There is no safe zone. The United States has been infected from coast to coast. Countless millions have been killed, and yet more are infected. Every American is dead. Some of them just haven't noticed yet.
But wait. Just when all seems lost an old friend reappears, and he brings with him the faintest glimmer of hope. Hope that the human race may yet win through. Hope that some may survive. Hope that this great nation may still have one last fight left in it.
Don't stop.
Don't give up.
Don't breathe...
It's in the air.
VACCINE is the third and final book in the terrifying post-apocalyptic Last Man Standing series.
"Writing so brilliant it's impossible to put down" ... "Exceptional" ... "Surprised and delighted"
Keith Taylor is the true identity of the million plus selling author behind the pen names Aya Fukunishi and K A Taylor, who toiled for years writing bizarrely popular romance novels while he secretly longed to return to his true calling: explosively awesome post-apocalyptic fiction.
Keith hails from the rainy suburbs of Manchester in the north of England. He lives with his wife, Otgontsetseg, and splits his time between Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Bangkok, Thailand. He survives on a diet of meat, cheese, beer and cigarettes, and he probably shouldn't still be alive.
The final wrap up of this trilogy was a banger from beginning to end. Liked the way it wrapped up.. very movie like but I didn't mind a bit of cheese. Would recommend
A bit of a rushed ending but the action flowed as with the first two in the trilogy. Did like the infection that transformed those infected into zombie like creatures and the similarity with the fungal infection that certain ants can be targeted with. Worth reading.
I really liked how this final book wrapped up this series. I especially liked how the true nature of the infection worked out and how the vaccine was developed.
.....and they lived happily ever after. The ending kept me on pins and needles. Loved the storyline, characters and the total chaos that followed them.
Most memorable paragraph......All day they'd turned to him, expecting him to make decisions that affected the lives of all two million of the city, and he just wanted to grab them by their collars and give them a firm shake until they realized he was just a terrified 25 year old kid with a GED and a recreational pot habit. F**k, he didn't even understand how plumbing worked.
Who would have guessed that a hipster with no sense or skills would careen through the first two books getting nearly everyone with training, skills or brains who come across him killed but in book three he’s the savior of humanity? Or that the last scientist from the CDC able to decode the research and replicate the vaccine would be a ridiculous cockney female of indeterminate age who liberally peppered her speech with hackneyed “Brit-speak” such as “what-ho, pip pip, cheerio!” and other such inanities? But that’s what happened. There are fewer grizzly scenes of zombie/human interaction in book three but it still manages to leave me wondering if the planet wouldn’t have been better off if it had been reset by a passing asteroid than to be repopulated by this selection of morons.

Being a person who likes medical mysteries, this book/series filled the bill. This is a fast paced series and always a stopping wall for the mornings yes to get through. Though fairly a predictable ending, the meat of the series keeps you wondering how and who will move on to the end. I would recommend this book to those who either like the medical aspect of it or the zombie apocalypse theme. A fast a d good read. This be up on this one.👍
A KT. SYFY. Novel (LMSB - 3)/A Vaccine is Developed
KT. has. penned a SYF Y Novel About a U.S. Epidemic that has dismanated the United Stated. The virus is nationwide as the chaos extends from sea to shining sea then border to border. Everyone appears dead. However, there is a slight glimmer of hope that some may survive. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
I enjoyed this book very much aside from the countless times Christ's name was taken in vain .Shame on this author for not considering how someone other than himself feels about this.
I was sick in bed so I was able to read all three books in two days. This was a decent series,(I really liked the main character being kinda of an average Joe) but not a great one. If I would have had to wait for the last book to be written I would not have been losing my mind in anticipation. I will read more from this author though, he has talent.
I love the zombie genre, and this one didn't disappoint! Great characters, great vision and the delivery was perfect. I only wish it didn't end! Kudos to the author....
