Discover the paranormal worlds of New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Jennifer Ashley (and her pseudonym, Allyson James) in three full novels. Shifters, dragons, immortal warriors and vampires await you!
In HARD MATED, jaguar shifter and fight-club champion Spike discovers he has a cub, which changes his entire life, as does the sassy horse trainer who’s there to make sure he’s the best dad he can be.
In NIGHTWALKER, Janet Begay, a Stormwalker who runs an inn that’s a refuge for paranormals everywhere, must protect her shy-by-day, rampaging-at-night vampire guest from being hunted by slayers. Mick, Janet’s dragon boyfriend, is on hand to supply fire, humor, hot nights, and to battle alongside Janet against forces that want to unmake the world.
THE CALLING beings the bestselling and award-winning Immortals series with the story of immortal warrior Adrian who is searching for his brother Tain, and needs the assistance of the beautiful witch Amber to help him. He and his Immortal warrior brothers begin a battle against death magic to keep the world from sliding into absolute darkness.
Each novel is a standalone and tells an entire story in its series. Enjoy!
NY Times Bestselling author Jennifer Ashley writes historical, contemporary, and paranormal romance, historical mysteries, and urban fantasy as Jennifer Ashley, Allyson James, and Ashley Gardner.
I've pulled together a novel from each of my paranormal series for this set--The Calling from the Immortals; Nightwalker from Stormwalker; and Hard Mated from Shifters Unbound. These are full-length books (though Hard Mated is a bit shorter--about 50,000 words).
I hope you enjoy this introduction into my paranormal worlds!
3 Books in 1. Hard Mated: Reviewed Separately. Night Walker: Unread as yet. Immortals, The Calling: A Re-read.
The Calling Bk1 from the Immortals series by Jennifer Ashley. I read this story almost 10 years ago & a re-read reminded me why I added her to my must read list. For paranormal lover's everywhere, this story offers something for everyone. An Immortal warrior, a Dragon, Vampire's, Werewolve's, Witches, Demons, Life Magic, Death Magic, a Rouge Immortal & so much more. From the 1st page to the last it once again captivated my attention & never let go. Fast paced, action packed, well written, at time's sizzling sensuality, heart stopping angst that make you want to cry out in horror & through it all a growing romance. I will definitely be re-reading the rest of the Immortals series, (which I'm happily have) & would recommend this to everyone. An absolutely worthy read.
Sometimes its when you get a book that gives you insight to different series from an author so you know what appeals to you before you buy more.
This is one of those books. We have the first book in three separate series. I found they all had something different to offer and each was enjoyable but the Immortal Series is something I know I can sink my teeth into so at this time that's the one I'm going to continue with.
If you want to see what kind of stories this author has to share, I think you'll like your choices and who knows you might even continue with one that captures your attention.
This boxed set contains three great books from three separate series. The first, Hard Mated, is one of my favorites from the series. I'd read it before, but it was still fresh. The second is from the Stormwalker series, and was a first time read for me. I enjoyed it, but not as much as the other two books. The third is the first book in the Immortals series and it was good enough to send me on to books two and three, available in the KU library. I have enjoyed the classic fight of good vs evil and am looking forward to book four.
I enjoyed all three of the books in this set. Each was an intro into a different series. I read the first as an individual book and when I checked for other books by the author, discovered that I had this set. The second book was my favorite, as it dealt with native people of the southwest and their mythologies. The third book involved a present world with supernaturals and ancient immortals. I found the characters of all three books to be well developed and enjoyable to read about their experiences.
A terrific intro to Ms. Ashley's work. Hard Mated was the first of her books I read (years ago) and I fell in love with the Shifters Unbound series. Although is book four of the Stormwalker series, I enjoyed it and look forward to continuing. The final book, The Calling, is the first in a multi-author series that is a fast, page turning ride that I will definitely be reading more of. All in all, a wonderful box set. Enjoy!
I love stories about the stories, paranormal and these three were really good. I absolutely loved the stories, the characters and the happy ending for the first two. The last is an excerpt so don't let that surprise you. It gives you a good idea what to expect from that series. I have read them and can attest they are really good.
This started as a good book, but the writer didn't seem to know when to end it. Now it has become a deleted book from my library. 2 stars: 1 for the price (free) and 1 bc it did hold my attention for a few days.
Know when to end a story: a course for writers & editors.
Mixed feelings. Jennifer Ashley writes a good short story. Will have to see if she has done anything a bit longer because these could have had more character depth if they were a bit longer and could have gone beyond the drama to a full story complete with more character development and plot. If you like a lot of action in a short amount of time-- this is a goodread! :)
I am a big fan of this author's work. The Shifters Bound series is addicting and I have all the books. I'm fairly new to her Stormwalker series, but I really like it. The Calling of the Immortals series is definitely worth the read. Overall this is a great starter pack.
I enjoy the Shifters Unbound series but was unaware about the other paranormal romance series. This was a great sample of the other 2 and I can't wait to continue reading them.
Three stories in this collection. Hard mated I read this one previously. Fun story about a shifter and human. Nightwalker This was like jumping into a story in progress. Lots of magic and adventure. The calling A witch and demigod join forces. Too long for me. Typos: see notes.
I couldn't put this book down. Not only did I have enough pages to make me holler in joy but the stories and characters enteraining. I have bought the series up to book 5. Loving this series so fr
Wow! What a read. This book has absolutely everything I could ask for all rolled into one tasty book. Intriguing and captivating right til the end of book 1. A definite one to put on your reading list.
I just finished reading three excellent stories! I want to finish reading the Immortal series and the Stormwalker series. The shifter series is excellent but not one I want to pursue. The books kept me interested and I actually read two other of the Stormwalker series. I do recommend this book.
I chose this rating because this book holds your intention. And draws you to the next book in series. I disliked its longines. I recommend it to all lovers of supernatural 😊
Book 1: Hard Mated - this was early in the series. I must have read it before but dont remember. Spike's story about his one night stand ends with a surprise years later.. On the womans deathbed she reveals he has a son. Her best friend Myka is skeptical that he would be a good father so she keeps tabs on him. then she gets in the middle of shifter political dynamics. Then she gets involved with Spike.
