn't the least bit feigned. "Not a party of bitches. A bitch attack force."" This made me smile and go hell yeah!
I would highly recommend this book. I loved it and would happily give it ten stars. Though Amazon only lets me rate it as 5.

Oh my gosh.... the perfect ending to another great series by Aimee Easterling. I had so much fun "watching" the pack come together and defend the space they'd claimed as their home. This book will touch your heart and leave you wishing for more.

Great book highlighting Fen”s journey to become a strong Alpha to her pack of misfits. It also tells her the struggle of her inner wolf and Fen learning how to act as one. Truly enjoyed this book which concludes Fen’s trilogy.

I really loved this book. It has a little bit of everything. There is love, conflict, mystery, and some alpha showdowns.
The book begins with Fen working with the one-body Robert on another in a string of murders that appear to be committed by a shifter, but Fen can find no sniff of a shifter. On the home front there is the upcoming All-pack where Fen hopes to have her pack recognized by the other packs and her territory upheld.
When a ram is killed on the night of the pack run, things get hairy with the locals that blame one of the "dogs" for the kill. On top of that, the council enforcer that used to employ Hunter is sniffing around and has brought Hunter's replacement along for the ride.
Join Fen and company as they battle to save themselves and their new home. Will they finally get to have the kind of pack they want?
I sure hope we get more books on other pack members!

I just finished Wolf Landing, the last of the Hunter Series (I think it's supposed to be about Fen, but I love Hunter). I really enjoyed it. I loved seeing the bloodlings again, and even old Wolfie showed up for a brief moment. There is action, excitement, love and so much courage. The story was wrapped up neatly and in a bow, although I did notice a Grey string I would love to unravel... If you enjoy supernatural novels, and shifters in particular, them Aimee Easterling's world is a definite must read for you! She paints such a vivid and beautiful picture of her world, her people, and I must say I would love to live in it. I did receive this book in return for a fair and honest review, which is 5 out of 5 stars from me. I truly loved it!
