Grandma told me not to mess with Ouija boards, so this is the next best thing. The planchette says, 'C-H-I-L-L-I-N-G' and 'E-N-T-H-R-A-L-L-I-N-G'! This is one you cannot miss.

I have always been fascinated by Ouija boards although, following an unfortunate and scary experience once, I won't use them anymore. i still can't resist books and films in which they feature. Intersections is a brilliant collection of original stories which all feature an ouija board - but in a whole range of situations. It features stories by Megan Hart (Blood Born) and Sephera Giron (The Next Big Thing), of whose work I am already a fan. Both stories gripped and entertained me. I have now added four more authors to my 'must read' pile - including Kerry Lipp, whose story 'Ghosted' is the first in the collection and had me completely hooked. Rob E. Boley's Mr Shady was addictively creepy. Gallow's Grove by Brad C. Hodson demonstrated why he is held in such high regard as a horror writer. Chris Marrs 'Sounds in Silence' presented a different vision of heaven and hell - scary stuff indeed. Altogether, a great collection of highly individual stories. Loved it.

A couple of good stories. A couple of okay stories. A couple of stinkers. Special mention: Last story was dreadful and cheated in the sense a Ouija board was barely mentioned. Naturally it was written by a male for obvious reasons.

I have to say that I went into this horror anthology not really knowing what to expect--and though it's an anthology featuring a handful of authors as opposed to the 30-plus contributor type of anthologies, I was pleased to find that each one of these stories offers something unique, different, and unconventional while using ouija boards as the center of each story. I found Chris Marrs's entry involving a battle between heaven and hell to be quite vivid and interesting, while Brad Hodson's foray into a historical horror tale with shades of detective stories was also quite alluring. Sephera Giron's story was also excellent. I enjoyed the other stories as well, but as with all anthologies, there are always going to be ones that people consider their favourites--stories that stand apart from the rest. The quality of this anthology is fantastic and it's a great read for horror and dark fantasy fans.

Being a Christian and not wanting anything to do with ouiji boards as a way for doors to be opened that shouldn't be, i figure this was the safest way to satisfy my curiosity about them, however, other than the first story,(which was awesome) the other 5 stories were absolutely ridiculous and bordered on fantasy and sci-fi... and had almost nothing to do with the boards... i was so disappointed in the stories that i skimmed through them after i got through halfway of each one because i was bored stiff. Honestly, some writers forget what real horror is, we are supposed to be scared... or at least wrapped up in the story... Severe disappointment. On all accounts, it gets one star, for the first story glad, this book was free.

Super neat. Can I pick a favorite story? Probably not. If I had to choose, it'd probably be a tie between Kerry Lipp's "Ghosted," Brad C. Hodson's "Gallow's Grove," or Rob E. Boley's "Mr. Shady," the longest and weirdest of them all. "Blood Born" by Megan Hart might have been the scariest, or maybe it just seems that way because I have a newborn and I'd kill anyone who posed a threat to her. Every story in this anthology is a knockout, though, and it proves an extremely pleasant deviation from the watered down Ouija Horror subgenre Netflix and Amazon keeps pushing on us (or maybe just me). In short; this anthology is worth every penny. Buy it.

6 completely unique stories in a hard to put down book . A good read but not super scary. I thought the scare factor would be higher based on the title . But all in all its attachments good read

This is a fantastic collection of stories from some great authors. Every time I finished a story, I was wanting more. I'll definitely look for more titles by each author. It's a good collection to dip your toe in and get a taste of new writers. A definite winner!
