What if you really were transported to a fantasy world and expected to kill monsters to survive?
No special abilities, no OP weapons, no status screen to boost your stats. Never mind finding the dragon’s treasure or defeating the Demon Lord, you only need to worry about one thing—how to stay alive.
Book Three
A new city brings new problems for Colin. Trolls, zombers, lizardmen and a little girl dressed in black all want to make trouble for the most reluctant of reluctant heroes.
Funny as all get out, and a good story to boot, you just can't beat that. If you haven't read any of this series yet, then I have to ask what you're waiting for, because this is great stuff, humorous, and entertaining, and each one is a completely different adventure that takes place in the same world, so they get to build off one another, which (if you read them in order) makes them even better. Unfortunately, they aren't in Kindle unlimited, which is why I am working my way through them so infrequently, but they're still worth the read, and if you can buy them all, you should do so and begin reading just as soon as you can. There isn't a whole lot of other books like this series, and if you enjoy humor, rpgs, good adventure, and laughable heroes that don't want to be anything of the sort, then you don't want to miss this series.
...and yet, Colin and his companions still manage to live through every challenge. This series is delightful--not deep, serious FANTASY--but delightful. I haven't been able to stop reading... I am just sorry that I read so fast. I will be done soon. :(
These books are such a laugh and i haven't found any obvious or irritating mistakes. The story continues to keep me interested and the fact that I relate, a little too well at times, to the main character keeps me coming back for more. If you liked the first two, you will enjoy this one as well. Keep them coming! (MC's humor is top-notch)
These have been interesting reads, it’s been 24 hrs and I’m already moving to book four, they’re easy reads, great plot twists, interesting characters. I enjoy the humor embedded in fantasy action. It’s unlike anything I e ever read. But is quite short.
Good series, funny and interesting. A bit pricey broken up as it is with higher price tag. I have paid for a couple after the first free one so it has been worth it so far.
I haven't read for pleasure in years, but I just devoured the first three of this series in three days. Very enjoyable style of writing, fun material, and the story flows wonderfully.
Seriously entertaining and funny dialogue. I am amazed there are so few reviews. Author - go on a social media blitz to drum up sales. It has to be a marketing issue, since the book was written with some real skill
